Das Hostel befindet sich ca 30 gehminuten von der Stadt Montañita entfernt. Grundsätzlich bietet das Hostel alles was man braucht wie Bar, Pool, Spielemöglichkeiten, Volleyball und einen direkten Strandzugang! Da ich leider in der Wintersaison da war konnt man aufgrund des dauerhaften Regens nichts wirklich benutzen! Die Dorm sind sehr einfach und ohne Ventilator aber dafür mit Mosquitonetzen ausgestattet! Man kann sich auch für 50cent seine Wasserflasche auffüllen lassen.

100% recommended!!! kamala really is heaven on earth🥹 here you can expect some beautiful sunsets, nice waves for surfing, amazing staff and a relaxed vibe. the location is perfect, as you can walk in to montañita in just 15-20 minutes (a nice beachwalk!), but far enough away to fall asleep to the sound of the waves, instead of noise from the parties in town. pablo, the owner, is also super friendly and will go out of his way to make your stay the best! thank you for everything!! tupananchisk...

awesome hostel at the edge of Mantañita. You're just far enough from the party to get some R&R, but close enough that you can join in anytime. Maxime and Audrey are super hosts that will bend over backwards to help you have the best time. Right on the beach with a massive pool and a wonderful common area to chill in. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Wondeful and peaceful place. Kamala is located just next to the sea and the pool, the beach-volley pitch and all the installations are great and make this place magical. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but I extended to 12 nights. Staff are kind and helpful. I’ll remember my stay here! I highly recommend !

Die Lage außerhalb von Montañita war für uns sehr angenehm. Es gab einen coolen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Billiard und Tischtennis. Die Hütten sind basic und die Bäder und die Küche könnten sauberer sein. Als wir dort ankamen, gab es ein paar Probleme mit einem Besitzerwechsel. Die verbesserungswürdige Sauberkeit und die fehlenden sozialen Aktivitäten würden wir darauf schieben, sodass in ein paar Wochen das Hostel hoffentlich so cool ist wie es eigentlich sein könnte.

So much potential here but it was so run down and dirty when I arrived. The staff weren’t rude but also not friendly or knowledgeable. The location was really far and people take taxis to town. I left as soon as I could.

This is the best spot I could have ever ended up staying at! The water is just a few paces away from the hostel's restaurant and lounge area. The facilities are modest, and the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The day we came there were amazing people from all over the world who were hanging out in the common area. The ocean is amazing here, and there are waves to surf. If you are interested in nightlife, the hostel is only a 15 min walk on the beach to drop into Montanita!

Spend a night and will surely come back soon. Great place to hang out, very relaxing atmosphere and great and super friendly stuff. Leute, wenn ihr in Montanita seid, hier solltet ihr unbedingt hin. Eines dieser Orte die einfach besonders sind

Recomiendo 100% este lugar. Si quieres tener los pies en el agua tanto en la playa como en la piscina este lugar es perfecto para eso. Super bien para hacer hacer la fiesta, pero puedes también descansar sin problema. Además el dueño y el personal están súper amables! Segura que vamos a regresar

I loved my stay at Kamala!! The property is super cute and in such a peaceful location on the beach. That staff is amazing!!! They are soo friendly and fun to hang out with! I felt right at home and ended up staying an extra 2 weeks here. It was the bet decision ever to stay here. Will be back!!

Kamala is absolutely beautiful. It is located right on the beach- you can see and hear the ocean from everywhere on the property. It's whale season and we can see the whales all throughout the day! The property is super cute and clean and is well maintained.

Clean dorms, great parties, awesome staff. We enjoyed the hostel very much. We could surf, socialise and relax in this beautiful place whenever we wanted. The food is amazing and they keep the bar running as long as there are people. Amazing experience, would recommend.
