Enchanted Hostel Ocho Rios

I loved Enchanted Hostel! I couldn't have imagined a better place to stay in Ocho Rios. The location was great, the rooms had everything I needed, and I felt very comfortable. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful, and I had a wonderful stay.

bad experience. person in charge was not there. cleaning lady did "check in" . she gave me wrong room. they never gave me a key for the dorm. never again.

Der Host, Renford, kümmert sich unglaublich toll um seine Gäste. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer, das wir bewohnt haben war sauber, gut ausgestattet und hat eine A/C. Das einzige was diesem Platz noch fehlt ist eine Common Area Aber Renford arbeitet daran und hat viele sehr vielversprechende Pläne!

The location was ok, because it allows for a 10mins walk to the beach. The actual location was not accurate via Google Maps. I had to ask multiple people for directions. The mixed dorm room had both the bathroom and kitchen within the dorm. Tough convenient, they can create potential issues. Also, there was a TV in the dorm. No rules regarding when the TV could be turned on in the mornings, or lights out. There were only two staff, the owner and cleaner. The owner lives on the property.

SCAM please do not come here! well well well. I don’t even know where to start. We arrived at said destination and were greeted with an A4 paper om the wall that said “hostel” and led us to a dirty allyway. the room was decieving, 6 beds that are falling apart and dark and moist. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. there is no living room or dining area like the images in the advertisment. The location is in a good spot which I could walk to the beaches and city center. It’s has also air fans and AC options in the room. I didn’t hear any loud noises/cars in the area while I slept and it’s a calm place. Above all, l found the owner helpful and so friendly.

Renford is very kind, helpful, he extended his services to driving me around town with no additional cost, showing me nice places to have a Jamaican breakfast, driving me to the dolphin cove and the Dunn falls I am travelling as a solo woman in Jamaica, which is not always easy. He made me feel very comfortable. The rooms and toilet are clean, well organized, he offers towels and basic toiletries. The location is also quite central. Sadly, no beaches. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed...

Very nice little house that is ran but a lovely host. Renford will give you good recommendations and he is always down for a good conversation! Would recommend that place and stay again for sure

Es un hostel bueno, no esta bien ubicado pero cuenta con aire acondicionado y eso se valora en Jamaica. El precio es razonable para pasar unas noches

Ian is a great host who really takes care of the people staying in his hostel. The hostel is clean and has a good kitchen.

Big high five to the owner- Renford! He is so sweet and helpful during my stay. He gave me direct ride to the tubing place knowing I might running late for catch the last tubing ride. The room has in suite kitchen, and shower has hot water. Plus air condition in the room. Location is perfect, too! I really enjoyed my stayed at the hoste😁

Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt schon in Ordnung, aber ein Hostel kann man es nicht nennen. Es gibt keinen Gemeinschaftsraum oder eine andere Aufenthaltsfläche drinnen oder draußen, außer des Zimmers. Der Besitzer sagt er arbeitet daran, ich bin gespannt, wie es in ein paar Monaten aussieht. Dass aber mit den Bildern der Eindruck erweckt wird, es gäbe diese Aufenthaltsräume, find ich nicht in Ordnung Die Lage ist super in Ocho Rios und man wird schwer was vergleichbar preiswertes finden.

This is not a hostel. It is a room that is rented as a dorm room. The room is lovelessly furnished. The bed covers are horrible. The bathroom door is stuck. The owner wants to make a lot of extra money (e.g. trips). It is also very warm in the room No place where you can chill and socialize.

Really comfortable hostel, Renford – the owner – is the nicest person ever! We felt safe and had an amazing stay :)
