Not good at all, we paid for two private rooms but forced to have 1 room with 2 beds but we’re still made to pay the same price and we had no other option as we arrived in the middle of the night. the room was gross and had bugs in it and the bathroom was flooded after 1 shower for 2 days. They also booked us a bus to the airport which arrived 35 minutes late and put us in a big rush and for 20 minutes said it was only 1 minute away and wouldn’t give a real time. Leider können wir die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen! Unser Zimmer war sehr feit. Die bätwäsch, die wäre, … über all Schimmel. Bei dem Personal (Jimmy) hat man gemerkt, dass ehr uns nur irgend was verkaufen wollte. Zum Schluss wollte er uns noch Sachen zahlen lassen(Getränke ) die wir gar nicht benutzt haben. Obwohl auch kein anderer Gast da war wurden wir früher als die checkout Zeit rausgeworfen. Es gab auch kein Frühstück, wie angegeben.

We kwamen een aantal uur voor incheck tijd aan (ivm nachtbus), gelukkig mochten we in een andere kamer verblijven. Echter moesten we hier flink voor bij betalen. De kamer was groot en schoon. Helaas was de kamer super koud, de badkamer is 2 dagen super nat geweest na de eerste douche en in de avond viel tot 3x de elektriciteit uit. Met de man viel te praten en hielp ons. It was different than we expected. Room was clean. Amenities were ok. Pool smaller and less nice then the photos, we didn’t make use of it as it is next to the reception and we felt we had no privacy. The receptionist booked us a bus to cat ba and made it sound like it was her company bus. In the end it was a charter bus from Good Morning Cat Ba. We liked the bus but it’s better to be honest. Also about the pick up location. We felt she made things unnecessarily more beautiful than it was.

They were very annoying with everything money-related. When we paid we asked them to pay half cash/half card as we were leaving the country, but she did not accept the smaller bills because she said they were too small. After she charged us 4% extra when it is normally 3% and she rounded up 10.000 extra, the next day we were leaving early and she entered our room and pressured us to pay for the water while we were packing, also over charged us for it, rounding up as well. Very annoying.

Mevrouw probeerde bij aankomst meer geld te vragen dan de afgesproken prijs via the website. Ook probeert ze een foute wisselkoers te gebruiken, dus let hier op! Ontbijt was goed en veel, maar we moesten er wel 45 minuten op wachten. In Hanoi zijn 2 accomodaties die deze naam hebben, let hier op.

The private room here and was very clean and spacious + I loved the breakfast. The hostess helped me book a HaGiang Loop and Halong Bay tour which were great but she definitely overcharged a bit with the conversion rate so be careful. It also felt a little pushy with the sales pitch so just something to be aware of. They use a padlock on the front gate which can be a hassle to open and the location is not the best since you cannot walk across the bridge to the Old Town. This means a ~10 minute G...

The room was decent for the price, however the lady at the reception first tried to overcharge us and also kept our passport with her at the reception which is bizzare.

Very good! Ruby is the nicest woman in the world. They are cheap and washed our clothes. Also we were able to get late checkout. Very nice!

Very clean and tidy room, the staff Ruby was extremely helpful and generous. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any other travellers.

Ruby was an amazing host! Helped us plan events and tours for better prices than we could find online.

Location is great, tucked away from the chaos but still practical. Hotel itself was nice and clean with good facilities. I was able to meet some other travellers in the communal areas of the hotel. Ruby the member of staff was extremely nice and very helpful. She text me on WhatsApp from the minute I made the booking offering anything I needed. Then throughout my stay any time I needed anything at all I would message her and she would arrange for me immediately, as well as making the best tea!

Amazing place! Jimmy is a nice guy, helpful with whatever you need. It has a beautiful rooftop, they offer coffee and tea when you chill in the lobby, the pool is clean and they have a boxing bag to let out the steam !!! Recommend if you want to be away from the chaos of the old quarter :)

Great Hotel, clean and affordable and exactly what is was looking for a quiet nights sleep

Really great stay at the Lucky Budda, they even woke up at 4am to check us in after a night bus journey to Hanoi! Great service, nice rooms, lovely family running the place. Highly recommend you stay here!

Jimmy was very helpful and nice. Good value and beds were comfortable.

Excellent help from the start with airport pickup and good knowledge on local things to do

Jimmy is a great host who was able to make our trip very easy! He understood that our plans were constantly changing and was able to assist us in every way possible. Jimmy helped us organise the Hai Gang loop with Mickey tours and it was an unforgettable experience! Could not recommend this place enough especially for a couple of backpackers.

This was a very nice and comfortable stay. Jimmy and his family are very nice and hospitable. The roof terraces are very cozy with a good view.

Awesome hotel, got an old school charm to it. Jimmy is a great host!
