HOOD Pattaya

WARNING ⚠️!!! This places is a Mafia place. I was scammed here. Originally booked for two night over New Year's Eve which was confirmed. When I arrived a Chinese guy told me that the do not have a room for me and that I do have to find another place myself. No explanation, no refund!! Luckily I found a place nearby which had a room for one night and then again another place which had rooms, but this! place is the worst ever. Don't book here, very shady place!

The location is great. Right by the beach. I did want to use the pool during my visit and was told that there wasn’t one but overall okay stay.

Really happy. The staff are absolutely amazing, so helpful, what more could you need, good staff, fun vibe I had a good sleep, the best sleep here in Thailand to be honest!!! Overall 10/10 for me thank you hood x x

planned to stay for 2 nights. However cut it short. Got there before beds were ready so paid the full amount, come back after 2pm to be told that the beds were given away and it was full. “No room for us” this got resolved eventually, no mention of cats in description as they house at least 3. My girlfriend is severely allergic. Would’ve been nice to know about them. Only have 2 functioning toilets for over 30 guests. No toilet paper, No pool,towel, fan in my bunk. Avoid at all cost. The beds were clean. There were a few weird people, also consuming some stuff. The staff was nice, there were sweet cats. but the bathroom was a mess, one day the water wasnt working. Its not a hostel i would recommend for solo female travellers.

Honestly not bad at all and considering the great price point it’s a steal. I love the friendly cats, very very cute. Most of the staff are amazingly friendly. Bring your own towel, toilet paper (in case the bathroom is out) and soap/shower gel/hair shampoo + conditioner. Double check twice that things are clean before using like the pool. No TP, No Soap, and no lockers! Could be a very nice hostel but unfortunately these things are missing These three things i think are mendatory for any hostel, good or bad! Workers were nice and helpful

Worst stay ever. There was a bad smell everywhere. Toilets were not clean. No separate shower. I gave 1000baht for my stay to the staff 510 for the stay and 400 deposit and the staff gave back 600 only taking the deposit so I thought they take the money on checkout but then they wake me up at midnight and take 510 . Very bad service. Don’t ever sty there.
