The Hostel itself is not bad, but i got my clothes stolen through the window, which didnt close properly. In my opinion it is the responsibility of the Hostel to protect guests from dangers from the outside, so it is very negligent to not repair a window of a ground-level dorm. Also, the staff told me afterwards this happens frequently, but didn't think about advising anyone beforehand,and i had already spent 5 days there. Absolute No-go for Security!! Staff is also not willing to help in this.

Super loud, impossible to sleep. Music anytime of the day and night. Staff super unfriendly. Definitely not recommended

The staff was great. There was no Wi-Fi when I was there , no tv, and the hot water worked barely. But the room and atmosphere is beautiful. The music and again the staff were lots of fun

This has the potential to be a great hostel with the pool, salsa classes and yoga. However it seems that it is run for the staff rather than the guests. Only 3 of the staff members really took an interest in the guests - rarely anyone at the bar. Our room was clean and nice although there was no window. Note there are tiny frogs that make lots of noise at night but you quickly get used to this after your first night.

Nice place to stay but the cleaning was really bad. We had to ask for our rooms bathroom to be cleaned again as it was filthy upon arrival. I actually had to ask again the next day as it hadn’t been done. Also by the pool there was an unused sanity towel and used plaster on the floor for the 3 whole days we were there along with other bits. I’m really baffled as to how this area wasn’t cleaned the whole time. It just made staying there feel really dirty!

The beds in the room were dirty. when we asked to change the sheet the girl stepped on the bed with her shoes. next day they suggested us free drinks for this though, we asked for breakfast which was however very very small and very solty. the bathroom looked dirty too. also there are some frogs or something that are very loud at night. it s really super annoying

The dorms leave a lot to be desired. I was in the 5 bed and there was no room to walk because there is not a lot of space for bags but they also don’t intervene on ensuring other people keep the space remotely tidy or clean. My bunk had a ton of dirt on it falling from the ceiling. The beds were horrible, Uncomfortable, moved and creaked. Terrible pillow. Food was good and fairly priced. Not much of an atmosphere. They asked me for ID AND a deposit just for a deck of cards?

Leider waren mein Partner & ich sehr enttäuscht darüber, dass uns nicht das Zimmer übergeben wurde, das wir online reserviert & wofür wir vor Ort auch bezahlt hatten! Das Personal meinte NACH dem Bezahlvorgang, dass wir ein anderes Zimmer kriegen würden, weil alles andere belegt sei?! Sowas muss VORHER kommuniziert werden! Als wir unser Geld zurück wollten, wurden wir damit abgewimmelt, dass dies schwierig sei, da dies mit der Bank abgeklärt werden...

Había una gotera en mi cama justo ese dia llovio muy fuerte y no habia forma de llegar a la recepcion sin mojarme

Plays music so loud you can't hear yourself think even inside your own room until 11 pm. No laundry service even though it says so. Yoga only on monday, wednesday and friday at 10:30 am. Problem with hot water both days we stayed here. The rooms and common areas are nice but you can't enjoy them because of the loud music.

Everything was 10/10. Just as described. Definitely a chill relaxed vibe. Delicious food. Highly recommended. Todo estuvo perfecto. Todo igual como la descripción. Una vibra muy relajado. Comida deliciosa . Muy recomendable.

Really beautiful facilities spoiled for choice with common areas and great location. Private room was beautiful, shower could just use a bit more of a scrub and mold removal

Muy buen sitio en el centro de Cali cerca de todos lados y con buen ambiente. El personal muy amable, en especial Valentina, muy agradable y ayudando con todo. Muchas gracias!

Great hostel with great chill vibes! Good atmosphere and lovely staff. Especially Valentina at reception was very helpful and very nice :) would recommend!

Hostel La Vaina is super cool and amazingly located. The place feels very safe and offers lots of comfortable spots to sit, chill, and hang out. The pool area is relaxed and perfect for unwinding. The staff are really cool, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better (shoutout to Valentina!!! She is amazing). There are plenty of activities to choose from, so it’s easy to meet people and always have something to do. I would definitely come back

Me encantó ambas estadías en el hostal! Fueron muy amables, además que me ayudaron con mi salida en la madrugada, un gran plus que tengan recepción 24 horas. Además la comida super rica y la habitación como en las fotos, lo recomiendo mucho

I stayed at La Vaina last year and I will definitely come back to this hostel. It’s very close to San Antonio and the city center. The food is amazing, and they offer yoga and salsa classes, a pool, etc. I also want to mention the staff — Valentina, Diana, Didier, and others — the salsa teacher David, and the volunteers. They are extremely kind, helpful, and will definitely become your friends. I highly recommend staying at La Vaina ☺️

El hostel es muy lindo pero el staff no es para nada amable. Ofrecen agua caliente y café siempre pero cada vez que buscas no hay, se le pide al staff y supieron demorar 2 horas para poner agua caliente. Y en una ocasión le pedí por favor que me dejen calentar a mi porque directamente no podían poner a calentar agua, lo cual es algo muy simple y básico. Por eso me pareció mala la atención, siempre primero es un NO, cuando debiera ser siempre un SI CLARO YA RESUELVO.

Great hostel, I liked it so much I extended my stay multiple times and even came back a week after leaving! Be aware there’s no kitchen, and very little privacy in the room of 11 but the chill vibes, location, friendly staff, and clean facilities easily make up for it. There’s not loads going on but it’s perfect for chilling by the pool or in the hammocks. David’s regular, free salsa classes are good fun, and Martina organised some great nights out on the party bus and to the cabaret :))

Super Hostel, placé idéalement et très propre.

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. Amazing staff, great location close to the city centre. Everything very clean and tidy. The best food I ever had at a hostel! The bar and restaurant is simply gread and traveller friendly prices. 10/10! Would definitely come back!

El lugar estuvo bien, aunque siento que sería posible dar un poco más de privacidad a las camas compartidas, como por ejemplo separar con cortinas. La atención de la chica de salida puede mejorar
