I would not recrecommend booking this hostel. not clean, not organized and unfortunately an overall terrible experience
no locks on the rooms or the front door so anyone can walk it. didn’t feel safe as a female traveller
Absolute scam. Do NOT trust Rouge for anything. Not for a hostel or for an adventure. They are dishonest and fraudulent. We were moved hostels 3 separate occasions despite booking months in advance. Terrible company that needs to be removed from Hostelworld
Do not stay here!! We booked a single, they told us there was a problem with the room so we were taken to another raid, which was horrible so we asked to stay in a dorm for one night and then switch to an open single the next day. Pillow in dorm had bugs in it, single was DISGUSTING, chewed gum on the headboard, flooding from outside, stained towels, hard as rock bed, ac broken, shower, sink and toilet didn’t work, then they charged us the full amount even though we already paid €10 on HW!!
A bit shabby, run down. Loud . Booked 5 nights fled the place after 3 nights. Way overpriced for private room. I moved to Riad Sun Week and it was a luxury compared to Layla Rouge.
I honestly don’t know how this hostel has such high rating. The rooms are musty, dark and smell horrible. The door doesn’t even close, making it super noisy all night. The bathroom in the dorm is dirty and the door starts 2 foot up from the ground, so it stops absolutly no noise or odor when closed. Also incredibly hard to find. On a good note, the breakfast was good and the rooftop is nice.
Arrived late at night and the owner wasn’t there to check us in. Tried to call but had to wait about 15min until he came back. He checked us in and said we had to stay at another one of their hostels (also you pay in cash so make sure to take cash). Then we got given a room on the top floor of the other hostel. Room itself was fine however had no working WiFi :( overall it was ok however we have just moved to equity point which is WAY nicer. Breakfast was nice
Listing states that food and drink are available and that they offer breakfast. Neither are true, at least during my visit. I was forced to pay cash and charged 40 Euro more that the rate I was quoted on this website.

Hamza and Azzedin are the best
Had great stay - Hamza and Mohammed were both great staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everything was good.
I spent a night here at Riad Layla rouge , and everything was fine. The location was very good, the place was clean, and everything was in order.
The hostel was really comfortable, it is near everything in Marrakech that is popular. It is a bit hard to find, but once you got it, you're good. Azeddine, the host, was a huge help and really kind with us. Overall, I recommend the staying
Had a great time at this hostel, so much so that my fiance and I have booked another stay for later in our trip. The house is clean and spacious, rooms are comfortable and secure and the location is very central but down quiet alley so away from the hectic part of the Medina. Azdin the manager was super helpful and charismatic and made getting situated and orientated a breeze. Value for money and definitely recommend.
The Hostel is in the Centre and has a really nice atmosphere. Azeddine was really kind and helpful on finding nice locations in the city!We were really happy with our stay and would definitely come back :))
The Hostel is amazing. It is right in the centre of the town, so where the markets are. The guy who runs it - azeddine is really welcoming and nice. We hung out with him a lot. And the rooftop and the view from up there is amazing aswell. I‘d definitly come back.

The hostel was fine, super well located and the best 360 view from the terrasse. Note that it is a very small hostel (1dorm of 6b +rooms), and that the team and the equipment do the job, without blowing you away. A solid 8 but not 9+ at all (from a long time globetrotter). Staff 24/7, friendly with fine guidance, but a bit disinterested (we warned them that the light in the stairs was broken for days and by the last my mother felt and hurt herself). Dorm almost open on main area, expect som nois
Me and my friend had an amazing experience here. Azeddine and Mohammed were super friendly and incredibly helpful. They helped us with anything we needed, gave good recommendations, and overall made it the best hostel experience we've ever had. The hostel itself was very nice, good facilities and the workers made everything easy. If you're staying in a hostel in this area, stay here.

perfect location, good vibe, nice rooftop, friendly and available staff specially Mohamed always ready to help
Had a lovely stay- Mohammed took really good care of us and made the start of our trip around Morocco super memorable! The riad is good value for money and in a quiet area of the Medina. Would recommend for travelers :)
Lovely staff and great atmosphere in the hostel and 5 mins from the square, i have been in very many hostels and dont say anything negative as they are what they are, an inexpensive stopover for likeminded travellers . I will however say the beds are not comfortable and there is nowhere to put or organise your bags other than on or under the beds so more storage would be advantageous and i found the toilets and showers also quite dirty, and mould is apparent. The breakfast was not for me
It was perfect
