Green River Hostel

The hostel is well located, you can walk to the old town easily. The staff let me leave my bag after my check-out. The rooms are quite basic, there is no individual light. The shower I used would need to be repared and the water was not very warm. There is a fridge, a microwave and cutlery but no stove.

Location was good, pretty close to the old town. The showers need a bit of TLC and unfortunately the beds were quite uncomfortable and very loud and squeaky. There appeared to be no air conditioning in the room, however keeping the balcony door open cooled the room down enough in the night (although it wasn’t super hot during my stay so may not work on warmer nights). Very clean and spacious. Showers and bathrooms were very nice. Not a really social atmosphere but it’s ok.

We had a wonderful stay in Cuenca. The Hostel was clean, professional and had a warm atmosphere. Only downside was beds were very noisy and the kitchen would be perfect if it had a stove top.

Very sweet staff and overall great experience! The bed was comfortable, rooms had enough space with storage compartment under the beds. A lot of toilets and showers (2 or 3) on each floor. Location is also great and the free breakfast was the cherry on top! The only small deception was that there was no kitchen (only a microwave and watercooker). Overall I would recommend this hostel for a short stay in Cuenca.

Muy buena la atencion de Elena, A1….solo no tuvimos la suerte de descansar tranquilas por ronquidos las noches que estuvimos pero eso escapa del host.

It’s a lovely hostel, during my stay here it was pretty quiet but I ended up spending most of my time here with the volunteers which was great. The only downside for me is that there’s not really a kitchen so don’t expect to be able to cook your own food here.

Gran sitio para hospedarse en Cuenca, el personal amable y las habitaciones buenas, lo único es que las camas hacen mucho ruido y es un poco incómodo.

Great place to stay! Two of the three staff were magnificent. It's a great spot and a comfortable place to be.

A gem of a hostel. Humanity, hospitality, a well-equipped kitchen, secure rooms and a very convenient location at a price you don't find easily anymore. I have been in a dozen hostels, this one is among the best and the cheapest. Shoutout to the receptionist, whose very kind help I appreciated.

Excelente lugar para descansar, tranquilo, muy cómodo, limpio y bien ubicado. Lo único que no tienen fuegos para cocinar.

I stayed for a Saturday night during a solo weekend break from Madrid. I enjoyed the lounge to read my book in the evening while drinking a beverage and having dinner. The facilities available are dishes etc. plus a toaster, a kettle and a microwave. The place was super comfortable and made me feel at home. The beds were comfy and there was a locker for each bed. Keep in mind that you need to bring your own locket, or buy one from the reception. I would like it if the lounge was a bit warmer.

Great hostel, it was the perfect location--literally across the street from the river. Also, the atmosphere was really nice and had a cozy feel. The lockers were very flat but could hold my 35L backpack. No curtains on the beds and the metal frames of the bunkbeds were a bit squeaky, but that is a risk you assume staying in a hostel. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Excelente lugar para escaparse un fin de semana. El lugar está bien cuidado y limpio, cerca del rio y a 20 minutos andando del casco antiguo… la coudad es hermosa. El bus que llega desde la estacion de tren te deja muy cerca del hostel

Great little hostel. One of the best in Spain!
