Kose Hostel

staff and vibe is good. disguesting bathrooms, smelling bad and having stains. not enough bathroom for the size. also, there is music and people talking loud in the commkn grounds. my room was facing the common grounds and i had trouble sleeping, especially when we have to wake up at 5 am for hot balloons. the staff lowered the volume upon requests, but it was still an issue.

On n’a pas pu dormir pendant 4 jours c’était l’enfer. Le propriétaire avait accepté une colonie de vacances de 35 adolescents, extrêmement bruyante et pas du tout en phase avec le public d’un hostel c’était le cauchemar. On ne pouvait pas annuler la réservation donc on était bloqués. On est partis de là, on a enchaîné sur 6h de route, on essaye toujours de s’en remettre. Dommage parce que le staff était très sympa !

Completely overrated. Beds and Toilets are extremely bad.

i had reservation with them but didnt use it couse of i went there and when i saw the rooms and barhroom then i didnt tell them i have booking with them. i ve found better place for same rate. it looks like they have all fake reviews... dont book it without see rooms

No aircon or fans in the room so it gets very hot, the cleaning was very poor, the toilet was just disgusting. The hostel is very bad maintained, everything is very old (mattress, sheets, chairs, bunk beds) . The Internet doesn't work properly, it just stops every 5 minutes. The owners were very rude with people playing cards. I just don't understand why the rating is so high.

Great staff and good location! The property has a lot of potential if it were properly cleaned. One of the bed's mattress was so old you could feel the springs underneath.

Wir blieben nur eine Nacht. Ehrlich gesagt würde ich dieses Hostel nicht empfehlen. Der Schlafsaal war extrem kalt (im November). Die Bettwäsche wurde vor unserer Ankunft definitiv nicht gewechselt, da meine Freundin einen Gummibären in ihrem Bett gefunden hat. Und das Schlimmste waren die Badezimmer! Ich habe schon in billigeren, aber definitiv viel besseren Hostels übernachtet. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

-Hostel is decent in a good location, cheapest in Goreme. -No use of kitchen which is a shame considering food prices in town, 30 Tl for an instant coffee and 300 for laundry is outrageous! However breakfast is pretty good. -Main staff member is nice but owner seems to think it’s acceptable to have his friends round singing and drinking until 2.30am, breaking their own rule about noise after 10pm!

The dorm is on the roof of the house. There's no air-conditioning and it gets pretty hot in there. Nice things they have a nice garden and even a pool you can use. Also downstairs in and outside are cooler if you want to spend time during the day. This is not a good spot to watch the balloons. But I went up the mountain cost 20 Turkish lire. And had a wonderful view. Seeing that I could get a great hotel for not much more money might influence your decision to stay.

Our rooms were very easy to access, and the breakfast staffs were nice and friendly, the warm breakfast was also an all inclusive, but our 2 bed private rooms was very hot (even though we always open the door and windows), and during the night it was quite noisy so we could not really get a good night sleep

Desde o momento da chegada até nossa saída fomos muito bem acolhidos! Ambiente agradável e tranquilo. Os recepcionistas se empenharam e nos auxiliaram com reservas de passeios e transfer aeroporto/hotel/aeroporto. Café da manhã bom. Chá e café disponíveis gratuitamente 24 horas por dia. Super recomendo.

Overall very nice place, there is almost always someone at the reception which is nice, the private room was good value for money and the breakfast was really good for a hostel. But I gave them my laundry to wash and they gave me half of it back, so I had to look for the rest of my clothes in the dirty laundry room, also things were still wet and if you book a transfer with them and want to pay in Turkish lira make sure to agree to an exact price in Turkish lira before, the drivers try to make u...

Good hostel located in the heart of Göreme. The included breakfast each morning was delicious as was the tea/coffee station. The twelve bed dorm is located on the roof terrace and was very nice to stay in, but could be a problem in poor weather as there is a short uncovered stretch. Overall the hostel could use a bit of maintenance to be great as some of the showers and toilets had broken parts. And the pool was being refurbished during my stay even though the listing said open from mid-April.

I have travelled a lot, and stayed in easily 100+ hostels, and Kose Hostel is exactly what a hostel should be. It is without a doubt one of my facourite hostels that I have stayed in. The vibe is so nice. There is a mix of groups and solo travellers. All the staff and volunteers are super super helpful and friendly. They hang out with the guests all day every day. Special shout outs to Ali, Ali and Jake. The breakfast is perfect and the common area really promotes a social atmosphere.

Super cozy and friendly hostel where you easily snd very quickly feel at home ! Also thanks to the nice people working there ! Breakfast is a nice Option and the location is perfect. They also have a nice roof top Torsten the balloons in the morning! Recommand staying there and would stay there again !

Nice staff, yummy breakfast. Loved the free tea and coffee. Very happy with the laundry service and price compared to other places. Only thing was common areas were a bit untidy and things were closed due to winter.
