Choco Hostel

I had an amazing time at Choco Hostel. Very familiar and nice atmosphere, highly recommend ☺️

Not quite the tranquil oasis of existing reviews. The dorm doors don't close, some of the dorms don't have lockers, there's no 'terrace', the rooftop view is Just A Roof, and the bar is "bring your own drinks". Staff were friendly and clearly making an effort to show us around, say hello etc, which was nice. Bed was lumpy and rooms get cold at night. Noiseproofing is dreadful, really echoey, could also be solved by proper doors. Fortunately we missed the "500 person rave" from previous week.

This was the worst hostel I've ever been to. I had a couple of nights booked during Dia de los Muertos weekend. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday, and the hostel was having a huge party that night that they did not tell us about beforehand. They were basically operating a super loud club in the courtyard, including patting everyone down just to enter the hostel. We had to squeeze past a DJ booth to get to our room. The beds were not made, the staff didn't know which beds were taken and which ones ha...

DO NOT STAY HERE. There is a nightclub IN the hostel and there aren’t even doors on the rooms. Earplugs did nothing. The rave went until 6 in the morning (I know because I was still awake) and after 6 people laughed and talked loudly for a while. This is the most dishonest hostel I have ever stayed at for not disclosing that there are raves in the hostel. I got maybe an hour of sleep the entire night. Do not give them your business.

It is a very nice place and I can really recommend to come here. Everything is new in the hostel and the breakfast tastes very good. The owners are very friendly and help you with everything. We enjoyed it here very much. So big recommendation. Thanks for having us 😊

Loved this place. The hosts were extremely welcoming, the location was a walking distance from the centre and a stone throw away from conveniences such as the lavanderia and street markets. My highlight of the stay was having breakfast together with the hosts and learning slang Spanish from them :)

L'endroit est super. Bar, resto, lieu aéré, grand. Dans quelques semaines tout sera parfait. Parcontre ilsdoivent changer tout, je dit bien tout les matelas du dortoir, vraiment pas bon auvun et ils sont infectés de punaises de lit

Perfect location, walkable to the center and Mercado. Decent facilities, clean and comfy beds and great rooftop. The owner and staff were amazingly kind and helpful. Huge courtyard that sometimes hosts external events. My only qualm with the hostel was, the soundproofing of the doors. There was an event on one of the days I was there, although it was fun, it went on through the night and I couldn’t get the best sleep. If that is ironed out, it’d be a perfect hostel.

Such a gorgeous building with very nice staff and incredible facilities including a co-working space, rooftop terrace and art exhibition!! Not very easy to spot from the outside but it's the one almost on the corner

My stay was great! The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were very clean and a bonus was the fully stocked kitchen.

Really cute little hostel that could really become something if they put on events! The space is incredible! A little walk from the center, but we didn’t mind too much. Not much of an atmosphere yet but maybe just needs the right group of travelers!

Choco hostel was such a lovely place to stay. Gorgeous building and sunny rooftop. Only just opened so was quiet, but great vibe and can’t wait to see the hostel grow.

A very new hostel, so there were not many people. The host was awesome. He was so kind and has visions for this place. I hope this hostel will turn into a really good hostel soon.

I had a perfect stay at choco hostel! Its a beautiful building, the room is very big and the beds are super comfortable. It was very clean and calm. The owner and the staff, they were lovely and showed me the best bar and food in puebla:) For me it was one of the best hostel I've ever been. thank u so much for the great stay!
