Casa Carpedm

Not good, not recommend.

This property closed under construction/ renovation, I put a neutral scores since I don’t stay in this place. Booked this hostel and they put me in different hostels, currently the owners act as travel agents helping tour arrangements and etc which they did a good jobs. Hope this property can be in operation again, nice location and they know how to give an extra services helping the travelers..

The staff were excellent, very accommodating. The first room I stayed in was clean and comfortable albeit a bit small. The bathroom was functional. The food was excellent and very well priced. Unfortunately the second room only had one window which opened on the stairs and we couldn't open it due to noise from people coming in/ leaving early for trips. Also the bed was so squeaky that even the slightest movement resulted in so much noise that sleeping was pretty impossible.

It’s a very nice and calm yet sociable hostel. From the terrace you have a great view over Quito. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. I felt very at home in this house.

Casa Carpedm was my first stop on a 3-month solo travel. I couldn't have picked a better place to start. The hostess went above and beyond to make sure that I had the best possible experience in Quito.

Such an amazing place to stay! Extremely hospitable staff that ensure you are completely comfortable over your stay, in a prime location of Quito, and a beautiful rooftop terrace to enjoy your surroundings. I could not have asked for a better place to enjoy my stay in Ecuador.

I loved this place! The owner was absolutely lovely, she was very communicative on Whatsapp. She helped with pick up and drop off from the airport. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was so nice, with a rooftop view of the city. If you are looking for a hostel where you will meet a lot of people, this isn't it. It is quiet and there weren't a ton of guests.

I just love Casa Carpedm. It is just like a family. It was my second time here and I will definitely return.

Lovely hostel with amazing staff. Unfortunately I got ill when I first arrived in Ecuador and the staff really went above and beyond and took great care of me.

We had a really great stay at Casa CarpeDM. The staff were so lovely and helped us out with everything we needed. The food provided was also delicious. Although Quito itself didn't feel like the safest city, the staff did everything they could to make sure we were kept safe so we never worried about that. Would definitely stay again!

Not good, not recommend.

Incredible accomodating English speaking staff, hot water, comfortable beds with plenty of blankets, good location. Kitchen is nice and the 3rd floor kitchen area has a beautiful view of the city. One night the hostel organized a free dinner where everyone cooked and ate together and that was a lot of fun too. Would strongly recommend and this is where I stay when I'm in Quito.

Fantastic hostel, great first stop in south america. the lovely hostel staff made me feel incredibly welcome and valued, which was fantastic after a long flight. a safe, quiet, homely hostel to spend time. would recommend!

Very friendly staff

Really nice hostel. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and it felt more like a hotel, it had an onsuite and they provided towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect if your looking for a quiet place to stay.

Nice hostel. Staff are friendly and take the time to go through recommendations for Quito for you. The rooms are clean. I did notice there is now a charge of $4 for breakfast so its not actually free as it states on here which was disappointing. Im not sure if its to do with the time of year but it was also super quiet.
