The only good thing about this property it isn’t location. I had to move out on day 2 of my stay due to bed bugs. Thank god (bare minimum) I was refunded for my stay I could leave. The owner clearly does not care about running the hostel, there was a new batch of volunteers that just arrived during my stay. No one was trained on basic running of the hostel, everyone was lost about what to do. Further facilities don’t work - one shower the light would go off while showering and not come back.

There were bed bugs in the room, I found a dead one on my bed and killed two of them that were very much alive at 2 am. When I told the volunteers they did nothing about it. All the room ended up sleeping in cars and on the couches in the common areas. The owner knows about this as he had treated the room for two days just before, but it's still infested and he should never have reopened the room. He should close the hostel until bed bugs are eradicated.

Verschrikkelijke staff. Aan de gevel van het hostel is aan niet te zien dat je je bij Compass house bevind. Waarna ik een half uur heb aangebeld, en geprobeerd te bellen om binnen te komen waarna een (buurtbewoner?) mij binnen heeft gelaten. Hierna was er geen staff te bekennen in het Hostel zelf, heb ik een aanvullende 2.5 uur moeten wachten tot ik eindelijk telefonisch contact heb kunnen krijgen met iemand. This place has an ongoing problem with BEDBUGS - so when I found bedbugs in my belongings they weren’t super surprised, only that the problem had spread. They had us sleep in the room after they sprayed it which not great because of the chemicals. They gave me a refund for the stay but still had to find other accommodation last minute which is pricy. They sent us to the laundromat to wash our clothes - only to get robbed by someone there. Horrible trip

L ostello malgrado sia abbastanza nuovo presenta notevoli lacune prima fra tutte non si dorme la confusione regna sovrana i volontari sono strafottente alle esigenze degli ospiti chiacchierano in piena notte incuranti delle lamentele degli ospiti se volete rilassarvi evitate questo ostello meglio il jungle

La gente se droga, huele a marihuana y fuman libremente. Huele fatal, el lugar esta SUPER sucio, las chicas que trabajan allí muy simpáticas pero no hablan español, lo cual no esta bien. El ambiente es como una residencia de estudiantes donde la gente hace lo que le da la gana sin normas. Pasearse en ropa interior, consumir drogas, etc. Los colchones rotos, de MUELLES! Horror. No hay almohadas, te dan un cojin. Las sabanas, los edredones, las toallas (de pago) TODO MANCHADO. Un 0

Terrible! I was surprised, it had a 9.5 rating, yet bedbugs, almost nonexistent wifi, people stealing food, hardly any volunteers could speak Spanish? 2 of my roommates got bedbugs, I was moved to another partner hostel with barely any notice, fridge was too small, the wifi really didn't work at all half the time, and the partner hostels (Jungle and Columbus) aren't better. Good location and Eliza the receptionist was nice. But stay away! Horrid.

Do not recommend, so many beds bugs. The staff was very cooperative and friendly in helping with early check out . But I was bitten by so many bed bugs. I got up in the middle of the night and saw so many bed bugs crawling on my bed. I was terrified. The sheets and quilts felt like they hadn't been changed for a long time and were damp and smelled bad. Until now, my arms, back, and thighs are all covered with small red bites, which are extremely itchy. A very bad experience.

Had an amazing stay over a couple weeks here in total. Super friendly and welcoming environment, hospitality was top notch. Margherita (manager) was an absolute star and so were the hostel staff. 100% would recommend.

It had everything to be a perfect stay but my bed was infested with bed bugs and I had to be moved to another hostel nearby. I had to ask twice before getting any help. I’m on anti histamines as a result, my skin is severely marked and this affected the quality of my holidays.

Not very clean at all. Staff and patrons were not friendly. The kitchen and bathrooms were very unclean. Additionally, there was incredibly loud sledgehammer construction starting before 8am and dirty towels and sheets.

Personal muy amable pero como son voluntarios la empresa no valora el idioma español lo que es una gran pena porque es difícil entender.

Mi estancia fue MUY AGRADABLE, gracias a la plantilla de los cuales : Gian Luca, Alberto, Ali (Social Event's Manager) que permite a los huéspedes compartir y conocerse de cual sea el país de cada uno, y por supuesto Margherita que es un ser ÚNICO. La pulizia è molto curata e si nota l’attenzione per gli spazi, che sono sempre ordinati e piacevoli da vivere.L’ostello è un posto accogliente, con un’atmosfera rilassata che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Super expérience dans cette auberge de jeunesse ! L’ambiance est vraiment géniale, conviviale et chaleureuse dès l’arrivée. On s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise.Un immense merci à Ali, qui propose des activités variées et super bien organisées. Grâce à lui, on rencontre facilement du monde et on passe des moments inoubliables. Il met une énergie incroyable et ça fait toute la différence !Le personnel est également très sympa, toujours disponible, souriant et prêt à aider....

L’ostelloe è piccolo ma accogliente. L’atmosfera è tranquilla. I volontari sono stati gentili e disponibili, in particolare un ringraziamento a Giovanni. Una buona soluzione per un breve soggiorno a Las Palmas. Consigliato!

I had a really great stay at Compass Hostel. The hostel was clean, and the room I stayed (6-bed room) had good ventilation, which is important to me. The rooftop terrace was really nice and a great place to relax and meet other people. The staff were friendly, approachable, and helpful. A special mention to Margherita, Dasha and Maren for their kindness and for sharing great local tips. They created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that made the stay even better.

A primo impatto l’ostello si presenta bene. Tuttavia, soggiornandovi, emergono alcune problematiche: innanzitutto non si capisce bene a chi rivolgersi per eventuali esigenze, i volontari non sono identificabili in modo chiaro come figure di riferimento; inoltre le scale che conducono al letto al terzo piano sono pericolose; infine la pulizia della struttura (camere e bagni) non è pervenuta. Nonostante questo, un punto positivo è la cucina ben organizzata.

The Hostel is welcoming and has good vibes. Some more attention has to be paid to cleaning: I was in the double private room and we arrived at 7. The bed sheets were not ready till 8 pm and the room had some tobacco leafes on the chairs. In addition the shower on the last floor has never hot water. The staff knew it but I think This information has to be shared in advance.

great hostel with good location if you want to be in Triana area. Supermarket and bars/restaurants are just a short walk away. All areas were cleaned regularly and staff were friendly particularly Giovanni who has helped me multiple times during my stay
