Not recommended tbh. The receptionist was very unfriendly and was trying to charge me an additional fee if anyone is getting by for a „sleepover“ This is not how you treat your guests in any place. PS: I had a private room. If anyone is sleeping next to me it is still my business - not of the receptionist/owner. #privacy
Infested with cockroaches, do not stay here. We booked for 3 nights and didn't even stay for 1. Also asked not to write a review by the manager which is disgusting. The room was dirty when we first arrived, had to ask for bedding to be changed and bathroom to be cleaned because of flies. Came back from dinner to find huge cockroach in bathroom followed by another 3 around or under the mattress so left at 1am due to disgust. No one to contact as phoned on Whatsapp with no response. Awful.
Manager was friendly and helpful, but the room was not good. Very hard mattress, thin/worn towels, bathroom was not very nice. Shower in front of toilet so always walking on a wet floor just to go in and no floor mat to dry feet on after. Lamp didn't work, fridge didn't work, air con was sometimes noisy. Noise from outside and from other rooms just passes through walls. I spent way more on this room than any other for the trip to make a special occasion but this sadly had an opposite affect

Very simple and fully equipped.
We felt this property was more of a hostel than a hotel. Unfortunately the place looks a bit run down and had a smell to it. We were woken a lot in the night by neighboring guests being loud and no one is on site to help from 7-8pm until 8.30am. Room privacy wasn’t great either. Curtains do not cover full length of windows and doors and in the evenings you can see into peoples rooms when they have lights one. Although the rooms were a good size. Was a comfy stay but nothing luxurious. Man at reception seemed nice but not sure how genuine it is unfortunately

I have mixed feelings about this hotel/hostel. It’s right across the road from Chaweng Beach, so a great location, plus it’s easy to walk to the main nightlife. The room was clean and bed comfortable. However, it was expensive, there was no atmosphere and it’s better suited to groups of friends or families rather than solo travellers or backpackers. Also, the one of staff made me feel quite uncomfortable and saying I must tell him if I have another person stay in my room (I’m a solo fema...
Habitaciones correctas, personal correcto. Ubicación bien, a 10min caminando del centro. La playa cercana no vale nada aunque esté a 1min. La calle por la que hay que pasar al salir del hotel, inundada siempre por las lluvias, te mojabas si o si. Según comentan, tienen servicio de bar y copas, pero todo cerrado.
Correct accommodation, correct staff. good location, 10min walking distance from the center. the nearby beach is worth nothing even if it is 1min. the street you have to go through when leaving the hotel, always flooded by the rains, you can go to the beach. according to the comment, they have bar service and drinks, but everything is closed.

The staff was amazing here and very kind! The shower water did smell like sewage though. I’m not sure if that is an issue with the property or the area but something to make note of. Besides that the staff was very helpful!
Good value for the price. Rooms are nice and big, 7-11 right at the entrance and a nice quiet beach right across the road. 10-15 minute walk to the Main Street with bars and restaurants. As others have said, the bathrooms are a bit dated which is a pity and the rooms are not really soundproof so can hear neighbours coming and going and cars from the main road driving past. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The location is quite good, peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it's a great place to stay!

lovely personal and very well located hotel
Stayed for one night before going back to the airport. Room was spacious but relatively dated. The sliding door didn’t feel very secure and there was no chain or anything to prevent staff just unlocking the door. Bathroom was clean but dated. 15 minutes walk to more lively area and the beach. Staff were kind and helpful and got a free welcome tea on arrival. Was good for a single night to catch up on sleep.
The nicest hotel for the price since we are in thailand. Everything is very clean, and the staff is amazing.(very kind and helpful). The resteraunt also fantastic we ate there almost everyday. (they have a HUGE menu). And the best is that everything is so close. So in the 50 m area there is a a 7/11, laundry, resteraunt, massage, beach and bars. And the city center is a 15 minute walk

Hotel is very nice and very reasonable. Great location right across the road from the beach and 7/11 next door. 5/10 minute walk into the main places to eat and shop. Receptionist was very friendly and helped us book all our day trips and ferry’s.
At first glance this hotel is fine… however even though it says it’s really close to the centre the centre they’re referring to is awful, so dirty and tacky. It’s actually a 15 minute drive to any nice area. We were greeted by a male receptionist who was slightly patronising and cold. Although he tried to be helpful. We experienced an ant problem our second night (up the walls and floor), I asked the same receptionist if they could help solve this issue, he then asked if we ate in the ro...
The room was nice, bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. Staff were very friendly and so were their cats (especially Mimi the receptionist). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Great value for the money!
The Lotus Friendly Hotel is great! Its located a 1 minute from a beautiful beach, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is fantastic. The staff were always so helpful and hospitable, and the owner was always polite and friendly. There’s a 7-11 and scooter rental plate right next door too, so overall a great experience, and I’d recommend staying here to anyone visit Koh Samui
Great staff who are super friendly. Room was comfortable but could do with a bit of an update. The locks on the door could be better. Overall we had a really great stay :)
