Teocalli Hostel

Horrible experiencia en ese hostal, la propietaria es quien atiende y tiene nulo interés en sacar adelante el negocio. Además de que el lugar está sucio, únicamente te permiten usar dos regaderas de todas las que hay y huele bastante mal. las chicas de la cama de junto encontraron insectos en su litera.

Nothing special. Decent location, uncomfortable bed, no social scene. more of just a room for rent with shared bath than a hostel.

Location is really great! Everything else is very basic.

el lugar está muy bien me eh quedado más de 3 veces eh recomendado a varios amigos el lugar.. pero el todos coincidimos que el sr que es encargado es muy grosero. En esta ocasión llegué a las 14:40 y me dice la entrada es las 15 horas dejándome esperar te mueves las cosas de refri... Y sinlempides algo siempre dice que no tiene pero si lo pides a las chicas te prestan ejemplo los gancho

Good location and easy access. I'm not sure why I did not have a blanket and only a sheet. No one was at the desk so I couldn't get one and I was cold all night, not pleasant! Also on Hostelworld it was affaissés as one privé, then when I got there the price went up by $20 Canadian. Too much!

très bonne emplacement. J'ai pris une chambre privée et il ny avais pas d'endroit sécuritaire pour ranger les objets de valeur, et la nimporte qui avais acces à la chambre par une fenetre qu'ont ne pouvait pas barrée

Si tu as envie d’être tranquille c’est la place ! Il n’y à qu'une chambre 6 dorms et 5 chambres! L’emplacement est à 2 minutes de la malecon.

I stayed only here for one night in the dorm. It is not a social hostel and did not meet any other backpackers. The location is good and the price was decent as PV is very expensive. I took the local bus (10 pesos) from the airport to the hostel and walked 1 block. Very easy. Just use google maps to know when to get off the bus. It is a good location for walking around zona romantica and centro of Puerto Vallarta.

Nice hostel, fantastic location right between Centro and Zona Romantica, and just a few blocks from the beach. I had a private room with excellent mini-split AC that kept the room comfy all the time. Bed was very comfy and slept great there. Cons: Kitchen is kind of small and not great for cooking. No hot water in the showers. Not much common space and doesn't seem very social though I was there in low season (early Oct) and there were hardly any guests. A couple of nights I was the only guest.

Muy bien lugar

We loved Teocalli. Very simple clean rooms without many frills. Clean and well maintained. The kitchen was pretty simple- fridge, dishes, two burner gas hotplate...not much else. We didn't really use it. The upstairs deck was nice in the morning and evening but too hot during the day. We did use the clothesline to dry our swimsuits. The location was great- it's very secure and about 2 minute walk from the Malecon- we were right in the middle of everything and an easy walk to all activitie...

An affordable, safe place to stay in the perfect location. Very close to malecon and zona romantica. It isn't fancy but it had all we needed.

Jonathan was a great host at Teocalli Hostel! We felt very safe and taken care of. We ended up needing to extend our trip, and he was very accommodating. Even helped us get food when needed. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend this stay!

I stayed here in a private room. The AC worked well, and the bed was supportive, although a little firm. The hostel is an inner outdoor courtyard with rooms off of the ground floor. All the showers are enclosed but partially outdoor. One bathroom is enclosed, but the other is similar to the showers. It is insulated from street noise. However, if there is any noise going on within the hostel itself, it can get fairly loud. bc of the outdoor-ness i wish there were mosquitos lamp in the bathrooms.

Me encantó de verdad, yo reservé habitación privada y dormí hasta mejor que en mi casa, el hostel es súper tranquilo, su mayoría adultos mayores, así que puedes descansar muy bien.

Location is great. Close to everything. Friendly staff. Beds a bit hard but clean sheets, blankets, towels. All rooms are on first level. Quiet. Kitchen facilities could use a kettle for boiling tea water and a longer handle lighter for the stovetop. I recommend this hostel for short or long stays. Priced reasonable.

I just stayed here for a few days and LOVED everything about it. The location is the best part for me. Being a 2 minute walk from the beach, very safe area, lots of good food in walking distance. There’s lots of taxis passing by if you need transportation. The staff was very accommodating, there’s someone on the property all night if you need anything. The bathrooms were clean. Our room had air conditioning, and was clean, our only problem was the beds were not the best but for the price 10/...

Rooftop patio could have some better seating for hanging and relaxing with friends and other travelers. The six bed dorm could use a new storage locker that is a little more robust for peace of mind when storing valuables. Other than that it was a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay at Teocalli again.

In the dorms there were limited small storage lockers and no privacy between beds, like curtains, but I would definitely stay again.

Hola, I'm still here now. I.just arrived here from.Canada. i cant even express how great this place is! Espwcoally for the price. Its perfectly located 1 block from Beach, close to any shop, 2 mins walk to Our Lady of Guadalupe church. Its so quiet here and clean and Jonathon is great! Real friendly. Robert from Canada (A returning customer for sure)

Next time I am in Puerto Vallarta this will be the first place I check for accommodations

Lovely place to stay right between the romantic One and downtown. Loved that it was 2 blocks to the Malecon! It was very comfortable stay. I booked a single room and it stayed very cool at night. A\c was a bonus I didn't need, and staff was very happy to watch bags before check in and after check out. Basic shower and bath for the private rooms, which was just fine for a few nights. Will look it up again if I can manage to come back to PV!
