Staff is absolutely terrible.

There was black colored mold in the vent of the air conditioner in my room. I got sick immediately and had to leave. The attendant let slip that it was probably in all the vents. In my mind, this is a really big problem and a safety risk to those who might stay there. The staff was understanding and did refund the remaining two days of my reservation after I literally fled that place, but they gave no indication they were going to take the time/effort/money to sanitize the vents.

I stayed at this lodging twice, and I’m going to leave as fair a review as possible. A positive is that the daytime receptionists are great and try to do everything they can to assist guest issues. Unfortunately, many issues are beyond their control, like a non-working elevator so guests have to carry their luggage up and down several floors for hours, and no air-conditioning in shared rooms on hot, muggy summer nights (which was dangerous from a medical standpoint because guests under the...

My first time in a Hostel and It was a pleasant stay, I took female rooms for 4 nights and everything was good and respectful. Staff team was very professional, mainly the ones which speaks Spanish like me, they guide me and provide value info for my first time in this city (Mimi and Jaz) . In spite of hostel are located in party zone there is not noise at all. Only recommendation is mattress is not so confortable maybe changed.

Noise most nights from midnight through to 6. Even though there is a notice to be quiet from midnight onwards. On one startling night there was a group of lads fighting in the corridor, female roommate was visible quite shaken at this. I wouldn't go here for a safe feeling hostel. This unfortunately overrides any pros.

提前一个月订，结果当了冤大头。。这家合理的价格就是10欧左右，可是提前一个月挂平台的价格是20欧，和正常青旅提前预定价格更低的规律完全不符。推荐人多时候只订一晚，线下续订都比预订便宜

Al llegar no habían cambiado ni siquiera nuestras sábanas, al quitarlas para llevarlas a recepción nos dimos cuenta que los colchones tenían moho y estaban en muy mal estado y además nos picaron bichos durante nuestra estancia ahí. En general la limpieza del lugar es muy mala. Del staff no tenemos quejas ya que el personal de recepción siempre fue amable, pero no recomendaría el lugar nunca por la falta de higiene.

Advertises AC in every room, my room it was broken and I stayed 4 days and it was never fixed. They also didn’t have towels when I arrived because they said the laundry service wasn’t working weekends or something?? Bathrooms felt dirty all the time. Stained sheets. Sweltering hot in the room 35 degrees and no aircon! And the staff were not helpful I had to leave a night early.

Quando estava a fazer o check in a rececionista Orsi que me estava a atender, decidiu a meio fazer uma vídeo chamada, a pedir que lhe comprasse algo e pelo meio veio imensos palavrões, e no final nem um pedido de desculpas fez… Para ela já deve ser uma coisa normal que faz! Relativamente à limpeza, cheguei e a minha cama estava suja, lençóis sujos, enfim limpeza era inexistente!! Para não falar que durante dois dias não existia água quente. Uma experiência a não repetir sem dúvida!...

Très déçue, je demande à décaler une réservation, la première est entièrement débitée sur mon compte bancaire. Je demande un geste commercial car je compte retourner à Budapest, il me propose de réserver à nouveau chez eux et m'offrirait 2 petits déjeuners de compensation !?!? au vu des 100€ prix sur la 1ere réservation alors que je leur ai fourni les justificatifs médicaux, et du prochain séjour du mois de juillet et des tarifs pratiqués à cette période, j'estime qu'ils n...

Dirty and incredibly loud. Don’t expect to be able to sleep or want to shower. I left half way through my stay and found another accommodation because of how horrible my experience was. Bathrooms were quite disgusting. I could barely sleep because of how loud other people were being and the walls to the outside are very thin so you can hear everything from the street. I’ve stayed in much better hostels for cheaper too. Steer clear.

I loved this hostel so much I tried to extend my stay but they were booked. There are various activities in the evening to join (ie wine tasting) and the location is perfect. Clean, good bathrooms, kitchen, and lobby to hang out. The restaurant attached, Fat Mama, is also very good.

Not a very social hostel, youngest people we saw there were in their 30s, not necessarily a negative just something to be aware of. Hostel felt like a hotel though, super clean, great accommodating staff, and great amenities.

It was clean, just a lot of people sharing the bathroom. I do wish they had a few more showers. Unfortunately on our last day there was a leak in the kitchen, that made the space unusable.

Sehr schönes, charmantes Hostel mit netten Mitarbeitern und schönen zimmern mit Vorhängen und Steckdosen. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wären Handtücher in den Bädern zum Hände abtrocknen. Sehr empfehlenswert :)

Great value for the money! I highly recommend this place: very clean, well maintained, well located, and the kitchen is amazing!

Loved our stay in this hostel! The hostel activities were great fun and we met so many people. I definitely recommend the Bingo Bar Crawl and Sip n Sail !! There were plenty of toilets and showers too.

More washrooms would be appreciated. And the doors were almost broken so much that closing it had no point. Other than that all good.

I find this Hostel good, but few things I have to mention are some people being loud and little rude due to lack of respecting the rules, which was so irritating! Bathrooms were okay, however it needs better cleaning. Kitchen needs little change. Internet was unfortunately not so good, I realize after trying to do some work or even simple video conversation, so I had to ask for different WiFi. There are other small things that I optimistically think and hope for improvement when I come back.

las habitaciones me parecieron muy limpias, las camas cómodas,lo baños me gustaron por que los box de duchas son grandes. quiero destacar el desayuno por su variedad y calidad. todo excelente

Maverick Budapest Soho offers a fantastic location, activities, and vibe. However, there are a few areas for improvement: 1. The room doors are sticky, and closing them shut is quite loud. Wakes up everyone in the dorm. 2. Dorm 101 can hear everything in the kitchen, and some residents can be quite noisy at night. 3. Finding a peaceful spot to work or hold a meeting was challenging. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend Maverick Budapest Soho!
