The Beach House

The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. No hot water, bathrooms without toilet paper, and the bed curtains were literally covered in mold. The sheet they give you to sleep with had blood stains, which is completely unacceptable. The humidity smell inside the rooms is overwhelming, and they refuse to keep the air conditioning on even in extreme heat. I even found cockroaches in the beds. Absolutely zero social atmosphere. Do not stay here.

There are definitely bed bugs in this Hostel and the staff didn't take my complain seriously. They said they go and clean it. in there opinion it is done with changing the sheets and some sentence spray.

The location is perfect. The staff is really nice. But we had a cockroach in our room, the toilets and showers are gross, a lot of used toiletpaper on the floor, no fresh toilet paper. They say they shut off the water from 10am till 5pm but the water was shut off around 7am (if it was ever on) for 2 nights in a row. After 5pm it was still off as well. No desinfect, no washing your hands, no flushing the toilets so they were really gross. Dont stay here if you like cleanliness.

I had to check out of this property early because the place was so uncomfortable. I booked what was listed as a 2-bed dorm room, but it was a 4-bed dorm, and the staff there just blamed the website. The beds are small, with no vertical space. The room had no ventilation or windows so it was very uncomfortable, damp, and dark. The rooftop bar was exceptionally loud all night, and the bathrooms pretty in need of some TLC. I didn't think it was worth the money charged, even though very cheap.

The worst hostel I stayed at during my solo trip to the Philippines. While the staff were nice, there was literally no social atmosphere here. They had no events or ways of helping people meet other travellers. The wifi didn’t work and they offered no explanation, and I had no service throughout the property. The bathrooms weren’t very clean and the rooms were small and dingy. The worst part was that it was also my most expensive stay. Try to get into Frendz Hostel instead.

the shared dorm had a really heavy smell, you couldn't open a window. their only solution was to spray the room 1 time. couldn't get another room or any kind of compensation, they were just looking at my like i was nagging.

The worst hostel we have ever stayed in. We were so excited to visit El Nido and turning up to this hostel was the biggest disappointment. It was confusing to find the reception as there is also a dive shop within the same building. This also resulted in us getting asked everytime we entered the hostel if we wanted to go diving. The rooms were extremely small and nothing like what was advertised in the photos. There was no space for bags and there was a locker awkwardly positioned above the ...

We were honestly quite disappointed in our stay at the Beach House. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm which was extremely cramped, with nowhere secure for our luggage. The bathroom floor was always wet and dirty, and there was almost never toilet paper in the toilets. There was nowhere to fill up filtered water; no common area to meet other people/relax/any option for any privacy and the wifi was v poor There was a lot of noise on the second night of our stay but otherwise location was good.

I didn’t enjoy staying at this hostel, no social element at all. Also thought the lady at reception was rude and unhelpful. I was on top bunk and asked to move to bottom when everyone left due to having a bad knee. was told no as then 2 beds would need to be cleaned. The room is outdated and ladders hurt feet. It felt unsafe climbing up / down - a. Handle needs to be added to the wall to make this safer for future guests. Staff would also often be hanging out in the bathroom which was weird

Rooms smell moldy, have no windows and are extremely small. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but checked out after the first one because of cockroaches in the dorm. Bathrooms are small and not very clean. The staff was friendly, they tried to help with the cockroach problem and refunded me my money. Location is very central in the main area. However I do not recommend staying here.

Room felt cramped. The showers are for both female and male. But nice rooftop bar

Most gorgeous, underrated hostel. It’s in such a good location, literally two minutes away from everything you need right at the heart of town. It was SO clean and the restaurant / rooftop bar above the hostel had delicious food too, with a discount for hostel customers.

Pretty mediocre for what they charge, the 6 bed dorm is TINY sand and wet beach clothes everywhere, would definitely recommend staying at friend’s hostel instead.

an amazing location for el nido, and great if you're there to do diving as they offer discounts. however there wasn't a social vibe, the roof plays super loud music until late even though no one is up there. beds are comfy, nice staff, decent enough!

Cockroaches in all the beds in my room. Staff said it had been cleaned but there were still cockroaches the following days

las habitaciones están muy bien y los baños limpios. no hay mucho ambiente pero las vistas son espectaculares.

Pleasant stay, very good location. A bit Messy cause the rooms are pretty small and had no Space to store my bag. Air conditioning and bed size and mattress were perfect. Plus they give you a towel! No soap in the showers tho, and bathrooms could be cleaner. Only one shower had warm water (of 4). The breakfast downstairs is a big + with great view, it’s a shame the rooftop bar is deserted it has great potential.

The hostel is good in terms of location, facilities and service. But it doesn’t have that vibe which we usually get in those South East Asian beach hostels. When I asked them if they host any weekend parties or any events, they were literally confused about what was I even asking! So I feel it is not that happening, or a place for socialising. But good interms of a stay

Perfect location (beachfront and close to everything), comfortable, clean, and amazing staff. They give you a 10% discount for the restaurant downstairs and have a nice rooftop bar.

A hostel with a lot of potential, but my biggest issue was that the AC was full of black mold and my bed was directly in front of it, so not really healthy. The hostel was directly at the beach but you didn’t notice anything of that because the rooms were on the street side with no windows. The beds were very wide which was nice. And there wasn’t really a common area.

Ik raad dit hostel aan. Enige minpuntjes was dat de kamers wat klein waren. Douches en toiletten waren schoon en het hostel ligt echt direct aan het strand. Het was wel even zoeken waar het nou precies was.

had a great stay at the beach house because of the clean room and bathrooms as well as the staff who were very good at their job!! also, i love that they have a rooftop bar that has a really nice view of the town’s port plus the place is close to everything :))) unfortunately, on my last night, one of the guests brought his male friends to our room (a female-only dorm btw). hopefully, the management will make sure that guests strictly follow the protocols in the future.

Rooms were extremely small but beds were fairly large. Found a cockroach in our room. Staff were nice and security present o/night. Good central location. Was an okay stay.
