For the people who are staying short term it's a very good property with secured big locker, comfortable bed and you can securely leave your luggage for a day. Now trust the comments about the atmosphere, the only atmosphere you have are the sport team of around 15 kids hanging around the reception and eating area in the morning and evening. The kids are polite but it does become quite noisy and busy at those times. The real downside of the Hostel are the toilets, they are outside the reception
This was good for the value. The beds were quite nice, the rooms were quite spacious, but the shared bathroom was a bit underwhelming, and there weren't many available appliances to use. Overall, not bad at all!
Great breakfast!
We enjoyed our stay at NK Hostel. We stayed in a private room which was bery comfortable. The included breakfast was simple and lovely (both Taiwanese and Western options).
Great hostel, good value and friendly staff thanks for a lovely trip :)
The hostel was nice and clean. Great location, close walking distance to public transport and Rahoe night market.
Overall very happy with this place. Ideal location, easy access to get to, friendly staff, comfortable beds, belly busting breakfast, and clean environment. Only disappointments were, 1- you have to go out to the common and reception area to use the toilets. 2.- this is not a social hostel, no vibe, no western travellers, just all Oriental guests. Apart from that 10/10.
The place is great to stay for the night and go do your own thing. Really don’t expect to meet people here because the other foreigners weren’t even interested in talking. If you’re traveling solo or with somebody and have friends outside is great. Don’t think you’ll find fun atmosphere no way there’s not even an atmosphere here. Is the best free breakfast I’ve seen in 20 countries! The staff were nice I think or really good actors haha
After 3 weeks backpacking Tawian. This was the best place to end our trip. Friendly staff. And very clean!
Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Sehr nettes Personal. Leider schlecht geeignet, um sich mit anderen Reisenden zu vernetzen, da sich hier vor allem Locals und größere Gruppen aufhalten.
The facilities are amazing. The beds are lovely, the staff are helpful and the breakfast is great. The hostel is close to the mrt and has great food spots really close by. It's not the most social hostel but otherwise a great stay!
Really lovely hostel. Very clean, very quiet and relaxing. Great amenities, and one of the best showers I've ever experienced! Also very comfortable beds.
+ Nice hostel. Double bed dorms. Good privacy curtain. Warm waterfall showers. Modern toilet with cleaning control buttons. Breakfast included which is mid but acceptable. - Did charge me for a night I originally booked but couldn’t make it to the hostel despite not being fully booked, which whilst I can’t argue against maybe wasn’t in good spirit to me as a customer. Also made a big fuss about apparently giving me an extra 100 Taiwan dollars (£2.50) as change when I booked a room. Bit...
Everything for a comfortable stay in Taipei. Location is a little out of the way but not too far from MRTs and buses to major sites.
very nice hostel, but super quiet and hard to meet people
Overall great place, solo trip for a few days really liked the location. Everything is accessible from the area and it’s walking distance from a great night market. Staff were very friendly. I liked the amenities within the building.
Honestly love this place. Met some amazing people and facilities were really nice and clean
Great spot! Very accommodating during the typhoon

Truly exquisite hostel facilities. Excellent dining area with free breakfast, that I never ate. The best hostel bed and comforter/blanket I have ever had in 2+ years of hostel travel. Literally. Clean restrooms. Security downstairs. The hotel receptionists treated me with respect, gave adequate directions for the place, and had perfect recommendations for the U-Bike system, and money changing. Only downside:It is unlikely any of the local Taiwanese or Chinese people will look at you, or say hi.
