El Eden Minca

We loved our stay at El Eden! The place is situated in such a beautiful spot above Minca, so it’s possible to walk or mototaxi into the centre, whilst being within walking distance to some of the area’s beautiful hikes, waterfalls and river spots. Liz and her husband were wonderful hosts - we enjoyed the tiramisu freshly baked goods and they were always very communicative, checking in to see whether we needed anything. There terrace is perfect for sunset. Would stay again!

We loved this place. It was easily the best hostel on our trip in Colombia. The couple that run the place live there and are very kind and helpful. It’s a bit of a walk to Minca (about 15 minutes) but the gain is a beautiful view in all directions. I loved my mornings drinking coffee on the deck watching the sunrise and evenings in a hammock drinking wine and watching it set. This place is quiet and less social than other hostels but that just lets you hear all of the birds and nature!

Ein absolut schöner Ort. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Aussicht ist zu allem Seiten atemberaubend. Die Atmosphäre im Hostel ist ruhig und herzlich. Das kolumbianische Pärchen welches das Hostel leitet, ist sehr nett und gibt hilfreiche Tips und Empfehlungen. Man kann tolle Wanderungen in der Gegend machen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Dschungel, Vögel, genialer Ausblick , Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergangsterasse, hab mich sehr wohlgefühlt, ruhig!

stayed for three nights and that was plenty. we were the only guests. Not really a social hostel. nice hosts and great views. not bad by any means just a bit isolated.

Loved it, very beautiful.

Very nice, small hostel with great views up the mountains and down to the city. It's a short walk out of town, and quiet and serene at night. It's not a social hostel, but there's hammocks to chill in during the day. There's no restaurant, but there's a kitchen and they do serve breakfast - for other meals they'll help you order delivery or there's an incredible restaurant and pool at the hotel/hostel across the street you can use. Very friendly and helpful staff helped us book a taxi, too.

Sehr gutes Hostel, extrem heftiger Ausblick (in zwei Richtungen!!), sehr friedliche Atmosphäre, Personal super nett and hilfsbereit (Grüße an Reina :D)

Zwei grandiose Ausblicke ... einmal Richtung Karibik, die andere Richtung Sierre Nevada. Gegenüber gibt es La Veranda mit tollem Pool und super, auch günstigen, Cocktails ... Restaurant ebenfalls gut. Ein toller Platz!

Highly recommend this little gem if you want to enjoy the peace and serenity of Minca. The views are exceptional, breakfast delicious & healthy and the lovely couple who run the place make you feel at home. Nothing is a bother. They also helped us reach the hostel from Santa Marta via taxi (ask for Goyo - he’s a gem!). Laundry and restaurant also available.

WOW 🥰 Normalerweise schreibe ich keine textliche Bewertung. Aber die Unterkunft samt Hosts (Danke Liz für alles) waren unglaublich. Einfach wundervoll. Ich komme sicher wieder.
