l'emplacement est parfait, c'est dommage que la cuisine ne soit accessible qu'au personnel contrairement à ce qu'on voit sur les photos. ma chambre n'avait pas d'aération et sentait fortement l'humidité.

No hostel vibe. Not nice for solo travellers. Apart of that, the hostel is ok. But the rooms were cold and there was mold in my room.

Great place, Staff very helpful with local useful tips for moving around!

Great location & very clean. The staff is nice, however they're never around. We had a private room w/ bathroom, it's basically a toilet with partition walls, no ceiling to close it from the rest of the room. The kitchen has a sign saying staff use only. Even though their photos show people using it, we were told no. The family that runs this lives on site and uses it for their personal cooking. They don't accept credit cards even though it says they do. Front door to street is always left open.

this place was exactly what we needed, clean, great location, staff was really nice. there wasn’t very hot hot water for showers if that bothers you but wasn’t a problem for us. the family that owns it were helpful for recommendations and planning tours. would recommend!!

Nice people, nice hostel

Super mooi hostel op een perfecte locatie naast plaza de armas, alleen is er niet heel veel sfeer. Zou er wel echt heel goed kunnen komen want er zijn genoeg plekken om te chillen!!

Hostal Norte is a block off the central plaza and a nice base to explore Chachapoyas for a few days.

they didn't have lockers and didn't clean the bathroom that often, besides that all good. friendly staff

Zijn heel erg positief. Moesten door de bus naar Cajamarca een nacht eerder weg en we hebben deze nacht teruggekregen van het hostel wat heel fijn was! Enige feedback is dat als we iets vroegen en de jongen van de receptie zei dat hij het ons zou laten weten, dan moesten wij het zelf bij hem gaan vragen, hij kwam niet naar ons toe.

The staff was nice and let us check in early in the morning. The room was clean but the kitchen was not as clean as we would have preferred. It was also very small and lacked proper equipment to clean pots and pans.

Location was great, ended up in a private room with my friend rather than a dorm which was a lovely surprise! The kitchen is small but has most things you need. It was a bit noisy in the mornings but overall clean and decent spot!

Great location for a hostel (1 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas) and we really loved our room (private twin room). You can very easily sign up for tours straight from the hostel and prices are really good (we signed up for Kuelap through the hostel). There isn't always staff at the reception desk so if you need something it can be quite difficult and annoying. The kitchen is a bit low on supplies. I'd recommend staying here but keep these things in mind.
