Supertramp Hostel

The rooms were extremely damp and dirty and there was a bad smell throughout the hostel. We had to book another room 5 minutes after checking in and we’re not offered a refund despite not touching the beds.

Breakfast is form 4.30 so that is really nice for when you have early Machu Picchu tickets but the hostel is just not value for money. It is SO noisy. I think it’s echoes but in the room in your bed you can hear everybody in the hostel as well as outside. Which is really bad if you have to wake up early. Also the en suite bathrooms weren’t really clean the whole time (we stayed two nights).

Muy sucio todo. Las sabanas eran usadas. El baño fatal. Las paredes llenas de hongos. Muy mal aspecto todo. Muy ruidoso.

El personal ninguna queja. En cambio el hostel, puedo decir con seguridad, ya que he estado en + de 10 países. Que es lamentable. Llegué y no había agua, para los que dormimos arriba no hay ninguna facilidad, tienes que hacer la maleta en el suelo. El baño muy pequeño. El check-in... Formulario con varias preguntas cuando lo que deseas es descansar, pago con tarjeta... Incremento de 5% y no lo avisan. Por lo que cobran... Demasiado caro. No volveré. Si vas solo... No lo recomiendo.

Property needs updated or renovated. It is a mess and it is also very dirty. The room key you are given is attached to a dirty soft toy/pom-pom- perfect breeding ground for bacteria. There is dirt all over the floors, cardboard and dirty towels lying on the floors. The breakfast consists of urns containing water or coffee and the mugs provided are unclean. You are then offered a pre-made plate of toast and banana that’s been lying out for hours. They offered to reheat it in the microwave.

Wir können die positiven Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. Das Hostel ist überall schmutzig. Egal ob im öffentlichen Bereich (dort streut der Hund umher, frisst die Rest aus dem Müll und schmeißt den Mülleimer um und niemand kümmert sich um die Sauerei) oder im Schlafsaal (schimmliger Duschvorhang, überall lagen Haare herum, die Bettdecke sah echt eklig aus und es hat richtig feucht/schimmlig im Bett / Zimmer gerochen. La infraestructura es buena,, ambiente cálido. Muy mala atención del personal de recepción. Además de que la política es hacer un auto - check in extenso cuando lo podría ingresar recepción, la muchacha nos atendió con pocas ganas e impaciencia No hay shampoo ni jabón en las habitaciones que no tiene nada de malo pero lo aclaro para futuros huéspedes. La misma persona que nos “hizo” el check in se encargó de subrayar que no teníamos desayuno incluido, cuando en nuestra reser...

mold all over the shower, no case for the blanket in a place with high humidity 🤮, very bad atmosphere, toilet door can't be closed, annoying check in procedure (you should have all that data and take a picture of my passport yourself if you need it). Just a place to make money off of tourists. no heart. Early breakfast service was great though!

Great hostel for one night before Machu Pichu, but that's all. The dorms are loud and there is no key for the room. There is baggage storage and hot water though. Don't forget to bring soap.

Great place to stay and the staff were great! My only issue is that you have to pay for the ‘free breakfast’ which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but otherwise it was worth it!

Honestly a pretty good hostel. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. The bathroom was new and had hot water with water pressure, exactly what you need after a hike. It's close to the center and got areas to chill.

Esse lugar é uma vibe por si só! Incrível espaço, staff maravilhoso e cuidadoso, terraço incrível e ainda contam com um studio de tattoo dentro da propriedade! Super bem localizado, dormindo com o barulho do rio! Absolutamente incrível ❤️ recomendo muito!

Hostel increible, staff super dispuesto a ayudar, las habitaciones y todo el edificio lleno de arte, la limpieza impecable y una terraza hermosa para relajarse, además tienen un bar y un tattoo Studio muy parchados, 10/10 todo acá ❤️

SuperTramp has a great vibe and looks amazing. The rooftop view is a highlight, and there’s even a cute cat hanging around. There’s also a tattoo studio on-site — I ended up getting tattooed there, which was a fun bonus. Just be warned: it’s at the top of a very steep hill, and I was fighting for my life walking up. The room was good, but the bathroom door didn’t close properly. Overall, a cool spot with some unique perks.

Good value for Aguas calientes. About as far up the street as you can be, so be ready to walk. Overall, the vibes were good, it’s an affordable option, and the rooms were clean

People come to this town for one thing: hike Machu Picchu. So understandably the bar isn’t that busy, no planned activities, etc. I’m not entirely sure they have a kitchen as they didn’t mention it during check in nor did I see one. The place though was very clean, staff were nice, and the location is great. I had a private room with ensuite bathroom and it was very spacious and comfortable.

Unclean bedsheets

Muy buena atención, excelente lugar, definitivamente una gran opción.

I liked the energy of this hostel, but, the rooms were absolutely covered in mold and mildew. Given how expensive the rooms are, I was surprised at how dirty the accommodations were.

El lugar tiene buena ubicación y es conveniente. No me gusto el ambiente o el trato en el front desk. Tampoco la limpieza había un olor a humedad y los pisos eran viejos.
