- Extrêmement déçus de cet hôtel, pourtant bien placé à Old Bank C’est la première fois que je quitte un hôtel dès la première nuit alors que nous en avions réservé 3 Nous n’avons pas pu dormir de la nuit, nous séjournions dans la chambre 2 La Clim du voisin est fixé sur le mur de la chambre à l’extérieur, et est très mal fixée, le mur, le sol et le plafond ont tremblé toute la nuit, avec un bruit épouvantable, comme si l’on dormait à côté d’un moteur de bateau, impossible de dormir malgré les boules quies Nous avons dû tenter de finir notre nuit dans les hamacs de la terrasse Nous avons été remboursé des deux nuits que nous n’avons pas fait, mais pas sur la nuit horrible que nous avons passé. Cela n’a pas eu l’air de surprendre le personnel, ils doivent louer cette chambre en connaissance de cause Je pense qu’il n’y a pas de bruits dans les autres chambres vu la note de l’hôtel, mais si vous tombez sur la chambre 2, à fuir

- El primer día llegamos y todo muy bien, muy bonito, muy amable. Nos solicitaron el transporte a Red Frog para la misma tarde y todo perfecto. Tras 4 horas de salida, nos encontramos con nuestras pertenencias en la habitación un tanto revueltas, por lo que procedemos a revisarlas. Para nuestra sorpresa faltaban 100 dólares de nuestro dinero (algo muy extraño dado que teníamos 250 dólares). Avisamos en el alojamiento, por lo que revisaron las cámaras y su respuesta fue que nadie entró en nuestra habitación en esas 4 horas. Nos dijo que denunciemos en la policía. Denunciamos y no hemos conseguido nada
+ Das Doppelzimmer war sauber und hatte AC. Wasser zum Duschen war kein Problem. Die Küche ist klein aber nutzbar. Terrasse liegt direkt am Wasser und man hat einen schönen Ausblick.
- Das Hostel ist komplett verlassen. Es gibt kein Personal oder eine Rezeption. Als wir ankamen war niemand da und die Putzfrau kam vorbei nachdem wir über booking eine Nachricht geschrieben hatten. Sie hat dann unser Zimmer gereinigt und das Geld entgegen genommen. Bis auf einen weiteren Gast haben wir während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes niemanden gesehen. Das Hostel ist generell etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Für den Preis von 40$ pro nacht bekommt man eindeutig zu wenig. Im Hostel nebenan gab es bei unserer Ankunft Zimmer für 23$ und schlechter wird es dort nicht sein…
+ Die einzigeAnsprechpartnerin war die Reinigungskraft, die zufällig da war als wir ankamen. Ihre Tochter sprach Englisch und half uns dann mit den Verhandlungen. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr erneuerungsbedürftig. Die Armaturen sind durchgerostet und Abends mussten wir den Lichtschalter auf der Terrasse selbst suchen !

+ They were good at helping with water taxis and booking tours in the area. The location was really good and out on the water.
- The kitchen was horrible, to small and to sparse for the amount of people living there (there were two forks for 8 rooms). Most of the time there was no water in the bathroom and we had to write the owners to have it turned on to take a shower. We first thought it was a mistake, but they would turn it off again immediately… we couldn’t even flush the toilet or brush our teeth. We got no explanation and no excuses as to why there was no water. The last day they asked us if we would like to switch to a downstairs room, where there would be water 24/7. We just don’t understand why we weren’t told, that there wasn’t water 24/7 upstairs, or why there was no communication regarding the matter. It would have been nice to know when there would be water, or that we had to text them 30 min before wanting to take a shower. Overall the accessibility and communication from the staff was extremely poor. Given that this is one of the cheaper places to stay in Bocas del Toro we were expecting the place to not be the best, but we were surprised at how many basic things were out of order and missing. Would not stay here again.

- Cuando llegamos no había nadie por ningún lado nos atendieron del hostal de al lado un hombre que no aprecia enterarse de nada, éramos dos y nos dieron solo 1 toalla. La habitación olía mucho a moho, cuando escriben te contestan tarde, nunca hay nadie en el hostal. Nos guardaron la maleta lo del hostel de al lado.
+ Simple. Good aircon. Nice location to explore Bastimentos - wizard beach is nice. Nice view from pier out front but all the seats were super uncomfortable
- No bar or restaurant in the property as advertised. Rooms are very basic, with gaps in the floorboards enough for things to fall through. WiFi wasn’t great. Staff were hardly around. Roach in the bathroom.

+ Location in the centre of Bastimentos. Double room with fan and bathroom.
- Room was very basic with cracks in floorboards looking on to sea very close below. Lighting in room was very poor. Fridge didn't t work, but freezer did. Jaguar next door is currently being remodeled so would offer better accommodation.

+ L’extérieur est très agréable! Chambre confortable, cuisine commune petite mais fonctionnelle et très pratique (il n’y a pas énormément de choix au niveau restaurant/ achat sur l’île). Personnel très gentil

It was super clean, as it was cleaned every day. even the bed is made for one. it was very relaxed there, the most beautiful beach is within walking distance and gut cooking in the common kitchen you could also
+ Die Zimmer waren sehr schön! Mit Liebe ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war herrlich. Wir waren insgesamt 7 Nächte da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
- Die Küche ist zu klein für die Anzahl an Gästen
The rooms were very nice! lovingly furnished. the staff was very helpful and friendly. the view from the terrace was wonderful. we stayed a total of 7 nights and felt very comfortable. the kitchen is too small for the number of guests

+ El alojamiento es muy limpio y el personal muy amable. Tiene vista al muelle.
- La ubicación es un poco lejos de los lugares turísticos y no hay mucho que hacer, ya que se ubica en isla bastimentos, por lo que hay que considerar que para llegar hay que pagar una lancha adicional de 8 dólares. Tampoco tiene agua caliente.
The accommodation is very clean and the staff very friendly. It has a view of the pier. The location is a bit far from the tourist places and there is not much to do, as it is located on island bastimentos, so you have to consider that to get there you have to pay an additional $8 boat fare. It also does not have hot water.
The staff are wonderful! Really friendly, lovely vibes. It’s so nice here to have the dock and get picked up easily by the water taxis. It’s quite simple but still nice. Only thing I’d say is that it’s really loud in the morning as there is little soundproofing, even with earplugs. I’d recommend staying here in bastimentos for sure.
+ Très bon hostel, avec espaces communs et petite cuisine plutôt bien équipée. Le cadre est vraiment top (hostel sur pilotis) et reposant. Personnel toujours présent et agréable. Rien à dire !

+ Petit hostel sur pilotis tres bien placé à Old bank ! Il y a la Clim la salle de bain est agréable et propre. J’ai adoré cette endroit très relaxant !
+ I liked that the hostel was right on the water with enough seating for guests. Room was comfortable enough, beds comfortable. AC and Wifi worked well. Walking to a small grocery. Staff us very pleasant and will help you get boat taxis etc. A visit to Red Frog beach recommended, it was beautiful and some really quiet parts. We saw a sloth, caiman and the elusive red frog.
- Kitchen very tiny, only one person can cook at a time and very hot. Thought it was quite expensive for a hostal.

+ Everything is beautiful
+ Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Hostel und haben uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und das Bad ist ebenfalls kompakt, aber alles ist ausreichend und zweckmäßig. Trotzdem ein angenehmer Ort für einen unkomplizierten Aufenthalt.
- dass es nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen gibt – also nichts für Warmduscher.
+ Hostel mit guter Lage, netter Terasse direkt am Wasser, kleine Küche in der viel gekocht wurde, Ausstattung dieser mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen, darf man keine großen Ansprüche erheben. Betten in Ordnung, Tresen wird teilweise von Volunteers betreut, die uns super Tips gegeben haben
+ L'emplacement .La plateforme sur pilotis sur l'eau avec hamacs , seulement 2 , tables , chaises est super agréable.Regarder les bateaux passer dans la mer toute la journée est super agréable . L'excursion à la journée vers l'île de Zapatilla est super intéressante .La plage Wizzar de l'autre côté de l'île est à moins d'une demi-heure.
- A l'arrivée le personnel devrait signaler qu'une toilette wc est située derrière le bureau d'accueil. Je ne l'ai appris par hasard que 5/6 jours après mon arrivée .Je devait donc monter dans mon dortoir....
