St Christopher's Inn Newquay

Staff were really helpful and welcoming. Location was great super central to lots of food and drink and also the beach. No common areas or kitchen but there was a bar downstairs with discounted food and drinks, but also open to the public so it was hard to know who were travellers. Rooms were very basic with no bunk curtains and bathrooms were fine but not super clean and only one bathroom per floor. Good if you’re out all day or for a short stay.

Great location and well priced I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in Newquay. Staff are so friendly!

desperately need more toilets/bathrooms in the dorms as there's absolutely not enough. lacking in a common area unless you just hang out in the bar but otherwise decent place to stay.

Great location and I had an amazing view of Towan beach from my bed. The rooms could do with a deeper clean especially underneath the beds in the storage cages. The locks on our toilet and one of the 2 showers were broken which isn't ideal and there wasn't a huge amount of space to hang things that were wet.

The hostel was very good for a short trip, but it was very difficult to sleep due to the slamming doors. You could hear every noise from downstairs, upstairs, and the hallway. Everything else was great though!

It was difficult to climb up my bed,I nearly hit my head with the ceiling.not comfortable, Very noisy outside,it was my second time in this hostel but didn't quite enjoy staying this time. Staff need to be more friendly and helpful, I paid for the locker which was not working properly .only one bathroom each floor for too many people.

Best place to stay! Staff are amazing they work so hard and Josh is the soundest guy ! Stay here every damn time biatch

Very nice hostel with a great atmosphere, nice beach views and kind staff

Priority is the running of the bar and not the welfare of guests in the hostel from our experience there. Took 45 minutes of waiting to get checked in where we were offered a free drink if we could wait another 25 minutes because they were busy at the bar. Room wasn't the cleanest but was fine by hostel standards. Especially considering beach side ect. Cannot access lockers before 8 (or any of the bar area). Lack of water dispensing in morning was rough as everything is shut Location ...

I really like this hostel. Could have been a little cleaner and it’s really missing a kitchen but other than that it was great!

Great place for short stays! Felt really safe as room access is activated through your phone. Breakfast is good, great view aswell. Only downside is that the bathroom is really small considering there’s a lot of people in the room. Bathroom gets very dirty quickly

The locations is perfect, view from my dorm was an absolute 10/10. Check-In was easy, staff very friendly. There was someone in my bed so I took another one and no one complained. Beds are not the most comfortable but OK for a night or two. Beds, showers and even the hallway aren't for tall people tho (I'm 1.82m and it was just about ok, but you really shouldn't be much taller). Really loved Newquay!

Was a great location for surfing and close to the town center too. Showers and bathrooms however were dirty and seemed like no one cleaned them while I was there.

It was an alright stay. I stayed in March and the room was about 90 degrees all night and half the showers/bathrooms did not work so I left a day early. Staff was lovely, bar was lovely, location was perfect, just an old and outdated building and facilities.

Pretty good stay here overall. The connected bar was pretty busy during the weekend but empty throughout the week. Wasn’t here during travel season so not many other people around but facilities and staff were sufficient. Good value stay

Excellent hostel and facilities for surfing trip in Newquay. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Close to the beach, lovely sun rise in the morning. Easy access to the beach and cafes/food. Really clean, shower pressure is good. Wish there was somewhere to hang wetsuits other than shower door. Can be bit noisey before midnight. Overall a decent place for a few nights.

Love this spot. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy. It’s a great location! I like to come down and enjoy a surf every so often and this spot has got good access to the beaches with a lovely view of the bay. Emma was brilliant as usual at reception. I will definitely be coming back!
