Wostel Djerba

If you're looking for a place in Djerba (or Tunisia for that matter) this is it. Lovely staff, lovely hostel, lovely place. It has everything you could want in a hostel : cosy rooms, activity recommendations, breakfast, chill hangout spots and most of all fabulous people !

Like many other reviewers have said this is among the best hostels I've stayed at. The staff are just unbelievably friendly and you really feel part of the family. I met other wonderful travelers and we bonded over group breakfasts outings and dinners. Would love to return, inshallah!

Probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are soooo friendly and the place is beautiful and clean. The location is also very pretty - very artsy.

Located in the nice artists' village of Djerbahood. It's easy to meet other travelers and the staff. The sea is a bit far away, but you can rent a scooter at the hostel.

I’ve stayed at 30+ hostels around the world & this hostel is easily in the top 5. The staff feel like friends - dinners together, so attentive to any needs, lots of activities to do & just great vibes. Impeccably clean & secure. Beautiful location. Without a doubt recommend staying here.

1. On arrival the hostel staff member Ghayth met ne at Wostel building only to tell me the building Is out of use due to work being done on it so led me to Dar Halloumi nearby. I was not notified of this change prior to arrival. I think the customer should be informed prior to arrival so can decide whether to cancel as I could have remained at my prior hotel . 2. Dar Halloumi is a traditional building but lacks many of the listed facilities stated on description. No garden . No tour/travel desk...

I had the most wonderful stay at Wostel Djerba. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The owners are incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly care deeply about their guests. The hostel itself is absolutely beautiful — it feels more like a boutique guesthouse than a typical hostel. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, and the space is clean, stylish, and peaceful. And the breakfast… wow. Fresh, delicious, and made with care. It was the highlights of my stay!

Great little place to stay. Very quiet in winter but the staff were fantastic. They gave me lots of good recommendations and were so welcoming! It’s very cold in the winter and I did get an extra duvet but the room did need a bit of warming! Shower in the room was simple but did the job. Other facilities were great. Location is prefect to wander Djerbahood, there’s a great market at the weekend. It’s easy to get anywhere on the island from there.

the hostel is in a very cute area and the staff offers a lot of tours. there is a big garden and also a roof terrace where you can meet and connect with people. i really enjoyed my time there

Lovely place and lovely staff! The best place to be if you want to meet people!

Everything was so nice. The hostel is in the middle of djerbahood, close to taxis. The location is beautiful and really typical. But what makes this place magical is the staff and the people you meet: we felt at home, found a lot of new friends and the island is full of interesting and amazing people. We’ll come back for sure! They even organize some excursions so that you can see a lot of places. Thank you for all, we will miss you! See you soon
