Ab 2.30 Uhr kräht der Hahn vom Nachbar, somit ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Die Anlage ist wenig gepflegt, überall liegt Müll herum und alles sieht veraltet aus.

We had a really bad experience in this hostel unfortunately. Our room was full of bugs and ants, even our beds !! And so were the other rooms. We got so many bites on our body and when we complained at reception, the managers answer was “these are just bites from the ants” as if it’s normal… and that’s it. Very disappointing.

Not sure what had happened.. Nothing like the photos, concrete block in a muddy field, no door locks, cramped shower and toilets with no seats, staff rude, no food/bar/party. Went down the road after one night to cheaper, cleaner, friendly hostels. I’d avoid this place

Very loud until midnight and the common area is so close to the dorms. If you wanna party its a great hostel

As someone who has previously stayed in many hostels, I can comfortably say this was the worst experience I have had. The hostel fails to mention there is a covered community basketball court 15 metres from the rooms that hosts extremely loud events. Every day and night of our 4 evening stay these events occurred using sound systems with a base that shook the rooms. The noise was intolerable unless you were unconscious. Checked out a day early, genuinely awful. Stay clear if you want to sleep.

little facilities, rooms arearent locked and no security sp anyone can walk into the hut. no events so no one interacts unless you meet them in your room

The place had so much potential, but nobody made any of the supposed events happen. No karaoke or beer pong, there was nothing happening. Looks like it used to be fun at some stage. All the plants as in the photos were long gone too. Such a shame

Not very clean, the location is okay, the wifi is good, the staff is very nice. It was about 20min to the beach and the main center of the place. The offered tours are good, and you can also rent good masks and snorkel Wouldn‘t stay there again tho

Ants were found in beds and in our stuff, the room is not enclosed so be aware of this, there are gaps in between and the door doesn’t properly shut so mozzies and ants inside. Be aware of this as it is very expensive for what you actually get, seems a bit overpriced in our opinion definitely go to a guesthouse or inn as probably would be same price or cheaper and better.

Nice hostel for a few nights, be prepared that it is really loud. There is some sort of dance hall right next door and that goes on everyday till 11pm and it’s LOUD like the walls shake kinda loud. Which is fine if you’re going out every-night but did find there was a night or two it was a tad annoying. The hostel also loves a bit of karaoke so if that’s your thing I’m sure you’ll love it.

Great stay. Not too intense party vibes, good activities on offer, great location. Clean rooms and showers etc.

solid hostel, really good location right next to the basketball court and food court where everyone is hanging out. Decently clean rooms, though there is only 1 shower and toilet for each room. Not any activities going on, but there is a nice large common area you can sit in and usually find a conversation going among people.

Hostels fine walkable to everything and beds seem to be recently redone but the outside area is really rundown. The hot water didn’t work and there was awful karaoke for 3+ hrs two of the three nights I was staying

There were cocks outside that made sound all night, couldn’t sleep. Other than that it was okay

The owner and her staff are so nice. Love the vibe here and might come back and stay for more.

It was a great hostel, the bathrooms got dirty quickly but that happens when 8 people are sharing a room. The security could definitely improve since the room doors are not locked and there is no locker inside. Overall it's great value for your money, in a good location, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Positive-Everything is good, close to everything Negative-they don’t provide towel for shower. I think towel should be provided at least and the aircond is off at 12pm until 5pm

I really enjoyed the vacation. I was just freezing in the night, because off the aircon.

If you come to Moalboal, stay here! Here you feel like home. Very comfortable bed, clean toilet and shower and amazing people! The hostel is close to everything. Walking distance to all restaurants, bars and the beach.

Everyone is nice especially the staffs. It's just a bit far from the actual beach but overall it's worth it. I might go back again when I get the chance to visit moalboal.

Only booked in for a night, sadly the location isn’t ideal, it’s next to the basketball courts which after reading another review it seems like it’s common that there are very very loud events. The beds and rooms were nice and tidy, and it was good to book a tour through.

Rooms were clean, beds nice and comfy. Would’ve been nice to have bed lights and it would’ve been perfect! Lots of staff singing loud karaoke for hourssss I think this pushed those staying there away and there was no atmosphere at all. Locations a little walk to the beach but opposite an amazing food court! Staff are helpful :)

Loved our stay in the hangover hostel! We stayed five nights and had a great time, met loads of fun people. Shout out to Queen, what a legend!

AC is weak. I switched rooms and both were warm and stuffy. If it’s not going to be strong, a fan at each bed would help. Staff is polite but not super engaging. Music plays until midnight even though there’s no social scene. No events. No locks on dorm doors, so use the under-bed lockers. Not all beds have night lights. It’s okay for a short stay, but there are better hostels nearby with stronger AC and a livelier vibe.

Lovely and social hostel! They had a few events going on while we were in Moalboal so we went back there each night even though we had changed hostels (because the hangover was fully booked). We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in early so we could sleep since we’d been travelling all night which was very kind of them💛 would definitely recommend! Beds were comfy as well:)
