DONT BOOK THIS HOSTEL, IT HAS BEDBUG AND MOLD!! they blamed me for the bedbugs. The room smells like mold, also the bathroom has a lot of mold and they dont clean at all! The owner, Brian, is so so so rude!
Very kind staff, nice and calm Hostel. But a thing I don‘t like is, that they give you a free drink for a good review of the hostel. So that‘s why I think the reviews are not really accurate..
Stay was nice enough. The staff was welcoming. The location is kind of in between things but they do have a good deal with a scooter rental. The matras feels like you are actually lying on the bed frame. But what was most annoying is that there was something wrong with the AC, so it felt like Antarctica in there. They couldn’t fix it so they just gave me a blanket. But after three nights there i caught a pretty bad cold.
Hele chille, rustige, niet hele grote hostel. Relaxte sfeer, geen party maar wel genoeg om te socializen. Aardig personeel. Ik verbleef hier tijdens Fullmoon. Enige minpunt wat ik kan bedenken is de locatie. Strand is wel op loopafstand, maar voor de betere/mooiere stranden heb je een scooter of taxi nodig. Full moon is 15 minuten met de taxi. Ik koos bewust voor de locatie om op een rustigere plek te zitten.
Hele chille, rustige, niet heel groot hostel. Relaxed atmosphere, no party but well enough to socialize. Nice staff. I verbleef here during Fullmoon. Any minpunt I can think of is the location. Strand is wel op loopafstand, but for the better/mooiere beaches I need a scooter or taxi. Full moon is 15 minutes by taxi. I chose consciously for the location to sit on a quieter place.
A nice enough hostel, best part is the upstairs balcony seating area which is a really nice space to meet people and chat. Not the most happening in this location, so if you don't want to rent a motorbike you'll need to pay for a taxi to get to places where there's more going on (thong sala). Beds not the best, but you do have own lamp, charging point etc. One bathroom currently being re-fitted so I'm sure the hostel is only going to get better!

Hostel was generally good basic. Nothing that special. It was pretty far I think u have to have scooter if staying. Not social at least this time.
After a week there, I can say it was a really good place to stay in Koh Phangan. The hostel has a terrace where everyone goes to socialise. We made an amazing group there and I really recommend the hostel for solo travellers. Easy to meet people there. The staff were nice and helpful and the location is good to move from both sides of the island.

Insgesamt hat mir die Unterkunft gut gefallen. Der Host war Mega nett und es gab eine süße chill area. Der Vibe war mir allerdings etwas zu entspannt und es ging nicht wirklich was. Außerdem gab es keine Aufbewahrungsmöglickheiten für den Rucksack im Zimmer sodass alles im weg rumstand.
Overall, I liked the accommodation. the host was mega nett and there was a sweet chill area. the vibe was a little too relaxed for me though and it wasn't really going well. plus there were no storage options for the rucksack in the room so everything was in the way of the rum stand.

This hostel was perfectly quiet and peaceful, and a cheap price for how good the hostel is! There is a place to chill and meet people, though I came during low season so I only made a few friends. But the staff are WONDERFUL and caring, and there is food and other beaches within walking distance. I would recommend if you are staying here to rent a bike to get to other places in the island, taxis are expensive. Facilities in the hostel were clean and the rooms were really nice and cold!
It was a very enjoyable hostel, I had a great time staying there. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything you need. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The location isn’t the best, you need a scooter to get around but there are some good places to eat next door. I get why people say they didn’t meet many people, it’s definitely more of a chill hostel, but if you want to, you can of course always meet people. Overall good hostel, great staff, very quiet, good to ch...
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's very clean and well-equipped. The breakfast is delicious, the location is close to the beach, and the staff are all super friendly.

Top Hostel! Würde wieder kommen. Leider etwas laut da direkt an Hauptstraße aber ansonsten einfach super :)
I'm sure you'll be able to find a great hostel in the area, but unfortunately it's a bit loud and direct from Hauptstraße but otherwise just super:)

Es war schön dort, der Balkon ist echt klasse. Die Bäder waren zwar schön gestaltet, ich fand sie aber etwas dreckig. Die Lage ist ohne Roller sehr schlecht, auch wenn es da überall Taxis gibt. Ansonsten alles supi!
The bathrooms were nice though they were designed but I found them a little dirty. the situation is very bad without the roller, even though there are taxis everywhere.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, the staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Me and my sister had a great time at this hostel. The vibe is nice and chill during the day and when there’s some people in the hostel it has a good social atmosphere (we were here during the lowest season and we love it). C was on shift for the afternoon, she always was very helpful and friendly, overall legend. The other staff members also were always welcoming and kind. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean. The location was good near plenty of restaurants and a 7-11. Overall loved it.
The atmosphere of the See Sea Hostel is very social. The staff is fantastic! They do everything in their power to make your stay as enjoyable as possible like organising transport, giving advise about activities or interesting places to go on the island. The dorms are clean and spacious with safe boxes/closets to safely store you valuables. They also have a connection with a reliable scooter/motorbike rental company which makes renting a motorbike very easy!

Great location, great people, and great set up. Really loved this hostel, it felt like home. I’d recommend talking with them before arriving about scooter parking and/or renting a scooter through them.
