Hostel Beach House

Went to this hostel because it has the most reviews. But wish I hadn’t. The guys at the desk have seriously weird vibe. Wasn’t a fun time. The whole place is unlocked.

The ability and willingness to speak English is quite minimal and generally the service wasn’t particularly friendly. The nice beach facing area looks great, but is utterly unliveable because of constant incredibly loud music of the neighbours, not only forcing you to find a place to relax elsewhere, but also ruining your night. Leider wurde auch nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen nicht auf ein besseres Bett/Meerblick umgebucht, obwohl der Preis dafür gezahlt wurde. Begründung gab es eigentlich keine… Im 15 Betten Schlafsaal gibt es Betten zur Straße in der die GANZE NACHT Musik gespielt wurde - an schlafen war nicht zu denken trotz Ohrstöpsel. Die Zoilette hat ebenfalls nicht funktioniert - alles in allem für eine Nacht okay, aber nicht mehr. It’s okay to stay for one night but not more. music is waaaaay to load...

no AC during the day and WiFi really just works around the front desk, did not reach our room. Front desk staff only speaks Spanish and does bare minimum. The cleaning lady is very nice and polite, and there is usually good crowd of people who stay there. they don't take credit cards and there is no ATM in the entire village, so make sure to bring cash. I paid for private room, it had a window to the hallway and a PVC pipe as a shower with no hot water. the beach in front of it is nice.

on website it says credit cards accepted; on arrival they just said NO. no ATM's in Rincon; I had to leave one day early and lost one nights money. NO LOCKERS! One door key for 4 people; the room was often left unlocked, I was worried about my valuables. The hostel itself is ok, but the two muscle/ paranoid guys on reception ruined it for me. No nice welcome, never a smile; I went to take a dry teatowl from one of them and saw him blow his nose on it - YUK! no bottom bunk as req

Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen aber Ordentlichkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, die Zimmer sind relativ klein und stickig. Die Küche ist sehr chaotisch und die Angestellten äußerst unfreundlich

The hostel is very nice. I stayed in the dormitory, which is spacious and well equipped with big lockers and mosquito nets and 3 bathrooms divided by 15 people. The hostel has a very nice kitchen and free coffee in the morning. A lot of people cook their own meals, as the kitchen has everything you need. The hostel itself doesn't play music, which I really appreciate, but the neighbours do. It can get loud on the weekends. During the week it was very quiet and relaxing.

Had a good stay here, if you want a chill time. Staff do not speak English so be prepared, no real interaction. Found the stay had mostly families and couples.

I just stayed one night. All in once is it a cute histek in this little fisher village. The location is directly at the beach and they have a chill outside area. I stayed in the big free air doorm, which was a bit of a hustle because it was really really warm during the night, even with two fans. But it was beautiful waking to with the ocean sounds and view.

Muy buen hostel, directamente en la playa, parece como paraíso, nos encantó este lugar. Grande cocina, dormitorio abierto con vista al mar (increíble). Los baños son bastante rudimentarios pero todo bien. Gracias!

Great Hostel to relax. Easy access to beach restaurants and bars. Please take into account its a small town so the loud music from different businesses can be heard!

Quel bel hostel! Le dortoir en haut est magnifique avec vue sur l’océan. La cuisine est propre, le staff est très gentil. L’hostel est très très propre malgré qu’il donne directement sur la plage, le staff fait le balai et la vadrouille plusieurs fois par jour. Le voisin de droite est un restaurant appartenant à un français. J’ai adoré mes 5 nuits là-bas.

I absolutely loved this hostel - it was a PERFECT location right on the beach front with its own area with hammocks & sunbeds and near lots of amazing restaurants! Dorms and beds were very clean (they changed your sheets and made your beds daily which is unheard of in most hostels), had mosquito nets and good fans! Lovely staff and free tea and coffee. Would 100% recommend.

das 15 Dorm hat wirklich einen tollen Ausblick und es ist traumhaft nachts mit den Wellengeräuschen zu schlafen und morgens mit Blick auf Meer aufzuwachen. Es fühlt sich aufgrund der Unterteilung nicht wie ein 15 Dorm an. Küche ist gut ausgestattet und der Outdoor Bereich lädt zum entspannen ein. Leider sind die Nachbarn sehr laut, es scheint der Treffpunkt der Locals zu sein. Das fängt direkt morgens an und geht bis in die Nacht. Be prepared.

Goede locatie op het strand! Heel fijn dat er een keuken was om zelf ons ontbijt en lunch te maken. De dorm was groot met voor iedereen een locker en stopcontact. We waren hier ook iets vergeten, en ze waren heel behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader!
