The High Vill Home Stay

+ Les gestionnaires sont très gentils. La chambre et la cour sont très agréable pour un bon rapport qualité prix.

- C'est dommage car c'était très chouette mais la nuit fut difficile à cause des aboiements non stop d'un chien dans la rue.

+ Great place to stay. he even arranged for a twin bed room for us as requested. however the bathrooms are not ventilated properly. Would recommend for close friends and families or small groups. not as much for coworkers and colleagues etc.

+ The hosts were absolutely marvellous, helping us with sightseeing and getting to and from the railway station.

- Wifi was a bit patchy and the room was very basic, with no heating and only very limited hot water...it would be much better in the summer.

+ Homestay plutôt sympathique, bien situé, à 15 minutes à pied des temples ouest. Il doit y avoir un garage à proximité, tous les matins vers 4h30 quelqu'un s'excitait avec la porte de garage. Si vous avez le sommeil léger autant être averti. Sinon le séjour s'est très bien passé 🫶

+ Eenvoudige, maar netjes onderhouden kamers met een fijne binnenplaats en dakterras. Lekker eten en behulpzame gastheren. We waren ziek (griep). The Highvill was een goede, superbetaalbare plek om rustig weer op te knappen! Er werd voorzien in alles wat we nodig hadden.

- Soms werkten dingen niet (de geiser, het electrische kacheltje) maar dat werd steeds snel opgelost. Het beddengoed en de handdoeken zijn aan vervanging toe. Het bed was erg hard.

+ La struttura è pulita e si può raggiungere facilmente (a piedi) il centro e i templi più famosi. Se si ha voglia di fare una camminata, sono raggiungibili anche quelli ad est. Il terrazzino sul tetto è carino. Le colazioni (omelette) sono buone. Lo staff è molto disponibile.

- Staff cordiale ma talvolta invadente nel proporre attività extra. Suggerisco di informarsi bene prima di prenotare i loro tour o spostamenti, poiché i prezzi della struttura sono meno competitivi rispetto a quelli che si trovano facilmente in paese.

+ The hosts are always attentive to provide support and advice. Rooftop ideal for meals (no view but that's ok). Food is homey and convenient. Hot water and WiFi working well. Thank you Mukesh and Manish!

- The mattress was too hard for our liking.

+ Struttura pulita con un bel cortile dove fare colazione con piante e fiori.Stanza pulita ma con pochi piani di appoggio.Staff molto gentile .

- Un pò distante dal paese,se non sei pratica devi prendere tuktuk ogni volta per spostarti. Io mi avventuravo a piedi tra i vicoli e non ho avuto problemi . Lo staff è gentile ma come tutti gli indiani che abbiamo incontrato sono interessati a servizi extra da venderti (trasfer,guide,escursioni,shopping) che possono essere utili se disposti a prenderli con maggiorazioni .

+ Struttura molto accogliente e pulita, sviluppata su una corte interna privata. Il personale è molto disponibile e si prodiga per aiutarti a organizzare al meglio il soggiorno. Se passate di lì chiedete di Rocky un ragazzo molto gentile che vi accompagnerà in giro per i templi

+ Sehr sauber. Gemütlicher Innenhof, ruhig. Das Management sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Was Transport, Besichtigungen und Ausflüge betraf hatten sie immer gute und günstige Lösungen. Kochen können sie auch gut. Das ganze Paket zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen. "Home Stay" beschreibt die Unterkunft richtig.

+ Where to start. Khajuraho is beautiful, and its people are even more, picturesque and colourful. Our stay at the highvill was incredible, thanks to Monish who treated us like family guests, took us everywhere personally and showed us around, the restaurant in the guest house is amazing, and the location even more, right in the centre of action and walking distance from cafes, the temples and other attractions. The place was very comfortable and very clean.

+ A tiny but cute & beautiful property.. Everybody is bound to love the property.once enter it's cute & small courtyard cum garden. Rooms are quite big with a side table on both sides, hot water any time, a big washroom, Wi-Fi, and a kitchen from which food can be supplied as per the guest's needs. A garage to Park car. Such a beautiful room @₹500 per night was just beyond anybody's dream.

- The approach road towards the property is not good. The food I consumed was not that tasty as per our liking. No TV in the room though not expected at such a budget rate. However, these shortfalls don't play any major role to reduce it's credentials.

+ Tout, nous avons tout aimé ! La gentillesse de Mukesh qui tient seul cette petite guest house, sa cuisine faite à la demande, avec des produits frais, la chambre confortable et spacieuse, le rooftop superbe avec ses fleurs, ses oiseaux, son calme. Et la situation au top, â 10mn â pieds des temples du groupe ouest, donc au plus près de la vraie vie indienne !

+ The rooms were clean and so was the surroundings. The host was very attentive and polite. It is also a very beautifully maintained property making the stay very relaxing and pleasant. We were very happy with the service and as women tourists the stay felt very safe as well.

- I'd have liked the rooms to have slightly better sound proofing as I could hear the guests from the neighbouring rooms and I'm assuming they could hear us too. While it was not a big issue for us it can be for others. This will not stop me from booking another stay if I happen to visit Khajuraho again.

- La cena non era un granché e il mio compagno è stato male la notte

+ Questa piccola e accogliente guesthouse non si trova in centro, che però si raggiunge facilmente a piedi in meno di 10 minuti. I templi principali si raggiungono a piedi, max 1t minuti. Le camere sono pulite e confortevoli. Affacciano tutte su un cortiletto interno ben tenuto dove è possibile rilassarsi bevendo un tè o un caffè preparati dal uno dei due proprietari. I bagni ok, puliti e con la doccia con acqua calda sempre a disposizione e un bel getto. I proprietari parlano bene inglese e sono sempre disponibili a dare una mano. C'è anche una terrazza sul tetto dove poter cenare o prendersi una pausa. La struttura, come si vede in foto, offre vari servizi. Ottimo posto che consiglio se si soggiorna a Khajuraho.

+ Wonderful, friendly staff. They helped us figure out transport and they prepared the most delicious meals for us during our stay. We also really enjoyed the open courtyard with all the plants and vines and flowers. Great location, as it is walking distance to some of the attractions and restaurants but also away from the noise and hustle bustle. I visited with my family and we all wished we could stay for longer!

+ The staff at the property were amazing. They couldnt do enough for you with a constant smile on their faces. Very helpful with any questions, sorting out transport and booking safaris in advance. The place had a lovely ambience and homely feel.

- Nothing to complain about

+ It’s excellent value for the price paid…it is very basic but what can you expect! If you arrive with the right expectations you won’t be disappointed in this Homestay. We stayed 4 nights & the guys who are really nice, looked after us very well..Thank you!! Going out of their way to try & organise Safaris, to buying our tickets to the Temples, took us to the shops for supplies & more importantly they got us our beer in. We ate breakfast & dinner & we enjoyed some lovely meals & are happy to report we had no adverse effects. Therefore, don’t hesitate to eat here, it was fantastic value as well… It’s about a 15-20 minute to the main temple area passing through the local area, along with the cows, goats etc. No one really hassled us until we got near the town but the hawkers are nowhere as aggressive as Delhi/Varanasi etc In summary we would recommend…

- Not so much a dislike…but as we stayed for so long it would have been nice to have the offer of the room floor being swept etc…but what can you expect for the price!

+ Stayed November 25 Excellent hosts, couldn't do enough to help. Plenty of information for tourists. Clean, lovely home cooked food, hot water, laundry service if required. Can organise transport for sightseeing and early morning safari. Would definitely recommend
