Absolutely shocking. This accommodation is simply outdated & extremely basic. No air-con, so 30°C indoors in November is normal. The bathroom ceiling has signs of mold growth / spores above the shower. I experienced no water pressure in the shower on one morning, so it was not possible to shower at all. Late guest arrivals one evening at around 23h45 caused an abrupt awakening, and ongoing clatter & noise through the walls & creaking wooden floorboards. It's therefore totally overpriced . ...
We stayed in the winter (late July) and it was extremely cold in the rooms and there are no heaters. The shower was only cold (after running for ~5 mins). The bed was two singles pushed together and fell apart from one another so not ideal for a couple. We also had dirt marks on the sheets, not sure if these were stains or fresh dirt marks but not super comforting.
SUPER comfortable bed. Very rustic and mellow. Finding wifi is hit & miss, if it is something you 'have to have'
Lovely place to stay, beautiful location and staff were friendly - definitely a place you’d need a car for and there’s a lot of car parking spots up front. Walkable to the wine tram which was great, not super social but I think it depends on who’s staying there at the time.

The room was too small and the fourniture to put clothes was in the bathroom

Just the perfect little spot .value for money never expect glitz glass and ttravatine . It’s a family friendly , natural , simple spot , we loved it . Two fab nights . Clean sheet and and hot showers , greet bird life

Sehr schöne Location zwischen Bäumen mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten im weitläufigen Garten! Wunderbarer Gemeinschaftsraum.
Great hostel, Lovely location by the river and very close to the centre of the town yet still feels isolated. This is not to mention the lovely staff members, the only problem was the Hot water lasted about 3 minutes, but besides that cannot fault it.

It’s a magical place embedded in beautiful scenery - please check it out if you consider staying in Franschhoek 😍✨ we extended our stay once we arrived!

The best hostel I have been to! Great crafted rooms, nice shared spaces, super nice family vibe. They have been helpful and caring all the way through. Totally recommended.

Megaaaa Location für alle die Natur lieben! Ruhig gelegen und trotzdem fussläufig erreichbar
no pool unfortunately but the rest was fine
I was happy from the time i entered and left the Sunday. Even my friends that braaid with us was impressed. next booking will be for them. Thanx Mary Regards Sergio
Friendly and helpful staff. Funky communal kitchen and dinning area. Peaceful setting. Provided Lanterns for loadshedding. Bit tricky to find. Groceries and Lots of resturants within a 5 minute drive. Recomennd for exploring the Franschoek area.
