Chill hostel but they charge extra for everything (water, kitchen use, staying after checkout, etc.). Lots of mosquitos, the nets only do so much. Great relaxed vibe and common space

Alright. Friendly Host. Only 1 Toilet and 2 showers for everyone. Rural. Kitchen access. A ton of mosquitos in the evening/at night.

overall this hostel did it's job. however I would like to point out that this hostel is in a weird part of Mancora that I didn't feel super safe walking back to. we also did not receive a key for our bedroom so could not lock our door and I was worried stuff would get stolen. also the showers are just pipes with holes in, hardly a shower. but the value is fine for what you pay. the beds were comfy and it had mosquito nets so I think you get what you pay for but there's better options in mancora.

Extra charges for things that I was not told about like drinking water and leaving my bags there after checkout (which is free as standard in most hostels I have stayed in now). The location also felt quite sketchy and I wouldn’t walk anywhere that wasn’t straight down the road to the beach and only in daylight. That said the beds were comfy and it was quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.

Wally’s House is great if you are looking for a calm hostel! The hammocks are nice and the rooms are lovely and clean. There is a kitchen - none of the party hostels have! If you don’t want to party full time then i recommend staying here and then going to a few parties if you like. The host is lovely!

We had to pay extra for drinking water. Otherwise the place is fine, no one was there— it seems to be where people go once they’ve had enough of the beach party at rover etc

The place is nice and cozy, but you have to pay extra for kitchen and water and I must say the staff made me feel objectified and a sometimes quite uncomfortable (even though I got better rooms for better prices than my guy friends and other nice stuff the actions around made me question the intentions of these good deeds ). I’ve met amazing people there though so it was all well in the end.

We arrived early in the morning and really appreciated being let in immediately and getting our rooms early! A bit out of town and felt a little nervous walking back at night even having 2 guys with me. The host encouraged us to fill our water bottles up before we left (which we didn’t really need to do) and later realised he charged us for it. Overall not bad but also not amazing. Good if you’re looking for something really lowkey.

I think if you don’t want to stay at the party you should stay here. A great little property with a nice social area and kitchen plus close to the beach. Had an amazing NYE here. Thanks, Wally!

GÉNIAL ! Merci Wally, c’était sûrement la meilleure auberge de mon voyage. Cette cabane nichée près de la plage est un vrai bout de paradis. Avec un gérant au petit soin et une super ambiance. Si je reviens, je saurais où aller.

Wally’s house is really like a home away from home! I stayed for three nights and in that time I met people that I will stay friends with for life. Wally is an amazing host and really takes genuine care of his guests. Also a shout out to the volunteer, Luciana, who became my dear friend. The hostel has everything a traveller needs and it is close both to the beach and to the town center. I will definitely be back! Thank you Wally! 🩷

Lovely hostel with a super friendly host. On our first day we arrived really early in the morning and Wally took us to the market and showed us all the best spots to get fresh produce for cheap. Located 10 minutes between the beach and main road, you have easy access to everything

Really great hostel. The owner is super friendly and the place is beautifully designed, which makes it very comfortable to stay. The best part was the atmosphere and the people – it felt more like a temporary home than a typical hostel. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Máncora.

Best place in Mancora!!! Lovely space where you can enjoy and relax. Super close to the beach and close to the parties but far enough away when you’ve had enough of partying! Great atmosphere in the hostel. This place will always be close to me! Tupananchiskama 🤙🏼

This hostel was really nice! I came here after staying two nights at The Point and that was just too much loll. But immediately I felt super comfortable and everyone was super friendly! Definitely enjoyed my stay :)

Hostel con buenísima onda, siempre muy limpio y ordenado. La diferencia está en el anfitrión, José, que te hace sentir como en casa y muy cómodo en todo momento. Recomiendo!

This was a great place to stay in Mancora. The hostel felt very homey and the living room/ kitchen area brought everyone together. The vibe is very chill and laid back, the location is away from the busy roads but close to the beach and short walking distance to the shops and bus stop. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Absolutely loved it here! Jose is fantastic and made the stay really comfortable. Good beds and quiet at night. Cozy common area, with a well equipped kitchen that makes it ease to get to know people. I planned on just staying three days, but ended up staying a week instead. Thank you Jose!:)

Super séjour, l’endroit est vraiment très calme et on sait que le silence est un luxe au Pérou. José est adorable et vous aidera pour tout ce dont vous avez besoin, les petits dej sont très bons et la cuisine est pratique.
