Location is nice, close to everything but in my room there were a bed bugs on my neighbors bed. She couldn’t sleep and the emergency number wasn’t working. She got bites all over her body and had to stay up all night. After that news sleep wasn’t be nice

I thought the bar area was relaxing and comfortable. the bed was comfy . bathroom clean . I think I have been bitten by bed bugs as my right arm has some lumps . apart from bed bugs . thought was a good hostel. the 2 workers in bar were nice and friendly and did a good job . not happy been bitten but apart from that it is a good hostel

Apart from bedbugs and one broken locker the rest was good, especially the location. The rooms are exactly next to the train rails but you can sleep if you use the earplugs, close the window and be tired enough.

BEDBUGS ALERT!! During my stay at The Walrus, I found bedbugs in my bed. The staff’s response was shockingly indifferent; they simply told me to shower and change beds. With no on-site laundry, I had to travel 20 minutes to clean my clothes, wasting my time and money. The ordeal disrupted my stay, causing significant stress and sleepless nights. The overall hygiene and maintenance of the hostel were questionable. I would not recommend this hostel due to poor hygiene and unresponsive staff.

Thought it was a nice pub, until 15 minutes before close the bartender started trying to force up to put our drinks into plastic cups… at 10 minutes to close he started playing loud aggressive music, even turned it up clearly trying to get rid of people. He had plenty of time for everybody to finish up, but this was a little hasty, won’t be coming back again.
Everything was going well until we got robbed in our room by someone who was not staying at the hostel but managed to barge in and steal our stuff WHICH WERE LOCKED! it’s incredibly concerning. According the hostel it was not their fault (but let’s agree on how worrying is their security if it's possible for absolutely anyone to enter the rooms and steal valuable things…) so they didn't even accepted to refund the cost of our stay, which is outrageous. Just wanna start by saying I have stayed in many hostels. I’m not expecting a hotel nor perfection however, this place was falsely advertised. For context, we reserved an 8 bed mixed dorm. Our rooms were not at all as pictured as they were on hostelworld or on their website. We expected curtains on all beds, a reading light, common areas that were open all night (or at least past 11pm!!!), and locker space that can fit your suitcase (not even a carry on sized backpack fit). Listen, I’m going to start this by saying the staff are incredibly nice and the building itself (historic value-wise) is pretty cute. That’s the extent of the good things i have to say about this place. Our room barely had lights. If I couldn't leave stars I would.It was the worst experience of my life.Outside the q the facilities are dirty and old the bathrooms a disgust shared between H and M the kitchen is minimal and the bedrooms are dirty without light in the beds you sit and hit your head with the top bunk.My 1.50-foot-tall son stole my suitcase from inside the room.A guest.The hostel did nothing to help me and I blame myself for not having kept it in a locker.
This was one of the worst hostels I have ever visited. I genuinely cried when I realized that this was where I would be staying for a weekend. The rooms are outdated and dirty with no charging ports for the top bunks therefore everyone wakes everyone up in the time they take to climb down to turn off their phone. Lugar es muy pequeño para la cantidad de gente que alberga. Las instalaciones de baño escasas y sin limpieza. La cocina comedor muy pequeña solo puede almorzar 6 personas. El ruido de trenes terrible no se puede descansar sumado a los autobuses. El personal poco amable en especial la señorita de pelo corto y anteojos. La ubicación es buena pero no segura después de las 11pm. No vuelvo más a ese lugar. Todo el encanto de Londres se desvanecía el solo pensar que debía volver a ese lugar.
The place is too small for the number of people it accommodates. The bathroom facilities are scarce and unclean. The kitchen dining room is very small alone can eat lunch for 6 people. The terrible noise of trains cannot rest with the buses. The unfriendly staff especially the short-haired lady and the glasses. The location is good but not safe after 11pm. I never go back to that place. All the charm of London was fading away just thinking I had to go back to that place.

Gutgelegendes Hostel mit akzeptablen Betten, das Frühstück ist super simple mit Toast und Cerealien, die Duschen sind sauber wobei die Vorlegehandtücher abgenutzt aussehen. Das Personal im Pub ist eher unmotiviert. Die Karten des Pubs sind abgeranzt/Stark abgenutzt. Besonders zu beachten sind die Öffnungszeiten des Pubs, welches früh schließt. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die gut isolierten Fenster. Der Zug ist kaum hörbar jedoch wird es bei sechs Personen im Zimmer sehr warm und stickig.
Localização excelente!! Possui cozinha bem equipada, ambiente do bar agradável e como cortesia oferecido um café simples, mas delicioso. Ótima opção para curta estadia, porém há limitação de apenas 1 banheiro por andar, e se houver lotação máxima pode gerar transtornos. Para quem procura custo x benefício: nota 10!
El hostel esta en inmejorable ubicacion. Si no estas en el hostel todo el dia (natural si visitas londres), el ruido del tren no afecta. El personal es muy atento. No esta mal
The hostel is in an unbeatable location. if you are not in the hostel all day (natural if you visit london), the train noise does not affect. the staff is very attentive. not bad.

El personal súper amable , limpieza regulera …. Los baños muy justitos…. El desayuno bien … está muy apegado a la estación de tren de Waterloo y aunque te avisan de ello .. el ruido que hace el tren es exagerado…

Overall good stay! Awesome location for seeing the sights. It is right next to Waterloo it’s loud (but they were kind enough to provide ear plugs!). Stuff was super nice and nice bar downstairs! Only complaint was the bed - the sheets had stains and the bed quite literally had a permanent dip in it so it was super hard to sleep on.
Cette auberge est faite pour s'apprécier simplement avec des amis, c'est un quartier bruyant avec le metro qui passe, si vous êtes sensible au bruit je vous le déconseille mais si vous aimez vivre simplement et globe trotter Cette auberge est faite pour vous, le bar est convivial et les prix sont très bas pour londre ce qui est appréciable.

Expérience du bar uniquement et super! Bonne ambiance, jeux en livre service et boissons bonnes, pas bien chères (mais jour de fêtes donc on ne sait pas si c'est toujours le cas). Les toilettes propres et petit + agréable, des produits hygiéniques dans les toilettes ladies !
Nice free breakfast but i wish they make it fully vegan for the environment, health and the animals.
No tenía expectativas y realmente me sorprendió para bien. A 5/7 minutos andando del Big Ben. Los baños limpios y las duchas también. Volvería sin dudas.

I would go back the next time I were in Belgium. Everything is top north for a hostel. Kudos to the black guy at reception.
This hostel was incredibly well located. Staff were very helpful and the hostel had most facilities you'd want (no laundry, but did have directions to a nearby laundromat). The main issue was how close it is to Waterloo station and how much sound got through windows into the room. Trains run from 6am to midnight, which meant it was pretty impossible to sleep at those times (even with earplugs, which the hostel does provide).
El personal es muy amable y atento se preocupan porque estés cómodo, ubicación ideal puedes ir caminando a muchos sitios y tiene paradas de metro y autobús al lado, desayuno gratis variado y habitaciones en buen estado! Para pocos días repetiría sin duda !!

THE best hostel, all rooms, showers and toilets are super clean. All the staff are great, Very friendly and helpful. Amazing location literally 2 minutes from Big Ben. Would recommend to anyone visiting London.

The hostel is in a good area, close to a lot of attractions and train stations. There is free breakfast but it’s just bread and fruits. The showers and toilets are awful. In a room with so many people it gets so loud even in the middle of the night as the beds are all so close to each other. The storage lockers are mostly broken and small, and you need to bring your own lock.
