On My Way Taitung Hostel

the location is not good, far away from city center. also the staff was not super friendly when we entered. just not my vibe. bikes are only in certain hours so you cant take them when you want to do sightseeing early

Great hostel with very kind and attentive staff, clean facilities, and conveniently located right by the train station. However the mattresses and pillows were pretty uncomfortable so I was not able to get much sleep during my stay. Being near the train is nice but just know there are very few restaurants, shops, or things to do in walking distance of the hostel.

Awesome, personable staff who make an effort to engage guests in a way unlike most Taiwanese hostels. Lockers bigger than the standard as well.

Staff were super friendly and location is very close to the station, but further from the centre of town. They did have bicycles for free to get into town! Overall good stay :)

Nice little Hostel, really close to the Train station. You could rent bikes for free, bed was comfy, staff was kind.

Super close to the train station, friendly and helpful staff, basic breakfast, nice spacious rooms. Free water, very clean. Kitchen with stove. Only one thing: the bunk beds are a bit to short. I (1,81m) could not stretch out my legs completely.

Nice facilities and enjoyed the diy breakfast. Close to train station. 30 min bike to ocean, enjoyed the nice bike rentals and helmets! Nice dog. Not a great spot to meet other international travelers. Kind people.

Das Personal im Hostel ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man bekommt auch direkt über aktuelle Aktivitäten in der Stadt Bescheid gesagt. Die Zimmer sind groß und hell, die Betten gemütlich. Der Aufenthaltsbereich ist wie ein kleines Wohnzimmer eingerichtet (Capybara und mehr :P) und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Hostel ist fußläufig zum Bahnhof und Busbahnhof gelegen, aber deutlich außerhalb der Stadt. Die Verbindung mit den öffentlichen Bussen ist aber gut, nur abends/nachts ist das ...

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Loved the air conditioning in the rooms as well! They have free bikes you can borrow to ride to the city centre, although the ride there is a bit scary if you ride in the streets. Overall had a very lovely stay!

Solid property, super close to the station. Nice rooms, good social space, good showers (though can be crowded). Some staff speak good English! Free breakfast, though you have to cook it yourself… overall, highly recommend

Had a great 2 nights stay here. Rooms and facilities are clean, good common area where you can socialise, small breakfast available. The location is good because it’s close to the train station, so arrival and departure via train is very easy. You can get bikes for free from the hostel or rent a scooter nearby to get to the downtown or around the area. Staff is very helpful and friendly :) would stay here again!

Ostello molto carino a 7 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, pulito e nuovo ma scomodo perché lontano dal centro. Nota positiva: hanno qualche bici a disposizione che ti danno gratis, ma sono poche quindi se sei fortunato la puoi utilizzare. Io son stata qualche settimana fa e non c’era nessuno in generale a Taitung, peró il personale è molto disponibile e organizzano dei giochi la sera. Non ci sono turisti, solo locals (quando sono andata io)

nice place. just stayed the one night. close to the train station. staff were friendly and answered all my questions and helped me with the ferry to green island. A/c and showers worked well and the free toast, eggs and coffee in the A/M were nice

The staff was very friendly, accomodation very organisied and clean. They help you out. The location is a give or take, its very close to the train station but a little far from the city center. Nevertheless I thing renting a scooter is required for the area for exploration outside of Taitung.

Free bikes, free breakfast, nice workers and a great and clean atmosphere what more could we ask for ??

Overall the staff were great and the hostel looks really nice. It’s in a very quiet area with only the occasional train going past which is nice. There are bicycles free to use to make your way into town or a local bus just outside the train station. Lots of food places nearby although the opening times aren’t great. The only down point is the atmosphere but this hostel is great for a night or two. Also, rentable towels are tiny! A bigger towel to rent would have been great.

Tolle Unterkunft etwas weiter weg von der Stadt aber nahe am Bahnhof und stellt kostenlos ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung! Top!
