HaLong and Me Hometel

It is like visiting members of your family.🤍 Mike can give you plenty of information on Vietnamese culture and touristic information. And Huang is very kind and cooks very well. There are coffee shops and small shops very close to the house.

Owner is so helpful with transport and food recommendations. Very good location 3 minute walk to the beach

Der Host war sehr nett, das Zimmer, besonders das Klo leider sehr dreckig, auf den Laken und Handtüchern waren Flecken und für die Bettdecke gab es auch auf Nachfrage keinen Bezug. Insgesamt aufgrund des dreckigen Zimmers nicht zu empfehlen.

Most comfortable bed I had in all my time in Vietnam

Lovely owner, lovely breakfast, really good tour of ha long bay from the hostel. Air con cold and shower hot and powerful. Only negative is that it is a bit further out so not any restaurants etc nearby. All round a good base for ha long bay but not a lot more to do in the area.

Such a nice place. Clean, comfortable and great facilities. Mike is such a friendly and helpful host, and even upgraded me to a private free of charge. Would definitely stay again!

Mike was very helpful in setting me up with a motorbike, he got me a great deal and it made my day trip to the monastery perfect. The location is near the beach outside of town. This hostel was peaceful, quiet, with good wifi. It was perfect for me since I had quite a few English classes to teach online - I sat at the tables downstairs or on the couch and was not be disturbed by any music or outside noises. The kitchen was clean. If u are looking for a big party, this is not the right hostel...

Aah Mike.. i love you... Most helpful person i met in Ha long, he showed me the exact Halong..He gave us company at night.. He took care of everything. he became very good friend with in a short period of time...

I arrived at the HaLong and Me Hometel late in the night. The dorms were full so the owner upgraded me to a brilliant private room at no extra cost. This was an example of the kindness and excellent hospitality shown by the owner and his family who I was lucky enough to spend time with. Would recommend to any traveller to stay here 5 stars!! Thank you!

The owner Mike was so sweet and helped us a lot with both booking tours, transport and much more. We got a room across due to overbooking, but the it was nice, big and clean. It isn't a social hostel, but nice if you need to relax like we did. The location isn't great though, 15 minute walk to restaurants. Not much happening overall in the area.

Spacious room with everything you need, and a wonderful host. He helped us with everything from ordering different tickets, tips on where to go, preparing food and driving us places we needed to go. Can definitely recommend😄

Personnels très accueillants, toujours joignables et disponibles. Situé à 15 minutes en voiture du centre-ville,et dispose d'une plage a quelques minutes de l'auberge emplacement calme. je recommande !!!

Slept in the Dormroom. I extended my stay for 2 more nights. Meike, his wife and his family are so nice! Felt very welcomed! And got also a lot of recommendations. Where I should go! They also have a little rooftop, where I sometimes just chilled. Loved it! Thank you so much!
