Good location, nice staff 👌

Nice place located in the fort,some things about facilities should be fixed and replaced,small rooms,but calm due to position in the fort yard.Good view from common area.Staff were nice.It is ok.

Had a perfect stay at Zostel Jaisalmer, the staff were nice and welcoming and were good at giving recommendations to further places. Would definitely stay again!

Smelly dorms with no Window, No water for using washrooms. after waiting for 2 hrs for water supply had switched to another hostel

The staff and the location of the hostel were amazing! You will be able to spend a wonderful time and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. However, the cleanliness of the hostel leaves a lot to be desired. Common areas have unclean pillows and furniture covers, and bathrooms have not been thoroughly cleaned to the point you can see mold and calcium buildup. If you are willing to overlook these things, you should be up for a great stay as the place and location are beautiful.

Hotel surroundings and room were amazing, so much so that we returned after our camel safari. What let it down however was the service. We were charged 400rs upon arrival to check in early, despite the hotel being empty, and then they tried to charge us 1000rs for checking out an hour or two late. Es war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis in einer Burg zu schlafen. Unser Zimmer war direkt neben einem Balkon mit unglaublicher Aussicht. Vor allem für den Sonnenuntergang und Aufgang perfekt. Wir konnten direkt vor Ort auch eine safari Tour in der Wüste buchen, was sooo toll war. Essen, Mitarbeiter, Service und Sauberkeit waren gut. Uns hat es sehr gefreut so viele unvergessliche Erinnerungen in jaisalmer sammeln zu dürfen.

Amazing view from the rooftop cafe makes up for whatever little issues, only problem was that it was a bit difficult to communicate with some of the staff for things like directions and informations. The nearest atm is a very long walk, i still really liked the location, just advise to get cash out for entire stay when you arrive before walking up to the walled center.

This is not the place if you’re going to get a private room. There is no privacy, you can hear what’s going on outside like it’s in your room. The bathrooms are shabby with no toiletries provided. You’d expect a better service if you’re paying ₹3k+ a night for a private en-suite. It’s better to get a hotel. If you want to save, then just get a dorm room. That’ll be better. Do not get the private rooms.

This is my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at so far in India (and I’ve lived here for six months) - the location is fabulous, right inside the walled city, and the rooftop part of the hostel is beautiful. Easy atmosphere to meet people, and staff are very friendly. My only complaint is there were a fair number of mosquitos inside - maybe add some of the mosquito vaporizers.
