Si vous êtes un peu concerné par l écologie et la trop abondante présence et gaspillage de plastique vous êtes au bon endroit ! Enfin un hôtel qui fait quelque chose pour ça. Très bonne ambiance. Facilité pour laver sécher linge. Super salle d’eau WC chauffant …. Nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Alles schön sauber und sehr ruhig im Hostel. War gut um anzukommen, allerdings hat mir ein bisschen das Hostelfeeling gefehlt… vielleicht ein bisschen zu ruhig um Andere Hostelgäste beim Frühstück oder am Abend kennenzulernen 😊

This is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in! Not really a social hostel but it was very quiet and calming in the common area. I wish the lights at the entrance to the sleeping rooms could be turned off, because it shines into the bunks and makes it hard for get to sleep. I would have also liked the AC to get cooler in the bedrooms as I found it quite hot to sleep even without covers. Overall though, the cleanliness was crazy good so thank you for that!

This hostel was beautiful and so clean. Not a party hostel feeling, felt peaceful, calm, and quiet

This was such a great stay for me. I loved the respect for peace and quiet in the dorms, ensuring an undisturbed nights sleep for everyone. I had a friend visit and the freely available common area was a fantastic resource! My only issue was the low, Japanese style furniture setting. My friend and I love to play cards and sitting for long periods became a bit painful, not to mention the problem to get upright for me ol' bones. Staff so lovely, provided snacks from time to time. lll return soon

Everyone on staff were so kind and helpful. The whole place was very clean and up to date. Breakfast was wonderful and some of the best I have had in a hostel. Highlight of my stay was the walking tour with the sister site. Will stay again and recommend to others!

Great hostel. Everything is so clean and there are a lot of amenities, such as hair dryer, straightener, toothpaste... Very quiet, if you are looking for more of a social hostel, this is not the one for you. But other than that, this was the best hostel experience I had.

Amazing hostel was clean, nice,and cozy. The space was futuristic and set up really well as a hostel, and the free included breakfasbreakfast was great. However, do be aware that this is not a social hostel, a lot of travellers that are kinda sticking to themselves.

The best hostel I’ve stayed in! Quiet, clean, spacious, with all the amenities I needed. The neighborhood also felt completely safe and easy access to the MRT.

Amazing hotel - well designed, incredibly clean and great location

Incredible facilities, cleanliness and location. Really good for getting out on day trips and the area is really lively at night, so feels incredibly safe walking around. Vibe is very chilled, people mostly keeping to themselves - wouldn't recommend massively to solo travellers looking to meet others. But otherwise 10/10

My third time staying at Star Hostel. Will return again next trip to Taipei. Apart from the usual, each guest is provided with a basket to take all their essentials to the shower room. No more forgetting things and making multiple trips back and forth. This is very thoughtful, not seen at any other hostels. It’s the little things. Thank you Star Hostel Taipei East.

Amazing private room: spacious, clean, quiet, with a very nice shower! Very delicious breakfast with eggs, salad, fruit etc. Staff was also very helpful with information about the city and very friendly

Great spot. My only complaint was that breakfast felt a bit over-crowded/disorganized. I think creating a better system for distributing food/having the line progress would improve this a lot. Otherwise, amazing place. Very close to an MRT station (2 min walk), near shopping district if that's your thing. Everything was clean, friendly, etc.
