Backpackers Den

Disgusted: shouldn’t be called as an hostel. They entertain outsiders to visit the property. Usually inside the hostel outsiders are not allowed. Since Lucknow isn’t safe place allowing outsiders without keeping eye on them makes it more unsafe. I lost my valuable items since one of the outside who came to visit the property on his own without any permission stole my valuable item. Staff isn’t good to manage things here. I would suggest not to take this, and search for other hostel.

Backpackers Den est un bon hostel La chambre est bien agencée. Il y a une cuisine pour préparer ses repas si besoin et les sanitaires sont bien. L'hostel est éloigné des points d'intérêts de lucknow ce qui oblige à beaucoup marcher ou prendre des touctouc pour se déplacer. Une très bonne café, pâtisserie pas très loin : LBS café

The property is clean and overall is fine. The staff don’t speak any English which does make it tricky but but overall it’s okay as a hostel.

We stayed in the private room, it was very small but for 1500 I think it’s ok. The bathroom drain wasn’t working. It was very noisy in the night, the staff room was nearby and they were making doing some work which was very much audible in our room. Overall decent

A decent place to stay, not really a social experience, but if that’s not what you’re looking for it’s alright. Had a kitchen, single-decker beds with no curtains. Staff hardly spoke English.

Place is clean, showers are hot, location is a bit on the edge of town, staff don’t really speak English, and almost no vibe. Overall no big complaints

Like, its okay for one night. But they are really not ready for the backpacker industry. Its pretty far away from something main. It seems like it is in a housingcompartment? Was hard to communicate with staff. No water in the shower, no toilet paper, no toilet seat and very weak pressure in the bidet sprayer. It was also VERY cold. Other than that; the food was GOOD! To my surprise was their wifi the best ive had in India. Also, working big tv with all streming services in the common area. P...

This was a nice place to stay, no issues with anything. We found it slightly tricky to locate but it was dark and one of our first nights in India so a little fresh!

Very nice private room. The best I have stayed at in a hostel in India so far. Clean and tidy in a quiet area and a comfy bed. Good value for money

Decent Hostel in a middle to upper class neighbourhood, dorms with windows, ac, a wheap of warm water, helpful staff and an all over friendly atmosphere.

Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist aber sehr abgelegen, das sollte man einplanen. Spontan etwas Schokolade einkaufen oder Streetfood essen gehen ist nicht möglich.

My friend and I f*****d up and took the wrong train, resulting in us arriving in Lucknow way later than planned, in the middle of the night. Throughout this whole ordeal, we kept in touch with the staff who were super friendly and understanding. They met us at 3AM and let us check out later the next day. The room was clean and great value for the money. Would recommend!

overall it was great experience, staff was helpful. atmosphere was also nice.
