La habitación para dos está en el jardín, se nota que hasta hace poco no era habitación y han metido un par de camas. Entra muchísima luz, no tiene ni unas cortinas. Además hay muchísimo ruido a todas horas de los perros de los vecinos. Los baños están en el edificio principal, bastante lejos.
The room for two is in the garden, you notice that until recently it was not a bedroom and they have put in a couple of beds. it comes in a lot of light, it has no curtains. plus there is a lot of noise at all hours from the neighbors' dogs. the bathrooms are in the main building, quite far away.
Thé private room meant we were in a shed in the back garden. Awful.
the hostel staff and manager are extremely rude. The staff felt unsure of my reservation, instead of asking me but cancel my reservation directly and the manager is the one rudest I have ever met! Besides, prepare yourself with the losen socket, WIFI is also a joke. Curtain is for some beds only.
Felt this place was far too basic for the money. It’s not close to any main activities. I moved to another hostel in Arequipa and it was way more central, much better breakfast and way nicer for the same price. I rarely leave reviews but felt strongly enough about this to warn other travelers.
I got so irritated sleeping here I was woken up by staff shaking my bed to wake me up at 8am when I’d booked this place to sleep in. So rude ! Plus there were always flies in the common room and showers could only go to boiling temp.
Pretty run down.. wouldn’t recommend it.
My raining coat was missing from the dorm and someone who was in the dorm before me told me that the reception found it. But I ask them several times and they just didn’t care or bother at all to find out where they left the jacket. So that was pretty annoying because someone litteraly told me that reception had it and asked if it was hers.
Nice, simple hostel not far from the centre of Arequipa. Friendly atmosphere among travellers and nice staff who can help you book Colca Canyon and other trips for a competitive price

We were a bit disappointed because someone recommended this place to us and the ratings are so good. The staff was quite unfriendly. It’s a typical big hostel where they don’t take the time and for that reason the atmosphere is not so nice. It doesn’t really have a vibe and you just don’t feel very welcome there

Really great hostel, met some cool people while staying here. Close enough to tourist sites and the building has nice nooks and crannies to chill in.

We felt really welcomed, the people were lovely, the terrasse is relaxing, breakfast was great, and the beds are confortable. We did the 2 days trek in the Colca Canyon via the hostel, the organisation went smoothly and they kept our bags at the hostel while we were gone. I highly recommend.
Staff was really helpful! I could store my luggage during my trek and come back and use the facilities after, even though I was leaving with a bus in the night.
Hostel parfait, chaleureux, très bien situé, le personnel est très friendly et d’une très grande gentillesse. Ils proposent aussi beaucoup d’activités aux alentours de Arequipa. Je recommande +++++

Pretty decent Hostel with everything you need. It's clean and spacious, even the 10 bedroom is separated in two, which makes it definitely more comfortable. The breakfast is served for everyone together, so really nice to socialize.
Mehrere Küchen und Aufenthaltsräume. Saubere Toiletten. Zimmer etwas kalt, aber dicke Betdecken. Günstig, auch die Touren. Mann an der Rezeption sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ältere Frau (Peruanerin) etwas schlecht gelaunt und motzig. Ich wollte den Nachtbus nehmen und bis 23 Uhr im Hostel bleiben, wurde aber darauf hingewiesen das ich nur bis 21 Uhr bleiben darf. Ich hab es dem Mann eigentlich vorher gesagt und dieser hatte kein Problem damit. Gutes Hostel, aber nicht perfekt.
Several Kitchens and Living Rooms. Clean Toilets. Room somewhat cold but thick Bedcovers. Cheap, also the Tours. Man at the Reception very nice and helpful. Ältere Frau (Peruaner) somewhat bad-tempered and motzig. I wanted to take the Night Bus and stay until 11 pm in the Hostel, but was reminded that I can only stay until 9 pm. I actually told the Man in advance and he had no problem with it. Good Hostel, but not perfect.
Ganz tolles Hostel. Einfach alles so, wie es sein sollte! Auch sehr liebe Menschen generell und durch das gemeinsame Frühstück lernt man sich schnell kennen.
Very nice hostel. everything is just as it should be! also very nice people in general and through the shared breakfast you get to know each other quickly.
Súper recomendable! El personal es súper amable. Está todo súper limpio. Las camas son cómodas. El desayuno es sencillo pero completo (fruta, té, café, pan, mantequilla mermelada y huevos). Ofertan tours. Hay muy buen ambiente, me sentí muy segura. A 10 min andando de la plaza principal. Como sugerencia de mejora: que haya secador y gel y champú en los baños.
Super recommended! the staff is super friendly. everything is super clean. the beds are comfortable. the breakfast is simple but complete (fruit, tea, coffee, bread, butter jelly and eggs). they offer tours. there is a very good atmosphere, I felt very safe. 10 minutes walking from the main square. as a suggestion for improvement: there should be a dryer and gel and shampoo in the bathrooms.
Really nice hostel in a good location - Walkable to Plaza de armas and mercado san milo - The dorm is spacious and clean with curtain and locker - Nice common areas and kitchen - Free yoga is provided for the guests
A pesar de que se encuentra un pelín alejado del centro (unos 7 min caminando). Me gustó bastante este hostel. La zona es segura, incluso de noche. El espacio está bastante bien aunque se nota que tiene unos cuantos años, los baños se podrían mejorar. El propio hostel ofrece tours que están bastante bien. Hice el tour de 1 día por el cañón del Colca y lo disfruté un montón. Lo recomiendo. Te atienden super bien y tienen una zona con hamacas donde puedes descansar y relajarte.
Although it is a short walk from the center (about 7 min walk). I really liked this hostel. The area is safe, even at night. The space is pretty good although you notice that it is a few years old, the baths could be improved. The hostel itself offers tours that are pretty good. I did the 1-day tour of the Colca Canyon and enjoyed it a lot. I recommend it. They take super good care of you and have an area with hammocks where you can rest and relax.
Disappointing stay but fair value for money overall though. Hostel needs an upgrade in most places, from bed curtains to common area. Free Breakfast was pretty bad, asked twice and waited ages and then didn’t seem to get much. Good price for a night and staff are friendly but isn’t the most social hostel (although I think most people are out on hikes). Some information on the area would be nice upon arrival.
I really loved this hostel, it didn’t feel overly catered for tourists but still managed to create a really homely feel. It’s not a party hostel but some people choose to go out. There are no ready lights or outlets in your beds, but this is made up for by the comfiest mattresses

Probably one of the best hostel I have been to so far ! We are warmly welcome and everything is super convenient : lots of shower, two kitchens, an efficient breakfast, everything you need to enjoy a little relax time and it’s super clean ! Congrats for the result and thanks for the stay !

A very nice, chill hostel a few blocks away from the Plaza de Armas. There are some more centrally located hostels in Arequipa, but I liked this hostel for the free breakfast, relaxed atmosphere, and very kind and helpful staff.
