My worse experience in Jordan. The staff does not care about your stay in the hotel, they just care about selling you their tours (incredibly overprized). I arrived at 21:30 and told them I was very tired, they did not care, they kept trying to sell the tours, the airconditioning was not working, they did not even dare to check. It’s impossible for me to leave anything higher than this as a review. I showed up yesterday for my stay and was told that my room was under construction and they had no room available. I booked this two months in advance. They never told me in advance… no email.. nothing. Just sent me to a hotel ‘close by’. Let me tell you. Completely different area than I booked. I was also planning to stay here later on in my Jordan trip and have been trying to cancel bc of the terrible expe...

Eventhough my booking was accepted and I organised airport transfer with this hotel (although responses were very slow and no price provided in advance), I was taken to a very different hotel over 2km away and no explanation given and was charged a lot more. My first negative experience in all the years of using hostel world.

When I arrived, they sold my room. And told me to pay extra because he sold my room to get another room. Horrible experience :( Had to walk to another hotel

Hi, we arrived at 1.00 a m and the room we expected to have was no longer available. The front man brought us to another hotel which was terrible.

The night I arrived it was very late and a member of staff told me I was being moved to another hotel. I was not happy about but went to the hotel. As soon as I saw it, I refused point blank to stay there because it was dirty and smelly, so said I will find another hotel. All of a sudden there was a room in the original hotel (Zaman ya Zaman). I agreed to stay. Some sort of scam is happening. The staff hold this place up and the owners are so lucky to have them. They are the one's who welcomed

I arrived late at night and was put in a very small room with no bathroom. Did not match the pictures on my booking whatsoever

We booked and paid for a room with ensuite bathroom but we got a room without bathroom. We had to use the shared bathrooms. And also a girl who arrived at the same time didn't even get a room at the hotel. They told her it was al fully booked and they brought her to another hotel which happens more often according reviews on Google.

Good location, friendly staff, nice roof terrace and breakfast area with a view on the theatre. We took the free walking tour, which was nice :) Two persons bed was small, room was not very big.

My wife and I stayed in a single room, en-suite, king size bed with balcony looking directly onto the Roman Theatre. The room was great for 1 night and the breakfast too with the rooftop terrace :) Coming off the busy main street up the closed off stairs was like entering a magical place :) The check in staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. what could be improved? The breakfast crew were not so friendly, the balcony is shared with the next room and those guys partyed loud.

Absolutely wonderful location with absolutely wonderful staff! Merry is a delight to be around and makes you feel at home! Thank you, Zaman YA Zaman!

There is a very quiet atmosphere at this hostel, which is a little strange as it seems to be very well set up and the location is excellent. I did a day tour to Jerash organised by them, which was great, and something they were good at organising, but I wasnt aware of anyone else at the hostel looking into the trips.

Great staff that were helpful and organised a car for us that was competitively priced and we could drop at airport on return - much easier than messing around at hire car dealers. Thanks to Khaled who was helpful even after we left and gave us heaps of confidence travelling around Jordan that we had someone if needed

The perfect location and amazing staff.book excursions outside of amman especially to petra and wadi rum not through them. look for alternatives. the camp they booked for me was not worth it and not fully functional.

Not bad hostel

We have spent 6 nights in Amman in the hostel Zaman Ya Zaman. The guys at the reception were very helpful, always giving advice what to see, where to go. Also very flexible to handle all the requirements we had. The breakfast was delicious, you could choose from 3 options every day. The location of the hostel is amazing, right in the downtown area of Amman. We also took the Free tour guide for 2 hours to experience the real Amman and Orwha Albakri was a great choice! Super hostel, propre et aux espaces communs charmants. Le personnel est adorable et, en raison des travaux, m'a proposé une chambre seule à la place du dortoir que j'avais réservé sans supplément aucun. Situation centrale face au theatre romain, très bon petit déj avec du choix qui plus est. Merci a vous!

Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfbereit. Es hat uns bei Fragen (zb wo man Geld wechseln kann, welches Restaurant zu empfehlen ist) immer weiterhelfen können. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut und vielfältig und man konnte immer gratis nachbestellen, wenn man noch nicht satt war. Die Bäder waren sehr sauber und es gab immer warmes Wasser. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed in Zaman Hotel for 3 nights and felt totally comfortable. The staff (especially Khaled and Habib) were super friendly and helped us a lot when our car was hit. The breakfast is more than you can expect in a Hotel with such low prices. The Wifi isn't working really well in the rooms, but it was a reminder for us not be on our phone all the time ;) The location is great too. The Roman theatre is in front of the Hotel and you're in the city center in less than 10 minutes (by foot)

The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but more than adequate. The breakfast was incredible, very good value for money and the view from the terrace was amazing. However, the walls are very thin and so you can hear all of the noise from outside. I was woken a lot by a child screaming, the morning call to prayer, and people using the shared bathroom which was directly next door. Stay, but bring earplugs if you want to sleep!
