Deep Blue Divers

Friendly as well as very helpful staff, fabulous travellers, a couple of resident cats with great personalities. Although rough and ready when approached from one direction, leads to the impressive markets and seaside walk. It was a treat to find hot water, presumably for the benefit of the divers. Could the upholstery be improved by occasional washing?

Don’t go to this hostel. The facilities are old and worn out, and the cleanliness… don’t even get me started. I’ve never seen a place so dirty — there was 1–2 mm of dust in my locker, and when I shook the blanket, I started coughing because it was so dusty. The floor was black. Honestly, just avoid it at all costs. I didn’t even stay the second night because I felt so uncomfortable.

Could be good but needs a thorough clean. Staff were nice. Good location.

Amazing Place

Very close to the sea, the main road, restaurants and commerce. flexible with the stay. bathrooms always supplied, clean and with hot water. rooms with enough hangers and lockers. it has several places to chill indoors and outdoors. As a recommendation, should be good to have filtered water or pure water dispenser and cooking space/supplies.

Great place, great dive school, great people running it

Just as stated from other reviews. Owner very nice guy. Place is tired, needs cleaned badly, kitchen unusable due to just poor equipment and filthy. Yet cheap and good location. Bummer he doesn’t take these reviews and do a deep clean. Also same dog 3 nights in a row barking through the night. Asked to fix said couldn’t I don’t believe that was true. Has to leave to get sleep.

Basic hostel, location is great as it is in the middle of the town and the supermarket is at the corner. Not a lot going one, really quite. For the staff, Jo is amazing and he helps with everything!

It was quiet and comfortable. Also, it was convenient because there was a supermarket nearby.

Very nice place to stat, the staff is really amazing and able to help you with anything, location is just perfect, but in other hand, I should say kitchen area needs more care if you want to cook something, as well as another refrigerator to have more space.

I can recommend 100% for everybody this beautiful hostel to stay. Nice rooftop with a beautiful view and it takes only 1 minute to the ocean 👍🏼 From the first day I felt really comfortable with the place and moreover the people around me. The staff is nice and willing to help you out with any kind of desires and questions. It felt like a second home for me. I’m looking forward to book it next time again! 🙏🏼☺️

I stayed in the private room on the rooftop for two nights. Pros: - Good location Cons: - Shower only had cold water - Unhygienic environment; couldn't stop coughing - Affordable at around $20 per night, but there are many places in Dahab that offer higher quality at a lower price. Having a rating of 10 seems unnatural. Checking reviews on booking.com or Google Maps may provide a more accurate assessment.

The best hostel!!! I was really wandering for a place to stay for a while and arrive slowly to egypt. And I felt in love with Dahab and this hostel. I felt home since the first day I arrived. Mo is so friendly and makes you feel like home. He helped me a lot this days and I will be forever thankful. I recommend it 100%!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊

Nice hostel! a little older and not the "freshest" but the owner is really nice, the rooftorooftop is great to hang, perfect if you come with your friends looking for a cheap n comfy place to stay. i heard the dive deals are great and really make it worth it. My favorite dahab cat lives there so thats a win :)

Honestly, the photos looked much nicer than it looked in person. I would just take this into consideration before you book the place. If you're fine with things a bit dirty and old, then go for it. But honestly my friend and I walked in and then we decided to book another hotel for the night. It just wasn't at all what we expected and we didn't feel very welcomed when we walked in ....

Super hostel bien situe a Dahab. Pres du marche des restos et de la mer. Les gens qui y travaillent sont adorables. Je recommande vivement !

Mo and Ahmed at Deep Blue drivers were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They didnt pressure us at all to dive, and gave us all the insights on where to eat, chill, and snorkel. They advised us how to get around Dahab, and also offer tours for surrounding sites. The hostel had a common area and rooftop which was great for meeting people and hanging out.
