Hostel Antique

For a hostel that big with that many guests, it's not acceptable not to have locks on the dorm rooms and in the showers. As a woman, it's the first time I have ever seen this and felt unsafe coming to my room knowing anybody could come in at any time of the day. It's the same in the bathrooms, no door with locks, just a thin curtain in the showers 😩.

Hostel location was good and the kitchen was large and well-stocked but I expected more for the price. Bathrooms were filthy and smelled bad. Room doors never locked. No social vibe at all and hostel staff always in the kitchen cooking or wandering about

For a cheap overnight stay, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay much longer. Services seemed exorbitant, cooking equipment was rough, but all in all it is a hostel, and staff were nice enough- not a very social vibe at all

Great location and spacious rooms. I didn’t find the bedding or pillows super comfortable, and the bathrooms weren’t overly clean. Overall, a good place to stay for a short time.

Looks great in the pictures but unfortunately I think the refurbishments were rushed - floors,doors and door handles are very creaky. The kitchen is huge which is necessary as it's quite a busy hostel. Showers lack pressure there is a constant musty smell. It's a good hostel for a short stay but not one I'd return to in a hurry! The beds are extremely comfortable

Overall decent Hostel, the location is amazing and the beds are very comfortable. But the atmosphere is very unsocial and quiet, and the kitchen is not that well equipped (lack of basic ingredients like salt and oil). The bathrooms also weren't great and always had a smell.

The hostel was alright but it didn’t quite exceed our expectations. The vibe was a little off and it wasn’t much of a social place. Showers flooded the bathrooms, and there was no air conditioning there so everytime someone took a shower, the room became super hot and humid. Our room floor was also super squeaky and everytime someone walked in the room, the bed moved. That was super annoying. The hostel location was very good, the staff was friendly, and bonus points for the ac in the dorm...

everything was fine, HOWEVER, the reason why i booked this hostel and female dorm was so that i could at least get some sleep. i always prepare with earplugs and etc. but i was negatively surprised when I realised that the beds SHAKE each time when someone walks near (opposite side of room too), made me feel panicky and anxious. the floor is ?? and looks like it has water trapped underneat. slept 4 5 hours max a night during my stay. everything else was okay.

Best place for location, all facilities like kitchen available. Easy to excess the main monuments; arena, fort, old market, temple of Augustus, street food. If you have budget i would recommend

Expected more based on reviews and price. The dormitory doors don’t lock meaning anyone can come in at any point, this led to loud conversations in the room overnight. Bed curtains are two separate ones per bed, meaning gap in the middle where people can see in. Showers only had a curtain and not a door, it was slightly see through. Showers also not mounted overhead so they’re a pain. Bathrooms smell. Cleaners hoovered at 10:00am. Near very loud outdoor after party during film festival til 2...

A very clean and comfortable hostel, located in a quiet street close the tourist centre. I would not hesitate to use again!

Overall stay is super nice, great facilities with complete things inside. Friendly and accommodating staff, I have nothing to say maybe just add a nice scent in the WC but still really clean to use. I may recommend this to others.😀

Lovely place and nice staff, especially that they let me check in early. It was in January so there were more of the staff living there than guests but I am sure the Hostel comes alive in the summer. Good location as it is near the old town but keep in mind that it's a good 30 minutes walk from the main Bus Station. Close to the local bus stop though.

Great kitchen space. Large, clean and good for use. Could use more utensils, pots and pans, large glasses. Stuff were very friendly and helpful. Property seemed well maintained. Bathrooms could use some maintenance but were decent. Other travelers were friendly and social. Would stay again.

Great hostel, very quiet out of season but rooms are nice, love having a curtain. And the bathrooms are good too

Great place, stayed their twice now. Only note is one of the men’s bathrooms on the 1st floor smells a bit like death.

Great facilities! Seemed quieter. Central location and close to the amphitheater.

Really clean hostel, with a really nice kitchen and places to chill. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. It’s not the most social hostel, but still I had a great stay. Staff is nice and has good recommendations on beaches and sights.

It was a great location beds were very comfortable and had curtains on them as well.

Spacious private rooms, better than many hotels. It would be nice if there was a good place to put your clothes while in the shower. The kitchen area was great, but there is no other common room. Therefore, it is not great for solo travelers wanting to get in touch with others.
