Its very clean and pod was very comfortable. Not all knobs functions inside the pod. No elevator, can be a pain if you're carrying something heavy up and down. The locker is tiny. cant even fit a backpack in it.
Good staff, nice guest, did not have to worry about my stuff getting stolen. Overall I would say I had a good experience. My only complaint is I wish there was indoor seating.
BUYER BEWARE: does not match picture! Instead of sleeping pods as shown, it’s just curtained beds like every other hostel. They also promised breakfast but it was gone long before the end of the breakfast window and it was only bagels, literally nothing else, not even milk for people who brought their own cereal. Just coffee creamer. Room was very cold; front desk staff admitted our radiator was broken then later denied us promised space heater. Meanwhile their radiator was toasty. Stay at HI...

Das Hostel hat eine wirklich gute Lage fast direkt neben einer Bahnstation. Auch mein Pod war gemütlich. Leider überwiegen aber die negativen Punkte: Die Küche im Keller war extrem dreckig, es gab nur zwei benutzte Plastikteller für alle Gäste und kein Besteck. Das Frühstück war sehr enttäuschend, jeden Tag das Gleiche (Bagel mit Butter und Marmelade) und oft schon gegen 8:30 Uhr leer. Man musste also sehr früh da sein, um überhaupt etwas zu bekommen…
I was honestly pretty surprised with how nice this hostel was. You're right in front of central park which was amazing and you have bike rentals just outside of the hostel for convenience if you want to ride around the park. 6 min walk to the subway and 2 blocks away from the bust stop. Food all around within a 5 min walking distance. I stayed in the womens 6 bed dorm. The pods were excellent! Showers and bathroom were very clean. Also 22 min bike ride to 5th Ave through the park.

Overall good experience, the only problem is that everyone can enter the hotel and reach any room freely, but atleast there are code locks for the rooms themselves. As for the service, everyone was nice and answered my questions patiently, good facilities, you have everything covered. Would come back again sometime.

Stayed in a 2 bunk bed female only room. The pictures were 100% false advertising. The rooms and beds do not look anything close to what they’re advertising. No sliding door, the bed was thin mattress on wood, the ‘light’ was a plug in from Amazon. And the bathroom is shared with the whole floor and does not look anything like what was advertised. Didn’t want to complain because the staff was not the most approachable and did not want to mess with my booking or stay. It was a bed.
It was a practical stay here! Everyone seemed to keep themselves to themselves here, quiet atmosphere. Rooms’ beds didn’t have the slider door as expected, rather a fabric curtain. Good location as next to Central Park, free breakfast which was handy.
Casi todo estupendo, la atención de los empleados, la limpieza del lugar. Room was truly so small - we stayed in the 2 person pod room. Barely room to get changed. My sheet was dirty, had like dried gum on it (disgusting). The windows aren’t sealed properly and the radiator doesn’t work so we were absolutely freezing at night - all they could do was give us another thin blanket. Shocking. Showers had mold and the bathroom sinks would barely work without the tap falling apart. Awful stay. Don’t recommend.
Be aware there are no elevators or early check-in - I arrived around 1pm and had them store my bag in their storage room, which they did *not* charge me for! All in all, I was pleased with the room and my pod; however, my towel went missing between night 1 and 2 so I had to ask for another. There are built-in hair dryers, at least in the female rooms, as well as an extra bathroom (handicap accessible?) on each floor with its own shower, if you need one while a roommate is using your room’s.
Great place, clean, close to Central Park/ subway. Really good and nice staffs, especially Julia.
O hostel é ok, oque me desagradou foi não ter um lugar no quarto para acomodar as malas, mas oque deixou tudo mais leve foram as pessoas, a recepcionista Júlia foi super receptiva e atenciosa.
It was an excellent experience. The location is great,andit has everything you need nearby. The metro station a couple of blocks away help you reach anywhere in the city. The girls in the front desk are great, specially Julia. She was super kind, polite and helpful.

Great experience at the hostel! I was very well taken care of. Julia (at the front desk) was extremely attentive during my check-in, providing all the necessary instructions. Throughout my stay, I could also count on her help for questions and recommendations. The breakfast could be improved, but aside from that, the experience was excellent. The location is amazing, and the housekeeping staff were very polite.
