Yogi's Hostel

Quite basic but passable for a night or two whilst on the island, the kitchen is very small with limited equipment, wifi is ok in the communal area but didn’t reach my room at the front of the hostel. Was very quiet when I stayed here so no real social atmosphere. 5 minute walk to the Pali supermarket and no more than 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Two panes of glass were missing from my bedroom window meaning anyone could unlock the door without using the key.

La personne de l’accueil était adorable, très sympathique. Concernant le propreté: pas propre dans les douche, toilette qui ne marche pas, moisissures dans les chambres.

Staff were great. The room was just too hot. Even with a fan it was impossible to sleep. ThThe common area didnt facilitate any social interaction and was uncomfortable to just hang out in. it was too hot and just an awkward space. The kitchen was severely lacking, it was very, very basic.

freundliches Team, allerdings spricht nur der Besitzer englisch. Rollermiete über das Hostel unkompliziert und preislich i.O. leider hat die Sauberkeit und der Gesamtzustand zu wünschen übrig gelassen (z.b.kleine Tierchen aufm Bett, Flecken auf dem Kopfkissen und Bettlaken, Matratze durchgelegen, kaum Abstand zwischen den Betten, Wasserstrahl in der Dusche eher ein Rinnsal)

Okay for the price but wouldn’t stay longer than a night. Also hard to meet anyone as a solo traveler.

gute Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, netter Besitzer und größtenteils nette Mitarbeiter, Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein Wurde fast vom Personal beklaut… Wollte duschen, hatte aber noch was vergessen Als ich zurück kam, saß der Mitarbeiter der Nachtschicht in meinem Bett mit meiner offenen Tasche und Portemonnaie Sicherheitsgefühl war dann nicht mehr wirklich da, er kam sogar noch ein zweites Mal 5 min später rein

Très bon Hostel, fidèle au prix qu’il coûte. Je recommande pour les petits budgets 🥰

Le prix est très accessible, la cuisine comporte le minimum pour cuisiner (attention si l’auberge est pleine on peut vite manquer de place et ustensiles). En revanche nous avons eu une expérience mitigée concernant la location de moto, le loueur (et gérant de l’hostel?) était prêt à nous laisser partir avec une moto sans frein, nous avons dû insister pour échanger !

A very nice and clean hostel with everything that you need. I managed to store my bags for a day, rent a scooter, and get the Concepción hike for a great price. Would stay again!

Great staff, super helpful and knowledgeable about everything going on on the island, hostel is clean and comfy and you can get scooters there for a really good price. woukd definitely stay again

Todo fue perfecto ! El personal es muy amable y listo para ayudar si tienes algunas preguntas (para comer o que hacer). El dormitorio es bastante grande y hay todo el necesario. Y es posible de cocinar tambien. Muchissima gracias

This hostel is small, but has everything you need. What made the experience especially great was the amazing owner. He was really helpful with renting a scooter. They offer the opportunity to leave your backpack so you can explore the island by scooter for multiple days. I would highly recommend it!

Die Küche hätte ich jetzt nicht brauchen wollen, ansonsten hat es alles was man braucht.

Great place for the price you pay. Didn’t have much of an atmosphere or social space and the kitchen was quite basic, but it sufficed. Lacking basic stuff, for example none of the bathrooms nor the kitchen had soap for my whole stay, despite asking the reception for it. Not every bed had a fan. For the price though I think it is very decent.

very nice owners, laundry service, kitchen was not the best but okay for simple meals, lockers, there are dorms with queen sized beds (per person)!!

I disliked the lack of access to filtered water. They sell you water instead.

Host was super helpful and spoke great english. Helped us with recommendations, renting bikes, and transportation. Hostel was peaceful and quiet. Good location on the edge of town but still close to food and other stores.

si buscas un hostel que esté alejado de la ciudad es perfecto. Recomiendo tener un scooter para que puedas movilizarte o tmb a hitchhike funciono bien para mi, aunque no hay muchos carros en el área. Está cerca a la catarata San Ramón, puedes llegar fácilmente caminando. El staff es demasiado amable y el hostel es muy limpio

Really friendly owners who were super helpful when hiring an ATV. The rooms are unbearably hot though, with no breeze in the communal areas or the rooms. Needs some air con as the fans do nothing
