HI Hostel Zadar

Room was smelly and hot as a sauna, but there was no AC. I couldnt sleep at night, during the day it was worse. could not lock the toilet door. No lockers. Each room has only one key. The last one leaving the room, has to bring the key to the reception.first one get it, you tell them a room number and give you the key without checking if its even your room. So when you go to bed,you have to let the door unlocked, if your roommates havent come back. Stay away from this hostel.Zero atmosphere.

Väldigt smutsiga rum, gamla sängar som nästan är sönder. Gamla påslakan. Frukost som ingår är torra bröd med en ost jag tog som var möglig. Det står att de finns wifi men det fanns inte när vi checkade in. För det här priset är det absolut inte värt det, tyvärr.

Hostel is in a community centre, our shower was moldy and then the door fell off. They also had an entire orchestra and choir group there that was practising at 7am each morning, loud enough for the dorms to hear. Odd.

Foi o pior hostel que já fiquei na vida. A limpeza eh ok mas se vc tá esperando por um hostel social vc n vai encontrar, tinha muitas famílias e grandes grupos. Me senti zero segura lá, inclusive tinha reserva para duas noites e só fiquei uma porque na noite que estive lá me senti super insegura. Primeiro cheguei no meu quarto e não tinha ngm, quando eu voltei tinha um homem muito mais velho do que eu dividindo quarto comigo, na hora fui na recepção porque por mais que no curto tempo qu...

The ceiling of the shower was bad. The paint was falling of. You only get one key with all your roommates. The problem is that sometimes the key is lost. The room was extremely hot and the fans didnt work properly (also the cort was to short). It was not extremely cheap. I would recommend to pay 10/20 euros more and search for a B&B. Than you will sleep so much better

only 1 key between 6 people for the hostel door. Got locked out multiple times. No lockers in the hostel rooms. Beds are uncomfy and the showers are disgusting. Expensive hostel :(

Spent 1 night in the hostel.. the staff were friendly and helpful.. the room was clean... I just didn't like that it was too far from center.. and that there was no wifi

Boa relação preco/qualidade. Instalações são ótimas e limpas. O pequeno almoço é maravilhoso. Pontos negativos: A internet não funciona, paguei uma taxa que nao estava mencionada no hostelworld (taxa de membership: +3€/ pessoa), bastante distante do centro.

Kein klassisches Backpacker Hostel. Teils sehr dreckig… Personal aber nett.

I loved my stay here only thing was there were no lockers. The location was okay just be prepared to take a taxi or bus to most places. There were great people staying in my room and it was clean.

Hôtel très loin du centre ville et pas de bus quasiment ! J’espère que vous aimez la marche, c’est à 1h environ du centre ville.

nice one but far away from city center

The Hostel is ca 30 Minutes away from city center pretty far but the location is still good only 3 Minutes to the beach and there are few restaurants nearby though and the staff was really friendly

Everything was okey with the hostel. The breakfast was good, not too many options but its great that they have breakfast included. I didnt like that they had no kitchen and it was more a place for really young people than for travellers

Das Hostel erinnert viel mehr an eine Jugendherberge als ein Hostel, entsprechend ist auch keine typische Hostelatmosphäre zu erwarten. Der Preis ist okay, das inklusive Frühstück absolut einfach, die Möblierung definitiv in die Jahre gekommen, kein Ventilator im Zimmer, aber soweit sauber. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, die Lage ist strandnah, bis in die Altstadt sind es allerdings mindestens 50 Minuten zu Fuß. Für ein oder zwei Nächte okay, für länger eher nicht.

Kein WiFi zu dem Zeitpunkt, weit außerhalb der Altstadt, ein Schlüssel für jeweils ein Raum, keine verschließbaren Spinde, kein schöner Aufenthaltsraum und mäßiges Frühstück, welches jeweils für eine Stunde angeboten wird.

I stayed 5 nights because I love Zadar, but the dorm room was not cleaned once during this time. The trash was never taken from the room and the bathroom got very dirty due to the shower not draining properly. There was only one key for the room also I booked a female dorm but the first nights there were also males in the room. I love the location of this place but unfortunately I'll never stay there again.

É um lugar bom se o seu foco é ficar perto das praias de Zadar. O centro está longe a pé, mas o ponto de ônibus fica em frente ao hostel e te deixa no centro em 10 min. A área comum é muito agradável e a equipe foi solicita. Uma ressalva é que não achei as instalações (como quartos e banheiros) muito boas, parecem estar bem velhas, mas fora isso atendeu ao que eu precisava. OBS: se você é jovem e quer fazer amizades, provavelmente não é o melhor lugar, é um hostel bem familiar

Je ne comprends pas avis positif sur cet établissement. Les personnes qui m’ont accueilli étaient complément incompétentes et avaient l’air défoncées. La chambre était dégueulasse. Il n’y avait qu’une clé pour les 6 personnes prévues dans la chambre avec une fermeture de l’accueil à 00h30 (il me semble) donc obligée de rentrer avant pour être sûr de récupérer la clé. Le petit dej est ok, la plage est à côté. Le centre peut-être rejoins en bus qui ne respecte pas le...

Es war alles perfekt! Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und auch sonst sind alle sehr nett und absolut hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit ist absolut gegeben. Wir hatten das Zimmer 213 mit Blick aufs Meer (6-Bettzimmer Damen). Es gibt viele Strände in der Nähe. Zudem ist die Bushaltestelle der Linie 8 in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles in allem war es eine klasse Erfahrung. Vielen Dank dafür!

Honestly would probably just go somewhere else. They had a one key per room system (even if you are in a room with strangers), which led us being locked in our room when someone else in our room left and took the key. The breakfast included was bread with an array of spreads and cereal with the option of drinks which was a nice addition. Location isn't the best as its quite far from the city centre but it is close to a really nice beach which we liked a lot. Overall not bad but inconvenient.

Good Points First: The big outside area is amazing for every time of the day. The staff is friendly, the breakfast more than okay for a hostel and you are at three(!) different beaches within a few minutes walk. Awesome! However, the WiFi did not work for the whole week I was there. The lockers in the rooms were broken, too. And it could have been a little bit cleaner in the rooms.
