+ L’emplacement. Le hall de l’hôtel.
- Dès notre arrivée à l’hôtel, personne pour nous accueillir. Nous sommes restés seuls dans le hall durant 30 min. A 20:30, pas de concierge, pas de personnel, pas de clients. Nous étions complètement seuls dans ce hall à attendre que quelqu’un arrive. Nous sonnions sur une espèce de cloche mais en vain. Niveau accueil ZÉRO! (Pour un 4 étoiles soit disant). Une fois le concierge arrivé, sans aucune excuse de sa part, il nous accompagne à notre chambre qui ne correspond pas à notre réservation.Nous avions réservé l’unique chambre possédant un magnifique balcon extérieur (chose rare à Malte) avec une très belle vue et deux beaux transats (réserver 3 mois avant), 420 euros la nuit quand même!!!Le concierge nous dit que la chambre avec Balcon avait été attribuée à quelqu’un d’autre. Qu’il ne restait plus que celle là avec la vue, et qu’il n’y avait pas d’autre choix. Sauf que le balcon faisait 30 cm de large. Disposant d’une réservation très claire, nous avons décidé d’en parler à la direction, qui n’a fait aucun effort. Nous avons demandé pendant deux jours à parler au propriétaire qui ne nous a jamais rencontré.Booking a dû prendre les choses en main à défaut d’accord. Donc je ne le conseille pas!!!! Ce n’est pas un vrai 4 étoiles et ce n’est pas un établissement sérieux.
- We checked out after the 1st night It was described with air con but on arrival the rooms were excessively hot and were told it is a centralised system My wife has a medical condition where she needs to sleep with cold air con :-((( they could not accomadate They said they change it in December to April ….. it was the no 1 reason for selection
informed manager of my intention to stay many days, she suddenly told me she already rented the room, coz' I didn ' confirm...in the middle of the night! I believe it was a trick to have me rent another room with bathroom, although a shared bathroom was fine for me. She also asked to pay in cash (because according to her, the commission fees were to high by credit card, probably because she's Indian),and could changeommended me local restaurants but didn't want to risk food poisoning.Terrible
A very difficult check-in process with very poor Customer Service throughout the whole stay. A lot of junk in the main entrance area and although the bed was comfortable with the foam mattress liner on top to its comfort, the pillow felt very old and when I took the cover off it was a very old pillow soiled with numerous amounts of stains. If I could attach photos to this review, I would. Good location. Not a good choice. Disturbed by 730/930 banging on my door while I was asleep.
Literally the only good thing about this hostel is its extremely good location; everything else is a big mistake. They don't have a reception, check-in and check-out are done through a WhatsApp group, the place has no staff whatsoever, lots of dust, a mess, and a broken shower. I've always traveled and stayed in hostels, but none have come close to this one.
Deze accomodatie voldoet niet. De bedden zijn versleten en het beddengoed is slordig en vergeeld. De toegang werd versperd door bouwmateriaal en de trappen zijn plakkerig en staan vol met lege kartonnen dozen. De keuken is niet bruikbaar. Het dakterras is verwaarloosd en vuil. Beschikt niet over rookmelders of blusmiddelen en nood verlichting. Er is geen evacuatieweg. de ramen aan de straatkant sluiten niet zodat het lijkt alsof men buiten slaapt. sanitair is oud en vuil. Geen verwarming.

I really cannot recommend this hostel. From the very beginning, the check-in process felt completely unprofessional — a guy in shorts and flip flops didn’t talk a lot and just collected money. The hallway and the area in front of my room were no better: there were random items lying around everywhere, making the place look cluttered, messy, and downright dirty. It seemed like nobody had taken care of it in days. The cleanliness of the room itself was also disappointing. Wouldn’t book ag...
Kallis yö homeessa ja sitten thaimaan kansalaiset vaativat kahdesti summan, koska siivooja varasti heiltä rahat, mitkä piti jättää pöydälle. Tämän lisäksi vihainen thaimaalainen suihkutti vettä, kun istuimme rauhassa syömässä aamiaista, kattoterassilla. Palautteista poistetaan kaikki rehelliset palautteet jotka löytyvät googlesta. Huoneen ovi ei mennyt lukkoon, eikä sitä saa kiinnikään, mutta rahat lähti kahdesti ja hostelworld sanoi, että ei ole heidän ongelmansa.
wost hostel i have ever stayed in. There was nowhere to store luggage, toilets were disgusting, none of the showers had soap, the showers barely worked and sprayed the area to keep your clothes, staff were rude and unhelpful. would not stay again if you paid me

I guess my room needed some serious renovation, rest i guess for other rooms the property is good and decent.
Great location. The room was comfortable and clean. They were doing some work in the building, so there was some mess at the entrance, but it was ok. Great communication with the host for the check-in and check-out.
Hostel World should be held responsible for letting a place like this for guests. The dust is so threatening, I had an asthma attack; I left the place at 0330 hrs. I just couldn’t stay in my bed , which is next to a grotto. On top of that, the place was filled and filthy with age old furniture. As I entered, I was wondering if I came into a junk yard. Service was appalling. The woman was incompetent in receiving guests, no reception, and no proper instructions! Stay faraway from this pla...
The Palazzo is very well located and budget friendly. However I think those were the only positive points. It was well cleaned superficially, but throughout my stay there I found cockroaches in the bathroom. The maintenance is algo appalling. The shower was broken, my bedroom door did not lock properly and was flimsy. Anyone could break into my room. There is very and broken old furniture spread everywhere and a lot of dust. Mattress and pillows were old and uncomfortable. I dont recommend
Really lovely, quirky place, everything was clean and the beds were comfy. The owners were super helpful and kind, giving recommendations and checking up on me. Would definitely stay again!
It was the perfect stay! Such a cute place, very clean. The location was amazing literally minutes from anywhere. Very easy check in and payment. Amazing value!
I missed the lack of reception, never saw someone form the staff, but they on whatsapp answering very quicky. Overall, the place wasn’t dirty, neither super clean. Everything was a bit dusty, which I understand because we talk about an old place…but the place isn’t bad, it’s more the vibes that I didn’t like I guess
Très déçue par cet hébergement où l'ambiance glaciale m'a immědiatement saisie : entrée débarras envahie par de la brocante, humidité constante, salle de bains-toilettes peu entretenue avec plomberie bruyante, une personne qui est juste là pour récupérer la somme à régler : au final j ai passé une nuit horrible et n'y mettrai plus jamais les pieds.

+ Staff were exceptional, great location, breakfast was delicious. Very clean everywhere, beds were very comfortable.
- Room was very warm as unable to open windows and air con does not start till end of March. We were given a fan which helped.

+ Gyönyörű szépen felújított, kényelmes, mindenhez közel.
- Nekünk csak egyetlen gondunk volt vele, hogy nincs nyitható ablak, sehol egy szellőztetési lehetőség, a szobánk a belső udvarra nézett, ami kicsit sötét, ( nyáron mondjuk nem lenne gond mi márciusban voltunk ) de az ablak teljesen zárt, nem lehetett nyitni semmit.
