It was pretty dirty. There was a mold spot on the ceiling in the bathroom and the shower was not clean.

The room was fine. Staff was very sweet and accommodating. The one complaint I had was another guest who became extremely aggressive (cursing at us and staff) about late night television. He was also chain smoking directly outside our room every time we came or went, so it felt a bit hostile. Otherwise the property was nice and close to the center of town.

You kind of get what you pay for, the place is grubby and really needs a deep clean / re paint. The toilet smelled bad the whole time we were there so maybe a plumbing issue ? Or maybe just unclean. (Possible ) we had an animal run in the ceiling above our heads nearly every night - most nights waking us with a jump! And the bed is rock solid - it is cheap but I wouldn't stay here again. The staff are friendly tho!

Wouldn’t stay again. Good location for bus station and night market. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Shower pressure was good and room had AC. However, the bathroom was mouldy, the bed was uncomfortable. There is a rooster next door that crows frequently throughout the night incredibly loudly - could hear it even with ear plugs in. The doors in the rooms upstairs are French sliding doors with one lock on the inside and you padlock it shut when you go out - it didn’t feel secure.

Perfect for a stop over on the way to the border as it is just a short walk away from the bus station, making it easy to get connections to other cities as well as the temples in chiang rai. Short walk from night market. Bizarre reception full of cats but we were into it. The private rooms were an absolute luxury compared to other budget hostels. Very very quiet, didn’t see on other person around although we did visit in the off season.

Good value for money but not much going on at the guesthouse. Location was close to the bus and city center

Had nice 2 nights in Chiang Rai here. The bed was comfy and I had everything I needed

Stayed for one night on the way through to Laos so didn’t experience much but had everything we needed, clean and tidy and well located.

Very clean and welcoming place and love the cats!

loved everything about this place. ended up extending our stay for almost 5 days because it was so comfortable and convenient. would recommend to anyone, and would absolutely come back here to stay again.

Baramee guesthouse was one of the guesthouses i really liked, it had everything you need, soap, every day fresh towles and water for free, a fridge, it was clean, you had coffe and hot chocolate for free, you had an electric kettle, and there was a washing machine you could use for a good price. i would definitely go back. just a really good guesthouse that knows what travelers need or like, for a super good price.

Comfortable and clean room. Location is perfect, a short walking distance to the bus stop. Not the most sociable place but for me it was the ideal place to recharge. Great value for money.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Always coffee and tea available, could also buy beer and soft drinks. My room only hat a tiny hole as a window. Nothing to linger in, but clean and functional. Warm water only, if you didn’t open the faucet completely, but then brilliant. They have shampoo and body soap in dispensers. The bed was comfy and they changed the towels every day. Unfortunately they didn’t empty the bin in the bathroom, which started smelling in the heat after two days.

Très bon séjour à Chiang Rai avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre et le logement est bien situé. La petite dame a l’accueil est très sympathique.

Had a wonderful stay here. Cannot express enough gratitude for the helpfulness & kindness we were shown by the owner. Was helped to set up the slow boat transport and made sure we had a packed meal to take, since we would be gone before the normal breakfast hours. Was a perfect place to have a reset with a private room.

Super emplacement à proximité de la gare routière et du bazaar. Chambre spacieuse et propre, propriétaire très gentille et possibilité de faire un check in jusque 22h !
