Youki Haus Hostel

Horrible, la “habitacion privada” era como una celda de prision, de unos 2 x 2 con una cama super incomoda arriba, las instalaciones deplorables, y puro Trans atendiendo…. No regresare nunca!!!!

Please check out the services cost. they didn't say that we need to pay for washing machine, no saing nonething. When were washing the said that we needed to pay for the washing plus dring 240 pesos (in total). we say OK, but we're going to use just the washing machine, outside a laundry service cost 110 each. The next day, when you were in the checkout, they said: you have to pay 12 USD, basically the double of the 2services: laundry and drying. we just use one service. A froud.

This is the WORST hostel I have ever stayed in. I am surprised to see the good reviews: 1. First of all, this is not a hostel, it is a house. Nothing wrong with that, but it does not have things that you would expect at a hostel 2. There is no atmosphere at all. You don't get to meet any fellow travelers, there are no tours, it's just a house with people and you just become a part of this house 3. The private room is tiny. Yes, it is private but it had almost no space at all. 4. The staff...

Nice place but mostly a cheap place to stay rather than a vibe hostel. Terrace was empty most of the time during prime season in January, and the hostel was mostly populated by families using private rooms.

This hostel was definitely not the vibe I was looking for as a traveler. It's an old slightly run down house with a bunch of people who I guess live there, the person in the bed below me had two dogs. I didn't find people all that friendly and didn't really meet any other travelers. The beds and pillows are made of that weird kinda plasticy material that is pretty uncomfortable. Spent a night at the other hostel down the road and it was more of a backpacker vibe, wouldn't stay here again.

Very clean, central, friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere, very safe, everything you need is there. I’ll definitely be back.

J'ai bien aimé mon séjour dans l'ensemble! L'auberge est bien localisée, c'est propre, les lits sont confortables et le staff est sympa. Niveau ambiance j'y ai rencontré des chouettes personnes mais c'est pas le plus sociable que j'ai fais non plus. Seul vrai bémol.. vu qu'il n'y a pas d'airco, pas le choix que d'ouvrir la fenêtre et il y a du trafic quasi toutes la nuit.. Donc si vous avez le sommeil léger, vous êtes prévenus ;)

The hostel is in an older house, but the location is at the intersection of 2 busy streets with truck and bus traffic. My single room is within just a few meters of one of them (it is on the second floor). Very noisy. With about 20 beds, two showers and three bathroom facilities seems inadequate during the morning rush when it seems everybody needs a bathroom.

Una atmósfera muy agradable y acogedora gracias al maravilloso personal, muy atentos a la limpieza y orden del hostal y dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier consulta.

Great place to chill. Location was good right near the park. Easy to get an Uber around. Bus stops outside hut i didn't use. The tours i did pick up on the same road. I had a private room bit noisey from road traffic as the building is on the corner.of two main roads. The building is old and characterful. Kitchen was small. I didn't use it but many people did. You can be sociable or not. I am not so it was perfect for me, a nice, calm stay. Id recommend if you are looking for that sort of vibe...

The staff were really helpful. They were the best. The bunks are really nice and have curtains and the hostel is very pretty. I would stay there again.

The dorm has big windows so nice and airy, pleasant roof terrace, comfortable beds, small lockers and space under bed for luggage, good WiFi, small kitchen but has what you need.

La primera noche me pusieron en la cama que no era y me tocó levantarme a media noche para cambiar de cama, el ventilador hacía un ruido como por lo viejo y eso sonó toda la noche

Le bonheur. Selon moi, l’auberge parfaite à tous les niveaux, pour un séjour mémorable à Montevideo, ville si agréable et intéressante à découvrir. L’auberge a TOUT : localisation extraordinaire à proximité de la plage et d’un magnifique parc (beau quartier, plein de restos), un petit marché d’alimentation super bien garni à moins de 50 mètres, une cuisine très bien équipée et lumineuse… La maison est magnifique, et la terrasse absolument merveilleuse Merci infi...

Loved staying here. Staff excellent, friendly visitors too. I think I would stay here again, perhaps in the summer next time (but the winter weather did not spoil my trip)
