- The most unpleasant experience I have had in recent years in terms of communication and customer support. In the context of a national alert situation, which led to the rescheduling of the event for which I had made the reservation, I immediately contacted the reception to request the rescheduling of the stay. Unfortunately, I encountered a rigid and unempathetic attitude, the communication was confusing, and the information provided was incomplete. Although I followed all the instructions received and tried to collaborate with both the hotel and Booking, my rescheduling request was not accepted, being treated identically to a regular cancellation, with full charges. It seems that, for this establishment, a national emergency does not constitute an exceptional situation, but only a reason to apply the same penalties as in any other context. Avoid these scammers who only take advantage of extreme situations and yes, a communication course for the reception employees.

- Experiență profund traumatizantă Am avut parte de o experiență extrem de neplăcută și umilitoare la Hotel Splendid Mamaia. În timpul șederii, am fost chemați de managerul unității și, într-un mod abrupt și fără o verificare prealabilă corespunzătoare sau dovezi concludente, am fost acuzați că am avea păduchi. Ni s-a cerut să părăsim hotelul imediat, într-un mod care ne-a încălcat o serie de drepturi, fără o abordare adecvata, ceea ce ne-a adus o profundă stare de rușine și stres emoțional. Considerăm că modul în care am fost tratați a încălcat grav standardele de ospitalitate, respectul față de client și, mai ales, dreptul nostru fundamental la demnitate. Această experiență ne-a afectat serios starea emoțională și imaginea personală. Atragem atenția tuturor celor care iau în considerare acest hotel asupra faptului că modul de gestionare a situațiilor delicate de către conducere poate duce la situații traumatizante și nedrepte pentru clienți.

- Не препоръчвам да се ходи в хотела без калцуни в дъждовен ден! Ще ви накарат да платите 200€ за почистване на общи помещения! За жени с червени коси също не е подходящо защото тогава ,ще трябва да заплатите хавлия или халат по които са останали следи от боята! ( КОЯТО СЕ ИЗПИРА).

- Desi Hotelul merita mai mult de nota 1, am dat aceasta nota pentru ca piscina e nefuncționala din cauza apei foarte reci. Am ales Hotelul acesta tocmai pentru aceasta piscina pe care nu am putut sa o folosesc. Am fost pacalit!

- Un hotel in care se incurajeaza prostitutia, fiind deranjati la 3 dimineata de femei de moravuri usoare. Rusine!

+ The room had a good size. The bathroom was nice as it had both shower and bathtub. The spa area was also nice with the saunas and pool. Private parking with enough place for every car. The food served in the restaurant was quite good especially the mussels in wine and the schnitzel.

- The window in the room did not close properly so we needed to change the room. The TV was very small in comparison to the room size and also outdated. The thermostat in the room is centrally controlled so it was very hot in the room and we could not switch to cold. The cleaning staff is quite poor, on the second day of our stay they have left us with no toilet paper and we needed to bring from the reception. On Christmas Eve the restaurant closed at normal hour, for them it was another day in the week. We were asked to order something which can be prepared quickly as they wanted to close soon. We could not finish eating until closing hour so we were forced to grab our plates and finish eating in the room. There was no Christmas atmosphere, no special meals or drinks for people to feel that it is Christmas. I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning to spend Christmas time here.

+ Cozy and quiet room, nice staff.

- The breakfast was very poor (dried omlet, rather small amount of food, etc) and it seemed to me that it used to be better (it was my 4th time visiting this hotel in the last 6 years). It would have been a better experience to not get the 'breakfast included' option and just eat out. Also, I've been staying even in 3 stars hotels with way better options. Above that the water in the pool was a bit cold.

+ The breakfast was great , the whole building very clean . Spa area was great , very intimate , clean and relaxing , the pool was also very clean and nice

- Don’t try the massage ; very disappointing for the price charged, the massage was very… rudimentary Also, the TV in the room was quite small for such a large space, and it wasn’t even a smart TV;very disappointing for a 4-star hotel

+ Locație minunată.Am avut camera cu vedere la strada,n-am avut probleme cu zgomotul de afara. Camera spațioasă dotata cu cana electrica, pliculete de nes, ceai, zahar și miere. Foarte cald în camera, am reușit și am reglat temperatura optima. Piscina curata ,dar mai mergeau 2-3 grade la apa. Saunele au funcționat perfect.

- -Recepționera un pic plictisita, una tinerica,slabuta și frumușică. -Apa din piscina : ii mai trebuia 2-3 grade.

+ The pool and SPA area are the highlights of the hotel and the main reason we chose to stay here. Very well organized and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful , breakfast was very good . The room was really spacious , clean and had a bathroom that had both a shower cabin and bathtub. Balcony was also a major plus for us smokers. Overall great value.

- Just a small thing worth mentioning for me , although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were a bit too soft and even though an extra pillow was available in the room for me it was still not enough.

+ Curățenie, facilități SPA

- Zgomotul ce se propagă prin pereți de la băile celorlaltor camere. Zgomotul de la mașinile care circulă pe bulevard datorită etanșării slabe a tâmplăriei. Deși programul SPA-ului începe la ora 09.00 , saunele nu sunt pornite în avans astfel încât să fie funcționale la ora 09.00.

+ Am avut un sejur foarte plăcut la hotel. Totul a fost la un nivel foarte bun, începând cu micul dejun variat și proaspăt, care oferea opțiuni pentru toate gusturile. Camera a fost curată, spațioasă și bine întreținută, iar patul extrem de confortabil. Personalul a fost amabil și atent la detalii, ceea ce a contribuit la o experiență relaxantă și fără griji. Per total, o alegere excelentă și cu siguranță aș reveni.
