Hostel at Galle Face

+ 任何时候员工态度都不行，斯里兰卡礼貌的印象就此破灭。不如加勒。后来我在加勒住了几天。

- 不满意，员工居然骂人，shit，我游玩了世界各地，第一次遇到这种情况！起因，仅仅是洗手的时候弄了点水在地上，这很正常。

- Non c'erano sistemi di sicurezza, poteva entrare chiunque, luogo sporco con sangue sulle lenzuola e sporcizia in giro. Garantito dormitorio femminile invece al nostro arrivo troviamo un uomo nel letto che russa.

- The man at reception ( manjular or whatever his name) was racist. I asked him to give us a dorm room with more girls but he gave us a room with all old weird men saying 2 men are from India (like who cares). After 1 hr, 2 new foreigner girls came & he gave them the other dorm with all girls so we again requested to change our room but he said all booked. Again, he told us to use the small washroom ( in stalls) while showed the foreigner girls to use the bigger washroom in laundry room. While checking in, I requested him to give us a bed first since I wasn't well ( felt like I'll fall) but he made us wait and kept on saying, "silence madam, cool down madam".

+ The staff here is very rude. At 10am, he told me that I needed to check out and leave at 11am. If I exceeded the time, I would have to pay extra. When I went to wash my face, the staff was disgusted that I stepped on the ground. In short, he just wanted money. This is a particularly bad staff.

- This hostel is a scam. I booked this hostel because it has female dorm room, and female dorm room is one usd more than mixed dorm room. When I arrived, they charged me female dorm room price, but gave me mixed dorm room. I requested to give me female dorm room, they said they don’t have female dorm room, which is contradict with the information on booking.com and the room I booked. After I requested, they returned me one usd, but it’s not about money, one usd is really nothing. If you don’t have female dorm room, you can’t put the female dorm room in the booking to attract female solo traveler, and you can’t without any explanation and apologies to charge female dorm room price, but give mixed dorm room to customer. The hostel only apologize after customer complaint. I felt very uncomfortable to in a room with three male and I am the only female. The hostel should improve their customer service and change their mindset to do honest business. The hostel is under construction, it’s not ready to open to public, it has a lot of noise because of the construction. The shower room space is very limited and inconvenient, you cannot have a shower.

+ Booked this hostel for conference delegates who complained about the poor conditions of the accommodation facilities provided. Some did not even stay the night and found other accommodation.

- I’m very disappointed with the service recieved for many reasons: - The previous days i was trying to contact with them on booking app but nobody answer me. - First day when i arrived late in the evening 8:15pm i was waiting 50minuts for theme, nobody replay the phone (thats is written on the door) - The staff dosen’t speak english so how they will offer information or help to your guest? They spend all day in the common area watching the TV - uncomfortable beds and they don’t change you the sheets in 5 days. - It’s plenty of ants so yesterday i couldn’t eqt mu fruit for dinner because the ants where on the table in 5 minuts. - 2 nights at 4:10am and and last night at 5am they wake me up for the check-in of a guest. - I wrote an e-mail to the owner explaining him al the inconvenience but he dosen’t care about it, he never answer.

+ The place was awful, dirty, noisy and smelly.

- The bathrooms were awful, the showers were full of mold and mosquitos. Disgusting. The rooms were tiny and it was not a social or welcoming place. The building seemed like it was falling to pieces, and between the construction works and the nearby clubs/hotels’ music it was incredibly noisy. The staff was almost invisible and not communicative.

+ Ideale plek voor een verblijf in Colombo. De locatie is goed gelegen, uit de drukte maar alles is op loopafstand goed te doen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook de faciliteiten zijn goed en schoon!

- Het is jammer dat er geen ontbijt oid is. In de buurt gaat alles pas rond 10/11 uur open waardoor je in de ochtend niet echt makkelijk een ontbijtje kunt scoren. Verder niks niks op aan te merken!

+ Dortoir et salle de bain corrects, propres. Eau à disposition et petit salle commune avec canapé

- Le personnel m'a donné des mauvaises infos pour me rendre à l'aéroport en m'incitant à passer par un de leur contact alors que bus et train fonctionnaient. Pas possible de laisser un bagage quelques heures sans supplément.

+ I liked that the staff is very accommodating even when we arrived late already. The room was very clean and comfortable to sleep. The bathroom was very clean as well, you can really tell they made effort to make their hostel comfortable to the guests.
