Its under construction. Very loud with the mosque nearby. The host would also come into the room all the time (even in the middle of the night…) The toilets dont have doors, its a curtain. Quite musty. No common space

Dit hostel is geen aanrader, het zit midden in een armoedige straat wat onveilig aanvoelt omdat de deur van je kamer niet dicht kan. Via de badkamer kan iedereen ook de kamer binnenkomen. De jongen van de receptie komt ook regelmatig even in de kamer kijken wat bij vreemd vonden. De badkamers zijn vies en we hadden een onveilig gevoel.

This hostel was super basic. The security was non existent as in theory people could just walk off the streets into the rooms - nothing stopping them. The toilet cubicles had no doors - instead there was a curtain. The room was crammed in with people - there should be at least 3 fewer beds and proper privacy curtains/screens as at night whenever anyone turned on the light, the light came through and woke me up. Avoid this hostel.

If you are a solo female traveler DO NOT STAY HERE. My female dorm was located down a dark alleyway away from the main property, with only shower curtains covering the toilets and no locks on the door. Any stranger can walk in whenever they want! Did not feel safe at all. Plus the shower didn’t work when I first arrived and when it finally did work I noticed there was hair and mould all over the walls. There were also small bugs crawling across my bed (not bed bugs). Very disappointed

Helaas was alles in de verbouwing dus was er voor ons niks anders dan een bed. De kamer was mooi maar heel klein en konden onze spullen niet kwijt. Het was erg luidruchtig. Personeel was super aardig 😊

De slaapruimte is prima, maar in de badkamer/keuken lopen ‘s nachts gewoon ratten en de wc’s hebben geen deur maar een gordijn ervoor..

Ok hostel, there seems to be two blocks of rooms, the one I was in didn't look anything like the photos provided on hostel world, was very basic and happy I was only staying one night. Good for a one night stay, any longer and you might want to stay somewhere more comfortable to be honest. Have to walk up big hill or lots of steps to get to it as well. No real social zone.

The sleeping space is super comfortable, was very private. The lock boxes are a too small if you have a laptop & there isn't anywhere to lock up backpacks. The fridge isn't cold, so I didn't feel I could store and/or cook food. The bathrooms are clean, but smell like some kind of poison. Roof space is cold, male staff very friendly. Not great value compared to other places that have food & free towel (you must rent here). No room key, but felt safe. Strong AC, good location.

The staff were helpful and there are lots of common areas but our bathroom in the dorm smelt awful the entire time and there was black mould in the showers and sinks. The bathroom had a dirty plaster stuck on the wall for our entire stay, so can't have been cleaned.

super clean and modern hostel, comfy beds and a great kitchen area for cooking up a storm, the staff are so friendly and helped sort taxis out for me, just off the main road so super handy location for restaurants, shops and the port(15min walk), also only five min drive from the airport! a great place to crash pre/post komodos trip!!

AMAZING ! This hostel rocks. The staff is so friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for local owned tours / businesses. The rooftop has a stunning view, and I really enjoyed the genuine conversation over beers / sopi with travelers and staff together for sunset. The owner is well known and loved in the area, get one of the Ata Flores custom shirts downstairs to rep their local brand!

Nice little hostel. Has a nice view, rooms are clean, bathrooms could be cleaner but still totally fine. Can be social but depending on the people staying there

We had booked this accommodation after spending 3 nights on a boat from Lombok to Flores, and was absolutely what we needed! Was sooo clean, the beds and showers were amazing and the staff were really friendly. We even had sofas in our female dorm which was luxury to us haha. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Saya memiliki waktu yang luar biasa di de Nata. Pemandangan laut dari hostel tidak dapat dijelaskan. Kamu bisa menonton matahari terbenam. Kamu boleh menggunakan dapur. Tata, Efren, Desi, Ani dan Yuyu kalian semua yang terbaik. Saya akan selalu mengingatnya

Personal ist super freundlich und von der Dachterrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht. Schlafsaal ist sehr modern im Vergleich zu den Toiletten und Duschen.

die mitarbeiter sind alle super. total lieb und zuvorkommend. die lage ist perfekt. wirklich toll. ein kleiner geheimweg führt sofort in die stadt. die waschbecken sind sehr klein und man hat nirgends haken zum aufhängen. die handtücher konnten wir ebenfalls nicht zum trocken aufhängen, weil die betten es nicht zulassen. die nische des bettes ist sehr klein und nicht hoch. die dachterrasse ist wirklich wundervoll. ein kleines außen gym, für alle die sportlich aktiv sind. die küche ...

We had a very nice stay here! Clean accommodations, super friendly and helpful staff! And they have great rooftop views and hang out spots. Definitely recommend!

Overall an ok stay, stayed here for 3 nights. staff were friendly, nice common areas including balconies and a nice terrace with an amazing sunset view. The beds were comfy but the design of the ladders made it quite difficult to get up. Also the door jammed shut so kept waking up at all hours of the night when people were coming in/out. The showers weren’t cleaned regularly as peoples old toiletry bottles were left for a couple days, no hand soap in the toilets and often no toilet roll

War für den Preis total in Ordnung. Bett ist relativ groß und Matratze sehr bequem. Könnte overall etwas sauberer sein aber es war definitiv in Ordnung!

not the best hostel but good for after or before the tour. it has a nice terrace, ok rooms and a good price. the way up is quite exhausting but manageable. would recommend for a short stay!

i really like stay here, the room is clean, there is a locker with key, the staff is vibe super kind, get free coffee and tea 24h. lovely, i will stay again here if come to Flores again. Very comfortable stay here. close to everything

De Nata was a great budget option for visiting Flores / Komodo - staff were great, and we had the best shower we’ve had in Indonesia. Although the property felt safe there was no way to put locks on valuables and we felt like it could have been cleaner in the rooms
