When I arrived it was locked, still warning that I was arriving at 11pm, I had no sign of anyone less badly than there was one next door 24 hours
Kind hostess, but located on a dark street near the outskirts of town. Did not have a credit card reader or any soap. Had to ask for toilet paper multiple times and for permission to use the host’s fridge. Kitchen cluttered and messy. Doorbell extremely hard to find and other residents also struggled to get an answer at the door. Lots of cats!
The good: beautiful third floor patio with views of the ruins, comfy common spaces, very clean throughout the hostel, WiFi worked well The not as good: Issues with showers (you can only shower at certain times of day and the water was never hot for me), breakfast was just some bread with butter and jam and always served at least 20 minutes late, you can only use the kitchen to boil water, no hand soap provided in the dorm bathrooms IMO not worth the cost given these issues
A chegada no hostel já foi confusa, a dona não sabia em qual quarto colocar e avisou por cima que não tinha água por um período. Já era passado das 17h e ainda teríamos que esperar mais 2 horas, então fomos jantar. Assim que voltamos, ela começou a apressar pra tomar banho, sendo que passamos o dia inteiro na rua fazendo trilha. Achei bem desrespeitosa, além de não ter explicado a situação. Camas bem desconfortáveis também.
Arrival at the hostel was already confusing, the lady didn't know which room to put and announced above that she had no water for a period. it was already past 5pm and we would still have to wait another 2 hours, so we went to dinner. as soon as we came back, she started to rush to take a shower, and we spent the whole day on the street strolling. i thought it was quite disrespectful, besides not having explained the situation. very uncomfortable beds too.
Personnel très accueillant ! Emplacement idéal. 2 bémol : il faut annoncer quand prendre sa douche pour avoir de l eau chaude , papier toilette absent à demander y compris dans les espaces communs.
Very welcoming staff ! ideal location. 2 bémol: you must announce when to take your shower to have hot water, toilet paper is not available to request and even in common areas.

Good for one night and let us store our bags there for Machu Picchu, however the shower wasn’t hot, and the bathroom a bit dirty. Also be careful as payment is only in cash which we weren’t aware of. Staff were helpful with advice though
Tres bien comme hostel,a 3 mn à pied du centre. L’hôte est très sympathique, notre linge a été lavé pour 25 soles. Pas de petit déjeuner et on nous avait dit que lemon pourrait prendre un café mais il k my en avait pas, ce qui n’était pas un problème car au coin de la rue sur la place il y a un petit resto très sympa qui nous faisait notre café
Tres bien como hostel, a 3 min walk from the center. The host is very friendly, our laundry was washed for 25 soles. No breakfast and we were told that lemon could have a coffee but he didn't have one, which was no problem because on the corner of the street on the square there is a very nice little restaurant that made us our coffee
Vista impresionante sitio arqueológico. Limpio. El ruido del mercado a unos metros y de gritos en cancha fútbol día y noche. Ventanas no aíslan el ruido.
View of impressive archaeological site. Clean. The noise of the market a few meters away and of screams on the football field day and night. Windows no aislan el ruido.

Fantastic hostel that we would recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms were very comfortable, had a beautiful mountain view and the owner is so friendly and helpful. The dog and cats are sweet too! Only small downside for us was we were out too early to have breakfast each day (but there are a lot of pandaderias nearby!)
Super chill vibe, breakfast included. The lady behind the reception loves to make a chat and gives advice when you need it!

absolutely amazing!! highly recommend staying here the views are absolutely jaw dropping and with hammocks?!?! There are also two very sweet cats, a cutie dog, AND a horse!! Duh get that free animal therapy session:)
I LOVED IT HERE! our experience was so positive, clean, easy, and welcoming! Wish we could have spent more time here! Plus the animals are so sweet!!!
My friends and I absolutely loved this place! This was my first experience with a hostel, and it felt very homey located in the most beautiful location. The staff was extremely friendly and let us hangout with the pets!

Excelente hostal. Cuidado, limpio, se nota que están en los detalles. La ubicación es muy buena y tiene una terraza con excelentes vistas. Me sentí muy segura y cómoda, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Ruth (encargada del hostal) que sumamente amable conmigo en todo momento. Además la propiedad tiene dos gatitos y un perrito re amoroso, que le dan el toque de hogar. Lo recomiendo!
Excellent hostel. careful, clean, you can tell they are in the details. the location is very good and has a terrace with excellent views. i felt very safe and comfortable, i had the opportunity to meet ruth (hostel manager) who is extremely kind to me at all times. plus the property has two kittens and a loving puppy, who give it the feel of home. i recommend it!
One of the most homey and inviting places I stayed at in Peru. It was warm with nice cats and the owner was a very nice lady. If you are looking for socialization-you should probably just skip sacred valley haha. But if you just want to explore then this is a very nice place to spend 2 nights in and we're very glad we did it. The place had a nice living room area and some hammocks on a rooftop upstairs. Ollyantaytambo is very small so no complaints about location.

I find it really cozy here! it just doesn't go so well and there are no lockers!
The woman who hosts this place is amazing. She knows all about the pooular things to do and also the more off the beaten path things, and recommended excellent food. Two dogs and two cats live there and theyre all very sweet. The only thing not perfect is the showers, but to be fair, it sounds like that is the case in every place in Ollantaytambo. I would definitely stay again!
Friendly and super helpful host with beautiful dogs and cats. The room and bathroom was spacious in the 4 bed dorm with comfortable beds. Host even directed us to a medical center where we got our Yellow Fever jabs for free and allowed us to leave our bags for when we went to machu pichu. Diez Estrellas
