Hostel Mandala Anjuna

Check in was a nightmare. Arrived around 1130PM. Hostel security guard didn't let me walk into the reception area. He had to call his boss to verify that I made a reservation. Boss took forever to find my reservation then hung up. Upon checking in the staff barged into the 4 person room, turned on the lights and gave me a very loud tour. Having no regard for the guest. I had to apologize to each of them the next morning. Had to force staff to give me a sheet and turn on the ac.

It was a bit dead to be honest. The staff is just there to do check ins and security. Nothing going on. Did not get the chance to meet anyone. The area also is not the best… but the hostel does the job if you just go there for clubbing or similar.

nice hostel. directly on the party street, so very intens location. Met some amazing people amd breakfast is amazing. You should really order breakfast there

Great staff and a cute little hostel where you can chill in the rooftop with a look at the sea. All the area was quiet in January and things close early.

Absolutely Perfect. I cannot recommend more highly. If you are looking for a calm, friendly, tranquil hostel located in the perfect location of Anjuna then Mandela Hotel is perfect. Mandala Hostel is kept super clean, the staff are always friendly and always trying to make your stay perfect. Thank you for helping me create so many happy memories

Cute little hostel, great room that was spacious and comfortable. They did miss a couple of items in our laundry but we found them on the line outside. Also their taxi driver (organiser, the actual drivers were lovely) was a bit pushy/rude demanding late night fees, tips and asked for a higher price than hostel said.

If you are looking for a peaceful clean place to relax, this is the right place for you. Location is very close to Anjuna beach and restaurants, pubs. There is an in house cook and I loved the food, coffee,tea prepared by him. There is a beautiful sea view from terrace, where you can enjoy the sunset and sunrise.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Amrit is the best cook in the world, and Mala is super nice and always very, very helpful. Akki, the owner, has created a truly fantastic hostel. The cleanliness is a 20 out of 10! Highly recommended for those who don't want a party hostel. I would definitely stay there again. 🙏🪬

I stayed at a hostel in Anjuna Goa and it turned out far better than I ever expected. I stayed at Hostel Mandala from 20–24 Nov during my Motoverse ride. Reached late from Pune and Akki, who manages the hostel, ensured a smooth check-in. The staff was great—helpful cook, polite security, and attentive housekeeping. The place is peaceful, clean, and perfectly located near the beach, top restaurants, clubs, and cafés. Loved the terrace sea view and meeting travellers from around the world. Highly recommended!

Overall it’s a great place

I spent so much more time than expected in this hostel. It is quiet, clean and very reasonable on the price. The breakfast is also pretty cheap when you compare to rest of the restaurant around. Thank you Komal for everything 🙏🏻

I cannot rate this hostel more highly. Staff super friendly and super helpful. They keep the place immaculately clean. If you are looking for a party hostel Mandala is not for you. But if you are looking for a hostel that’s peaceful, an Oasis away from the hustle and bustle this is definitely the place for you. I noticed one guest from the YSA gave this hostel a 2. I met him. Heading to Anjuna? Stay at Hostel Mandala! Chill vibes, great people, and just a 2-min walk to the beach. Super duper clean, cozy, with awesome common areas-garden, terrace, and lounge spots. Fast Wi-Fi for remote work! The Staff? Amazing-always helpful. Simple but delicious breakfast & the cutest resident cat - Dusty, who might just steal your heart. Security is great, with lockers & night guards. Perfect for solo travelers, digital nomads, or anyone looking for a great stay. 11/10 Recommend!

The hostel is in a very good location, many restaurants nearby. A 20 minute walk to Anjuna beach. The staff were lovely, gave lots of recommendations for our stay. The complimentary breakfast is home cooked and it was really tasty! They have a laundry service at the hostel which is very convenient. The all female dorm has a key pad for a code which makes you feel safe and they also have a security man in the night. Overall a very nice stay.

it was a lovely stay at Hostel Mandala. It was my first time doing a trip solo and each and every day was an experience of a lifetime, all thanks to the people I could socialise due to the Hostel. The location of the hostel is very strategic with regards to proximity to beach, shacks or any bars and shops. Food and rooms are also nothing to complain about. One thing what me and my mates thought would have made this better was if there could be games or events organised.

Had a great stay at Hostel Mandala. Between great staff, clean rooms and amazing location, everything was perfect!

High rating of Mandala is absolutely worth it. + Great location (next to purple martini), close to beach and many hangs + Fantastic reception and staff with Komal and team + Great home made food by Amrit bhaiya + Very clean, hygienic and aesthetic + Great terrace and yoga classes sometimes And overall very well managed given owner also stays on site Lesser to none hostel led activities in case that’s your interest
