We could not sleep. It was way to hot to sleep in the room as the ventilator did not help anything. There are no bars in front of the window so it seems a bit dangerous to leave the windows open at night. Hotel has a roof of glass but apparently no windows to cool the common areas down. No purified water. Would not stay again.

Attention San Miguel est vraiment un hôtel et non pas une auberge de jeunesse ! Les chambres ne sont pas partagées. Il n’y a pas vraiment d’espaces communs et ce n’est pas propice à faire des rencontres. Si c’est ce que vous cherchez ce n’est pas le bon endroit. Par contre comme hôtel il est très bien. Calme, propre, bien situé. Le restaurant propose des petits déjeuners vraiment délicieux. Possibilité de réserver des excursions directement depuis l’hôtel.
Attention San Miguel is really a hotel and not a hostel ! The rooms are not shared. There are really no common areas and it is not conducive to meeting. If this is what you are looking for this is not the right place. On the other hand as a hotel it is very good. Quiet, clean, well located. The restaurant offers really delicious breakfasts. Possibility to book excursions directly from the hotel.

Geweldige plek om mensen te ontmoeten en te ontspannen. Vooral onze host Mica kon ons erg goed op weg helpen met onze vragen.
It was a great place to meet people and relax, especially our host Mica, who was very helpful with our questions.
Incroyable!! Personnel très accueillant et serviable, emplacement parfait pour aller visiter la ville et les Miradors du Canyon de Sumidero (le collectivo 69 passe devant l’hôtel!), un prix défiant toute concurrence ! Tout était très propre. Nous avions eu un dortoir pour 3, les lits les plus confortables qu’on ai eu, 3 ventilateurs différents dans la chambre, des rideaux occultants pour le jour, une fois les fenêtres fermées on entends plus le bruit de dehors… c’était vraiment ...
Incredible!! very welcoming and helpful staff, perfect location to visit the city and the Miradors of the Sumidero Canyon (the collective 69 bus passes in front of the hotel!), a price that defied all competition ! everything was very clean. we had a dormitory for 3, the most comfortable beds we've ever had, 3 different fans in the room, occulting curtains for the day, once the windows are closed you can no longer hear the noise outside... it was really perfect !
